The next two months were torture for Kiyo. Both Sorin and Sanura had a habit of teasing his desire to the point where things started to smoulder and then they would back off. They were trying to help him learn control of his new mutari-given gift of fire and while it did eventually start to help, it also drove him to distraction. His work at the shop was suffering, and he'd come home with an egg on his head more than once because he'd been lost in a daydream of things the pair had been doing to him and then he'd either been startled when somebody started talking to him, or the tool in his hand had started to go hot, and he'd smacked his head on the underside of the hood.
The quasi-triplets had also noticed changes in the past two months. Where before there was a clearly defined separation of whose parents were whose, those lines were now quite blurred as Sanura and Sorin finally let go of the slight distance they'd kept between them and Kiyo's twins, and Kiyo took on a more fatherly role with Sorin and Sanura's daughter. Obviously the children didn't understand all of the details of what was going on, why the household dynamics were changing, but they were thriving on the new stronger relationships.
One night, just a little more than two months after their talk with Sanura about wanting her to join them, Kiyo came home from work more than a little worked up. To be teased for months with no release, because even taking care of himself brought out the fire, he just couldn't take it anymore. He had talked to his older sister a couple hours before he left work, had asked her if she'd be willing to take the kids for the night and when she'd be happy to, he told her when he'd be home and to please have them before that because he had plans.
Saiyuri was no dummy, she knew very well what Sanura and Sorin had been doing to her poor brother and she only barely managed not to snicker before hanging up the phone with him. She informed Thiery that they'd be inheriting the triplets that night and had then left to go fetch them. She called Sanura on the way telling her that she was absconding with the kiddos for the night. She didn't tell the cheetah why, but when Sanura thanked her for being kind enough to offer, Saiyuri didn't argue with her either. She had a feeling that Kiyo didn't want Sanura or Sorin to know he'd been the one to beg her to take them.
When Kiyo finally got home from work, Sanura greeted him at the door with a big smile. "Saiyuri asked me if she could take the kids tonight and since we haven't had any kid-free time in a while I said yes. I hope you don't mind," she told him after a quick welcome home kiss on the cheek. Kiyo resisted the urge to take her right there in the foyer, and instead answered with as straight a face as he could manage, "Nope, I don't mind. They love their aunt and uncle so that's fine with me."
Sorin joined them in the kitchen shortly after Kiyo got home, Kiyo was pouring himself a nice cold glass of water when the mutari entered the room and came over to lay a kiss on the same cheek that Sanura had. Kiyo couldn't help the low rumbling purr that started in his chest at the affection from the other man. When Sorin, too, mentioned that Saiyuri had asked to take the kids that night, Kiyo nodded before asking the other two, "Its been a while since we've bbq'd, what do you guys say to that for dinner?"
In answer, Sanura practically bounced to the freezer to grab out the steaks she'd been saving for just such an occasion. "You boys take care of these, I'll get the rest of dinner ready," she said as she shoved the steaks at Sorin and dug around in the pantry for the seasonings that the men liked on their steaks before handing those to Kiyo. The two men were smiling and shared a little laugh when Sanura shooed them both out of "her" kitchen so she could get the rest of dinner ready.
Dinner turned out delicious, and the conversation was great considering there weren't the normal endless questions from three very curious children. Once all the dishes were in the kitchen sink and the three of them were lounging on the back porch, Kiyo thought he had bided his time long enough. Without any prior warning, he just stood up and started stripping off his clothes. With his shirt, shoes and socks off and his pants unzipped he couldn't help but laugh as the other two just stared at him, obviously confused. He made an obvious glance at the hot-tub situated in a corner of their very private backyard and he challenged them, "Last one in is a rotten egg!" as he continued stripping out of his clothes and then bolted for the hot-tub.
He'd given himself enough of a headstart that by the time he got to the hot-tub himself, he was able to watch the other two finish their race to get naked and hop into the hot-tub with him. The sight of them both like that brought Kiyo's blood and desire to practically boiling but he shoved the heat away. It was easier to control his fire while submerged in water and he was determined to not be shut down by his lovers this time. As soon as they had both slipped into the water with him, Kiyo didn't bother hiding his desire anymore and he scooted over to them, circling them both with his arms and kissing one passionately and then the other.

It seemed that his cat had finally started using his brain, Sorin thought as he sprinted across the yard. Kiyo had figured a solution to them being together without him starting a blaze. And, as he climbed over the side, Sorin was ever so grateful that the cat had figured something out.
The last two months had been torturous.
After a kiss from the frankly horny Kiyo, Sorin sat back and watched as Sanura and Kiyo got to know each other in the biblical sense. Watching those two wiggle around in the hot tub's shallower end was enough to spike his body temperature and sky rocket the heat of the water. With one hand, he reached over to the hot tub controls and dialed the heater down. He never took his eyes off the two felines; the hold on his control fraying as he watched Sanura ride Kiyo.
Normally a strongly possessive man, Sorin didn't like sharing his partners with anyone. Previous to Kiyo and Sanura, any incidents of group sex had been spontaneous events involving unattached and consenting adults. But then, he was possessive over these two individuals and only wanted the best for them.
It was only through his determined and prolonged chase that he'd managed to lure the heterosexual Kiyo into his bed. Sorin was enough of a realist to believe that there would always be a part of the Leopard that desired the female body. If this arrangement with 'Nura worked out, Kiyo would be able to indulge those wants without having to lie or sneak around.
The bond between him and 'Nura was more then the child they share. A child, he mused, that had likely been conceived in this very hot tub while they commiserated over Kiyo's marriage the Wicked Witch of Cedar Valley. It was Kiyo who'd brought them together but their daughter was the cause of the deep friendship they shared. He knew that the violent ending to her previous relationship had deeply scarred her to the point where she wasn't seeking romantic entanglements. She'd told him hat she saw herself as a mother first, hunter second, cheetah third and lastly a woman. She didn't go out seeking physical intimacies with strangers. She wanted someone she knew, trusted, and liked when she felt those urges. He and Kiyo could offer her those services.
So, Sorin was content, if painfully aroused, to watch Kiyo and Sanura's wild and wet mating on the other side of hot tub. Watching Sanura writhe in Kiyo's lap as she shed the layers to reveal the passionate woman she truely was got him hot. The fact that Kiyo kept eye contact with him while he spent himself within Sanura only added to the heat.
When they had burnt through the first layer of lust, the feline duo floated across to where Sorin sat. He seating options on this end of the sunken hot tub offered more room but Kiyo crowded close and below the water, his hands stroked thighs. Sanura elected to take a seat on his lap. His partners thusly settled, Sorin indulged himself into hot, hungry kisses and caressing hands. When Sanura, the one who'd been the most deprived of late, was reduced to whimpering and pleading, Sorin gripped her by the hips and lifted her up. It was Kiyo who reached down to take hold of of him and guide him to her entrance. Sorin slowly lowered Sanura down, loving the little mewling cries as slid her down his friend. When he was fully settled and hard within her, he led the Cheetah set the pace. The water of the hot tub splashed onto the deck as she rocked and Kiyo stroked and he lavished attention on the both of them.
*** They may have started in the steaming water of the hot tub but they ended the evening tangled together in Sorin's bed. Those first couple of rounds had settled Kiyo to the point where he could safely be ravished, and do some ravishing of his own, on the comfort of a plush mattress. They'd collapsed in a slick tangle of bodies somewhere around midnight. At least, that was the last time Sorin recalled seeing.
Late the next morning, he wiggled out from between the two felines and went for a shower. He didn't stay under the spray long but the two had cuddled together in his absence. Shaking his head over the antics of warmth seeking cats, he pulled on a pair of comfortably warm lounge pants and went in search of food.
Between the time he started breakfast and the point when the scent of bacon and coffee woke his lovers, Sorin fired off a text to Saiyuri, asking if she'd be willing to keep the kids for the rest of the weekend. She'd responded that it wouldn't be a problem and that she hoped he previous evening had been a success.
Sanura and Kiyo, in various states of dress, stumbled into the kitchen. Sanura went for the coffee while Kiyo stole a piece of bacon. Once the two were more awake, he greeted each with a kiss. "Last night went well. Saiyuri is willing to take the kids for the entire weekend so we can spend some more time together."
Sorin didn't add that he wanted to spend more time with them naked but then he thought that was obvious.

The triplets had been tracking Guardian through the trees behind the house and after having pounced on him they had all scampered off. The big leopard made his way back to the treeline and then to the porch where his pile of clothes were. Even in human form he could hear the trio giggling and yelling playfully at each other. He had opened the door and was just about to slip back into the house when the playful yells turned to scared ones. He stopped and listened only long enough to hear Kaylie and Amirah yelling at Nolan to hold on, and hearing Nolan screaming in fear, before turning and yelling inside the house, "Sorin! Nura! Help!" Then he bolted back towards the woods, Guardian breaking free and shifting them as Kiyo leapt of the porch into the grass.
His feline instincts helped Guardian locate the children quickly and Kiyo had just regained control of their body when the girls, and Nolan, screamed in terror as the branch that Nolan had been hanging from snapped. Kiyo yelled his son's name in panic as be tried to get to the tree in time but Nolan just kept falling and at the last minute Kiyo jumped toward him, closing his eyes as he hit the leaf-littered forest floor, in a desperate attempt to catch him. The dull thud he heard from a few feet in front of him, followed by eerie silence, threatened to rip Kiyo to shreds. The girls were crying then, their sobs muffled probably as they held each other, but when Nolan's gentle voice asked softly, "Daddy? You know magic?"
The girls stopped crying and Kiyo's eyes flew open. He stared in shock for a moment as he eyed his son moving up and down slowly on a whirl of leaves. Not sure how long the magic would last, or whether it was his or one of the children's, Kiyo moved quickly and plucked his son out of the air. As soon as Nolan was safe, the leaves resettled and left a strange crop circle-esque pattern on the forest floor.
About that time, Sanura came plowing through the underbrush and she immediately checked all three kids to make sure they weren't injured. Sensing something strange in the air, Nemesis alerted Sanura and then listened as the woman demanded, "Which one of the three of you were playing with magic? You know you're not supposed to without Papa around!"
Nolan, not one to argue with adults under any circumstance, piped up cheerfully, "It wasn't us Mama, it was Daddy!" The shock that registered on Sanura's face was probably about what Kiyo figured his face looked like but seeing it on her he couldn't help but laugh a little. Sorin, not graced with a swift feline form, stumbled through the trees right as Kiyo was putting Nolan down so Kaylie and Amirah could hug him and check him for themselves, before drawing up short himself at the smell of magic.

Sorin stumbled through the underbrush until he joined his family in the small clearing. Similar to the scent of Ozone, he could pick up the smell of magic in the air and it didn't taste like any of the children. He smirked at Kiyo. "Well, well, well, it seems that your children didn't just inherit their mother's ability of magic."
He came up behind Kiyo and hugged him tight. "It seems that I have another student but I think your lessons will be private. Talents that sprout when the bear is older are harder to tame. That, and I don't think you'd appreciate the nursery games I have been using to teach the children," he said the words quietly, well aware that Kiyo was stunned and probably on the verge of a freak-out.
He motioned to Sanura to draw the kids back to the house. Once the kids were on the way home, recounting the whole story to Sanura, Sorin turned Kiyo around. "Your turning probably woke the dormant abilities and the need to rescue Nolan brought them all the way out. You okay?"

Cairo Badawy watched as the subjects she had under surveillance moved from one home to another. Not that they had to move far, she thought as the two men shifted boxes from one parcel of land to the other. Her information told her that the house they were moving into was a brand new custom build that had been completed in record time. A similar design and blueprint to the home they were exiting but bigger footprint. It was needed, if her information was correct. There were already three children racing between the two houses and two more on the way.
The soul she harbored had nearly gone berserk at that tidbit of information. Wrongly killed, he’d once been affianced to the woman in question and still quite possessive of her. She couldn’t make him see reason about wanting his loved ones to move on with their lives. Everything she knew about him said he wouldn’t have acted like this in the living world but ghosts...
Ghosts had a tendency to latch onto the oddest things. And to her but that was something else entirely.
Cairo glanced at her passenger and sighed. It was only by courtesy of spells and sheer will power that this ghost was contained to the passenger seat of her rental. The spells kept him for poltergesting the house and her own strength of will kept him from possessing her. It had been two decades from his passing and still this shade was fixated on the woman. Not surprising, Cairo thought, as he’d passed quite traumatically while trying to protect her during a tussle with a feral feline and a uncaring hunter.
He’d wandered into her crypt, as they all did, not understanding that he was a mire fragment of what he’d been at the time. She told him that she’d help him find closure or revenge but he had to wait in line. He’d waited decades for his turn, often impatiently, to find his way off this earthly plane. He’d died protecting the woman and his way to rest would be knowing that she was safe.
Except he currently didn’t believe her to be very safe. She’d been infected by the cat, infected by a mutari sorcerer, and was seemingly the broodmare and nanny to the children of the two mutari men she lived with. The soul hardly believed she was safe or happy in her present situation. Cairo had her own doubts; she’d seen many things over the centuries of her life but didn’t think triads could last outside the tight bonds of a God Tool.
Still, her mission in life, both as a death walker shifter and as a daughter of Anubis was to see the lost souls of Egypt into the afterworld. There were others like her but they handled those who didn’t cling to the mortal world. Even then there were a few others who could do her job but they, unlike she, burnt out quickly.
She assumed being a Jackal-shifter linked to the deathwalker phase of the moon along with her mysterious Chaotic parentage and being a first degree daughter of Anubis had something to do with it all.
Cairo, and the soul, groaned as she recognized the late model car turning the corner. The female subjects parents. She’d needed them to find her and she’d underestimated their desire to find the woman.
She watched as the car stopped and the passenger door opened. The mother all but flew out of the car. When her female subject stumbled in surprise and fell to the ground, Cairo barely had time to squeak before the soul jumped into her and tossed her body out of the car. ***
Sorin paused in his box hauling to watch as the girls hauled their seven foot tall teddy bear across the lawn. Their brother was a few feet ahead, tugging one of his five gallon buckets of Legos to the new house. He turned, intent on getting the kitchen emptied this afternoon and nearly collided with Sanura. Or, rather, the box she carried. He looked at it, pots and pans, before neatly plucking it from her arms.
His response to her grumbled ‘I’m pregnant, not disabled’ comment was that she was five months gone with a pair of unruly twins and hadn’t her doctor told her no heavy lifting?
When she hissed, Sorin suggestion that she go over to the new house to supervise the unpacking of the new kitchen because who knew where Kiyo was putting things. That had her going and Sorin watched, box balanced on his hip as Sanura made her way down the porch to the lawn. It had been two years, 27 months actually, since he and Kiyo had approached her about joining them.
During the first twelve months, ‘Nura had opted to be turned Mutari. She’d used a family friend of a different mutari bloodline for the transformation. After a few months of training and getting used to her new abilities, the talk had happened. She’d wanted more children. He and Kiyo had agreed with provisions of their own. Children would follow a bonding ceremony that linked the three of them legally together in order to provide for all the children.
That had happen, Sorin thought as he absently spun his ring of three braided strands around his ring finger. They’d tried for children with no luck until Sanura’s feline half helped out by drop kicking the woman into a rare heat.
The cat had helped out in a big way as Sanura was carrying sort of twins. Same mother, obviously, but one fathered by Kiyo and one fathered by him. Sorin ran his eyes, just a little posessively, over Sanura as she awkwardly bent down to help Nolan pick up spilled Lego pieces.
He shifted, scanning the property, and his eyes hardened as he took in the bland beige colored car parked on the road. It had been parking there for three days now. His houses were at the ass end of the mostly undeveloped street and he wasn’t expecting company so it had no business being there.
His eyes narrowed as a dark blue sedan eased to a halt at the curb across from the beige car. The passenger door opened and a older woman scrambled out, screeched a ‘Baby!’ and went running for Sanura.
Who went pale, stumbled, and went down. Sorin dropped his box of pans and lept over the railing. Kiyo, having done the same at the other house, reached Sanura first. Which was a good thing because Sorin was bowled over by a five foot teo flash of purple and blue. The flash turned out to be a woman who tried her best to scramble away. Sorin, not in a mood to play nice when Sanura was pale and shaking, snatched the woman by the leg and hauled her backwards while throwing himself forward. He reached Sanura, sliding between her and the older woman when the other strange woman tackled Kiyo, howling at him to get away from her fiance.
