The kiss with Alla was sweet, but surprisingly intense. Despite the look in the woman's eyes before she'd kissed her, she hadn't really expected such an enthusiastic reaction. When Alla finally pulled away her heart was racing and Zori couldn't help the whimper that escaped her.
She was so focussed on Alla that she had no idea Nuka had even entered the room until she was pulled backwards into a man's chest. She was worried for a moment that the snow leopard couple had returned, but when she caught the man's scent her heart started to race even more than it already had been. The scent was dragon, and though she hadn't been this close to him since he'd brought her to the holding she still knew it quite well.
Nuka tilted her head up and kissed her while Alla nuzzled and purred at her neck. She had waited so long for one or the other of them to do exactly this that both of them at once left Zori more than a little dazed. When they pulled away from her, Zori was glad for her dragon reflexes because otherwise she may have fallen to her knees. As it was, she only swayed a little at the loss of their support on both sides of her.
She tried to demand just what the hell was going on, but her words came out in a jumble and Nuka just grinned at her. The glare that she directed at him had absolutely no malice in it, and he just grinned more. Apparently she had gotten the point of her question across, however, because Nuka then started to explain the answer. As Nuka spoke, Zori went through quite a range of emotions, many of them showing on her face. She gawked and blushed, looked confused, thoughtful and blushed even more. She didn't need the time to think about the things he told her, she had known her answers for at least the last year. Once she'd finally admitted to herself her feelings for both of them. Still, she wanted to at least give the impression of taking the time to consider things so she nodded and agreed.
When Nuka and Alla both smiled back at her, apparently pleased that she would think about things, Zori smiled brightly at them in return. Then her smile turned into a smirk, her eyes showing clearly just how hungry she was for more of what the two had started with her, she closed the distance between them. She first caressed the side of Alla's face and then trailed her fingers down Nuka's chest. Her voice was soft but rough with desire when she looked between them, asking, "Show me what I've been missing? Please?"

When Roma had found him in the snow bank, she had practically had to pry him out of it. She -did-, however, have to pry an explanation for -why- he was in the snow bank from him. He hadn't wanted to explain but felt compelled to anyway since she had been kind enough to haul his stubborn ass in from the snow and give him hot tea to warm his now very chilled body. At her confession of a similar surge of desire for Levi, Aro outright gawked. Yes they'd been intimate semi-regularly in the past couple months, but that didn't mean they had actually shared their most private thoughts. For them it had been more of a physical connection, something that they both needed thanks to being Brood.
Hearing her talk about why she'd felt that way for Levi stirred in him the feelings for the man that Aro had been running from in the first place. Because of that, her set of questions directed at him shocked him. He sat for a moment in silence, just thinking.
It didn't take him long before the answer slipped from him lips, "No." At Roma's blank look, clearly waiting for an explanation, he elaborated further. "I'm a bit shocked at the attraction, but it doesn't bother me at all. I thought I was done with feelings after what happened with Sky, but apparently I was wrong." He shrugged, clearly baffled by this realization. He cleared his throat then added, "I enjoyed every second of that kiss Roma. I wanted more, and still do, but Levi isn't fully recovered and I don't want to add any complications to his life until he is. If more happens between us physically, I certainly won't regret it."
At that moment, Aro barked out a small laugh and, talking more to himself than to Roma, he mumbled, "No more wondering where Lilia and Grae got their preferences from I guess."

Three days had dragged for what felt like forever. After the send-off that Nuka and Alla gave her the night before she went on rotation, and waking up tangled with them in the morning, she had wanted nothing more than to go home. She had never felt so strongly about wanting her shift to be over but now that she knew she actually had a family to go home to things had changed.
As it was, she was just slinging her bag over her shoulder to leave when her father's mate, her mother, knocked on her open door in the Tender's barracks. She smiled at Sky and asked after her and the rest of the family. Sky answered happily, keeping up the act of small talk for a few moments before finally getting to her point. "Your father and Aureli are missing you, and I know neither of them will ask you themselves, but why haven't you been coming to visit like you used to?"
Zori wanted to groan in frustration, but instead she took a breath to center herself before answering. "I've been feeling restless lately. I've been trying to figure out where I belong, and for that I need space and time to think. My rotations out here, my time with the Ancients, is quiet and peaceful and it helps me." Sky didn't look totally convinced by Zori's answer so she added somewhat grumpily, "As much as I enjoy visiting, spending time with all of you barely gives me time to breathe let alone time to think. I'm used to the jungle, remember? Ask Mom and Dad just how much time I actually spent around other people versus how much time I spent off alone hunting. That was my job. Nobody but my parents wanted me home."
Zori saw Sky flinch when she called Aurelie her mom, but it couldn't be helped. She wasn't about to change five centuries worth of of calling the woman who had raised her "Mom" just because her biological mother, who had abandoned her, had suddenly been found. She was happy to get to know the woman, but she was still bitter about being left behind for five hundred years. After that, Sky nodded somberly and told Zori that she'd explain things to Sirus and Aurelie before she left Zori alone in her room.
Her flight home to the other end of the range was spent stewing. Her biological family was complicated and when her brother had left with his bonded partner to return to whatever the town was that they'd been living, she had been left with nobody but her parents, her biological mother and her mother's ex, and their daughter who was technically Zori's half sister. But because Sky wasn't having any part in raising the girl, Orli, Zori didn't feel she was allowed to have a connection to her life anymore than she had, until now, felt like she was allowed a connection to Kira and Kostya.
About the time the twins came to mind, Zori saw the ledge that signalled she was moments from home. Most of her broodiness flitted away to be dealt with later, only a bit remaining. Maybe Alla or Nuka would help her talk to Aro about getting to know her baby sister...
