Dream casually glanced at the faces of the tormented souls. They all had vacant expressions. To used to seeing the glassy eyed shades, Dream rolled her shoulders. "Of course they are gone. They exist in their own personal torment. Some may appear sane but they really aren't. These are the souls of the humans who have been condemmed to hell. They earn no repreive from their sins, no matter how great they were in life."
Dream kicked at a rock in the path, listened to the plunking of the stone rolling down the ramp. "After a diety accepts you, you will be able to have an illusionary form but Custoss, other angels, and other beings will be able to see what you truely are. You will need to return to the ninth layer every so often, otherwise I'd hate to see what would happen if you got caught out in the open should you run out of "power," as it were."
Dream hopped off the ramp and turned to face Dream. "This is the ninth layer. Wait here, I'm going to see if I can find Marrus."

Rhystic was on his way back to his father's house, which was once again his own house now that his father was sick. He never understood how Custos's got sick, especially ones like his father, Marrus. He had just returned his retch of a brother to the surface to find his own way home. Tobin had been there overnight to see their father, and even though Marrus asked that he'd stay, both Tobin and Rhy had had enough of eachother.
Living in the ninth layer had it's fall backs as Rhy muttered about how long it took to get there, but upon arrival he sighed as he saw a new fallen. He was hoping he's have a little time before he had to do anything work related, but obviously today was not a day for good fortune. He saw the Angel she was with moment later and grumbled to himself.
"Can I help you?" Was all he said, never one to be particularly nice to Angels, or fallen for that matter.

Bacia was left there alone for a while, she wasn't particularly impressed by the ninth layer, she kind of expected a little bit more because this was after all the worst layer right?
Getting a little bored and impatient of just standing there, she folded her arms and sighed heavily. A voice from behind her startled her and made her jump. Turning around she was looking at a tall man with nearly the same color eyes as herself.
When he spoke with an attitude it only riled Bacia up again. "I don't know can you help me? I was told to stay here and now I'm waiting for a crusty Custos named Marcus or something to show up. Unless your him, I don't know."

Dream scowled as she wandered back towards the main area of the ninth layer. Where in the hell was Marrus? She'd checked all his normal hiding places but no Custos lord. Dream stopped a few feet from Bacia and groaned. She knew the Custos coming towards him but he didn't know her. She knew all about this Custos from the ranting Dion did during their weekly get-together. "It's you," she muttered before sighing.
Dream pointed at Bacia. "This is Bacia, recently fallen and in search of your Father, Rhystic. She killed her sister and enjoyed it a little to much. She needs a new guardian before the less-sympathetic Custoss get to her. Or angels looking for revenge get to her. Now, where is Marrus? I really want to get out of here to take a bath."

Rhystic had raised a brow a the fallen before him, who had just insulted his father, not only by calling him 'crusty' but by not even bothering to remember his name. Especially since he'd be all the help she'd get here. That is, if he was still the one doing the active work. He had opened his mouth to reprimand her, because he was definately in the mood to yell, when he heard someone speak.
Rhy turned to find an Angel standing behind him, to which he narrowed his eyes. Hadn't he put with enough Angels? He growled quietly, a rumbling sound that spoke of his displeasure, but the Angel spoke, getting to the point, and more importantly, explaining her presence.
A sigh left him as he glanced at the Fallen again. Murdered her sister did she? How lucky.. she was actually able to get rid of -her- bothersome sibling. He wished he had the same luxury. His gaze turned back to the Angel, his disdane for her kind obvious. "My -father-, Marrus..." He only stressed the relation for the sake of the Fallen, who had insulted him, "...is currently ill and I have been placed in charge of his active duties until further notice. And please, don't let me keep you from you precious bath just for the sake of your job."
The added comment wasn't very neccessary, but Rhy didn't care. The demeaner of this Angel made him believe he'd be seeing her soon enough anyway, but as a Fallen, not their guide. She certainly seemed well on that path.

Hearing the mention that Marrus was ill and this one was in charge left her rather dumbstruck. Dropping her arms she kept her gaze at Rhystic, unsure of what her next move should be.
Switching her view from Rhystic to Dream at the comment of the greatly desired bath, Bacia took a step forward with a new found confidence.
"So, your in charge then are you? So is it possible that this guardian ship thing can get a move on because standing here like this is rather tedious."

"Ill? Uncle Marrus is ill?" Dream blinked wide eyes and turned to Bacia. "Okay, if the jerk gives you any problems just let me know and I'll get my sister to maim him. The gods only know how much she wants to maim him."
Dream turned on her heels and headed towards the area that Marrus lived in. On her way, as to avoid any questions, Dream shifted forms to the one that she'd run around in as a child. Generally the same as her angel form but with darker hues and the obvious marking of her family crest on her forhead. One she found the room Marrus was bound to be in, she poked her head in and looked at the older Custos. "Silly Custos man, getting ill and leaving him in charge of things. There's a fresh fallen out there," she murmered to herself as she perched herself on a chair.

Rhystic blinked, doing a double-take and became fairly certain that he was hearing things. Had she just said -uncle- Marrus? Was this girl some sort of reletive of Tobin's? No... that wouldn't make sense. Even if Tobin had Angel cousins they wouldn't have been raised to think so kindly of Marrus.
She had mentioned something about her sister, though. Why would her sister want to maim him? After that thought, the wheels started to turn in the right direction and the information clicked into place. She had to be one of Dion's sisters. The gods only knew how many she had running around, and they were all mixed blood of varying types. He sighed, not really up to dealing with anymore of his brother's extended family.
The Fallen had been waiting impatiently while he thought this through, and he was all for getting rid of her as soon as possible, but he'd have to help her first. He motioned for the Fallen to follow him. "Come then... Bacia was it?" Personally he wouldn't have cared about her name, but he had to know it in order to introduce her to the diety that would be her guardian. "We're headed to my office so we can finish this up."
Rhy began walking toward his father's home, now his once more as long as Marrus was ill. When they reached the house Rhystic paused momentarily by his father's door. He heard talking, and knew the Angel was in there. He listened carefully for a second to pick out what they were talking about. They were discussing his father's illness, Rhy now being incharge, and the Fallen now behind him.
The Angel seemed on friendly terms with his father, but he was nervous, too nervous to leave her alone with him. He had lost his mother to an Angel, he wasn't going to risk his father as well. He may not seem like he cared about anyone at times, but he cared for his father.
Rhystic knocked softly before pushing the door open. "Father, maybe you should rest some more. You don't want to leave me incharge of your affairs forever, do you?" He flicked his gaze to the Angel, his warning that she should heed his words and leave, before turning back to check on the Fallen.

Bacia followed Rhystic towards to door but keeping her way back a bit. Not truely wanting to admit it, but she was intimidated, scared in a way. Not for reasons of being afraid but going towards 'Marrus the lead Custos guy' was intimidating.
Stepping a few feet closer after Rhystic had stopped, she heard him mention something like .."Leave me in charge.." and that's all she heard before stepping back again. So for whatever purposes, Rhystic was going to be in charge. She already didn't like him so this made her feel 'even better'.
Bacia rolled her eyes and cleared her throat...

Dream rolled her eyes and turned away from Marrus to glare at Rhystic. "Don't you have a Fallen to be caring for." she turned back towards Marrus, pecked him on the cheek, as she never seemed to be able to maintain the idea of being a silent, cold type around him and exited the room.
Once she was in the hallway, she turned to face both Rhystic and Bacia. "I know what you are thinking but I won't hurt him. I have yet to hurt him. I'll be back for Bacia tomorrow, if a deity has accepted her by then, to show her the ropes. Please try to keep her alive."
Dream turned on her heels, gave a careless little wave over her shoulder and exited the building. Her home was on the fifth level and she really wanted her bath to wash the grime away. Marrus had also asked her to tell her father that he'd bet him at their next chess match.

Rhystic was more than shocked to see the woman kiss his father on the cheek. Once his father mentioned the chess match, however, he calmed his ruffled feathers. Obviously the Angel's father knew his, so she may have grown up in Hell, but that only seemed to annoy him more. He watched her leave before turning back to the room. He had seemingly ignored her comment about Bacia, but he knew he'd have to keep her alive. It was part of his job, to try and help her survive until she could do so on her own. He often wondered why a place like Hell would have rules like that anyway.
When he heard the Fallen clear her throat he turned to glare at her, closing the door to his father's room in the process. He motioned for her to follow him as he began to walk to the room at the end of the hall. It was his father's office, but he was using it, since it had all the records and files he needed already. He sat behind the desk, grabbing a few papers here and there. Bacia had to be recorded, after all, so he went about filling out what he knew, which only went as far as her name and what she had done, really.
He waited for the Fallen to seat herself in one of the chairs facing the desk. "Alright. Might as well get this over with as soon as possible. So, you killed your sister, right? Why was that again?"

Bacia walked into the room behind Rhystic and sat down. The office was large, one that would fit a Custos leader. Slouching in the chair a bit, body language showing little intrest, she stared at Rhystic for a moment. Somehow this isn't quite what she had pictured for the way things ran in hell, but whatever.
"Yea, I did. That little twit was annoying and wouldn't step aside for me to take what is mine..." she broke off and thought a bit about everything. What the hell was Calix's problem anyway "...he said we could be with each other after I killed her. But now that little prick can mourn his 'little precious one' and burn for all I care now"
Bacia looked down at her fingernails and started digging out crap from under them, her anger was bubbling over now with the culmination of everything. Looking back up at Rhystic now she straightened herself in the chair and leaned forward "Is that all?..."

Rhystic was grumbling to himself, rifling through drawers and files just to look like he was doing something. He had finished with Bacia only moments before, and she still sat across from him in is father's office. He was rather miffed at dealing with an Angel, Fallen or not, but he recognized that he was beginning to get a little childish. He sighed and stopped his paper-pushing.
It had taken a while to go through the various deities available to the Fallen and they had finally found one that not only seemed to fit the Fallen's situation, but one the woman had agreed with. Blodeuwedd was known for the betrayal of her husband to be with a lover, so the deity's story was similar enough to the Fallen's.
He eyed the woman across from him before speaking again. "Well, my major responsibilities to you are completed, unless you have any questions. Other than that, I can show you to a room where you can stay until the Angel comes back to escort you. If you don't wish to take the room, you must fend for yourself out there." he motioned towards the window before settling back to await her reply.
((ooc- okay.. crappy post, but I was trying to push it along and continue the storyline. Didn't want to leave thsi one out ^^))

Bacia left Rhystic's office in a huff, she didn't want to be there any more and she assumed neither did he. After exiting, she didn't see Dream the reaper anywhere but figured what the hell, why not explore a little, this was her new home.
OOC: I believe this thread is dead now, but I had to finish up my little post thing...
