Faith turned her attention from father and son to brother. "I don't forgive you for that. I might, in time but not now. I guess this means you'll have to stick around so I can get to know you. Like, what you do for a living, why did you come back and so on."
Faith stood and took her son from Tempest, nuzzling the little boy when she settled back on the couch. Just holding Bram gave her a sense a security, that he, with all his quirks, was something normal and sane in her life. "As a sort of payback, I should let Tempest's family have at you by way of introduction. They're a bit of a large and invovled family."

Mercy paced the length of the hallway running down the center of Wrath's house, scowling. he'd been gone for over another hour now. After he'd left, Mercy had taken her chance and read the file. She hadn't gotten far when she'd flung it away from her. She rarely had a temper but it came in out in quick, hot little spurts...much like a volcano erupting after years of dormancy and going straight back to sleep.
When the phone rang, Mercy pounced. "Hello?" Scowling, Mercy slammed the phone back into the cradle. She'd recognize that smoke harshened drawl anywhere. Why wouldn't the woman just die already? Mercy schlumped her way to the couch and sprawled across the length of it.

Tempest had been so involved in his son for the last part of the conversation that he hadn't noticed they had stopped speaking until he saw Faith standing infront of him. He smiled at his wife, but when she held her arms out for their son he gave a small pout before handing the boy over to his mother. He followed Faith as she carried Bram back over to the couch and sat down next to them.
He chuckled lightly when Faith mentioned subjecting Wrath to his family. He knew his family would just -love- to meet Faith's family. "I think he should be introduce to a small group at a time. Just my immediate family is larger than most families. He might be driven crazy if he were surrounded by my -whole- family."

The guilt was almost drowning Wrath where he sat but when Faith mentioned payback, he raised an eyebrow suspciously. How could one person's family be that bad? At least, how could they be that bad and tolerate each other enough to get together? When Tempest mentioned his family was huge Wrath got the sinking feeling they were the meddling types too. Big huge families normally were...
Nodding his head in agreement to part of his pennance, Wrath answered Faith finally, "I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon Faith. That house down the road is mine, I bought it and I have started my own landscaping business and garden store. I've set down roots, I want to make a life here. I had no idea it would include you but now that I know, I'm more than happy it does." He gave her a hopeful smile, he wanted so badly for her to want him as part of her life too...

Faith nodded her head, still a little unsure about all this. She hadn't had biological siblings for years. There were vauge memories but nothing that she believed to be solid. Faith shushed Bram and cooed at him. "I'm glad to hear that you will be sticking around. It's odd that you managed to buy the house right down the street. And I'm sorry about the boys yesterday. They got away from me."
Faith muttered something about chaining little monster's down and leaned against Tempest's shoulder and sighed. "It's already been a long day and it's hardly even started. I suppose that I should talk to that other woman, Mercy. Straighten out just who my children are." Faith passed Bram back to Tempest and stood. "Walk me down to your house, Wrath?"

When Faith said she needed to go talk to Mercy, Wrath couldn't help but feel hopeful. If she was willing to talk to their sister then that meant they might have a chance of once again having Faith in their lives. The way Faith asked him to walk her to his house, it wasn't really a question but more of a statement. One that Wrath was more than happy to oblige.
Getting up from where he'd been sitting, Wrath waited while Faith gave Bram over to her husband again and got up as well. He let her lead the way out of the huge confusing maze of a house but once they were outside he walked beside her down the sidewalk. They were both silent for a while then he said softly, "Thank you Faith. Thank you for giving us a chance to explain."
