Li was admiring the view from atop his boulder when Mercy started talking about her brother. "So it is safe to assume that you and your brother are really close and have been all your lives..." he broke off there not wanting to get to personal too soon.

As Mercy hollared up at him, she ducked into a little cave area that got him moving again. It was kind of overgrown like not too many people knew about this little place, but with Mercy and what she knew he figured this kind of thing was bound to happen. All Wing was doing was purring and if his tail came out, he knew it would be curled. One thing he knew he couldn't control right now was his eyes, so he knew they were now dark blue but having cats eyes in a wooded area was not necessarily a bad thing the heightened vision and all.

Mercy was still going ahead of him, apparently this cave thing was leading somewhere. "I kinda wish I had someone like that growing up, but I guess that would more or less be my fault because I tended to hide away from people and instead sought the company of books and things."

"Hiding is good and all," Mercy called over her shoulder as she ducked under a thick branch "but what happens when the hiding ends up controlling your life? You end up with ulcers and acid reflux and you start popping antiacids like they are candy. Your eyes light up when you find 1000mg antiacid tablets.

Mercy, thanking her useless father for his gift of vampire eyesight, stopped short and grinned up at a tall wall of rock. She turned around and glanced between the two walls of trees. "You know, this place looked much bigger when I was younger. Much bigger." Mercy sat down, resting her back against the granite wall and waited for Li to sit arcross from her. "So, Li," she purred out his name, rather attracted to the fact that he'd been able to keep up with her, "Why do you hide?"

Li brushed his palms against the rough rock wall surface relishing in the texture as Mercy stated her own hiding issues.

"Yeesh!" Only after the noise escaped his lips did he regret them, "Oh, I'm sorry for that, it was involuntery and slipped." Now pacing the ground he felt as if she might be burning holes in the back of his head, then finally swallowing his fear he sat down now facing her.

"Ok, well you want to know as to why I hid myself away. Well in actuality it was all by choice. I never really got along with anyone seeing as they all tended to judge at first sight. Feeling ashamed for not being accepted so early kinda left me bitter and with my books and electronics, they never judged and as horribly clique is it sounds, those inanimate objects were my only true friends."

The urge took over him just for the fact that it had been quite a while since he or Wing for that matter got to run a muck outdoors, so off came the shoes and socks. Glancing back up to Mercy, he let out an odd chuckle, "Hey its been a while and well I just want to."
