Beast Form: Silent Shadow is small and sleak, but not quite a runt. Her eyes have a bit more gold than her human counter part and her fur is a deep black with a dark brown undertone. She is built for swiftness and silence, so she is not as muscular as some Wolven.

Contagion: Kaydence had gotten a fake ID and managed to get a gig at an underground club. There she was cornered in the alleyway after the show and bitten, not knowing who here attacker was and what had been done to her.

Kay is extremely quiet and distrustful and has a tendency to glare at strange people who approach her. The only 'in' anyone has to get close to her is through music, and even then she is still stand-offish. Kay has managed to trust a few friends that she allows close to her and has no qualms about killing to keep her friends or herself safe.

Basic History
Kaydence came from an abusive home, used to seeing her father beat her mother and older brother when she was a young girl. Her father had refrained from hitting her for a few reasons; she was very young at the time, no older than 6, was always quiet and had a knack for knowing what her father wanted before he had to ask for it. Her brother who was 7 years older than her also made sure she was left alone.
She was orphaned when she was 7 after her drunken father hit a family in a van on their way home one evening. Her and her older brother, Caleb, were separated by child services and Kay was adopted by a nice family.
Kaydence was angry that she wasn't able to stay with her brother, and because of his age the family she was with refused to adopt him, so she lashed out. She became a problem child whose wardrobe was mostly black and other dark colors, who got fake IDs and snuck into clubs and bars and got piercings and a tattoo.
Kay turned to music to help her through and learned how to play guitar, read music, and even wrote a few songs for herself. She fell in with the slacker "I'm in a band" crowd at school and snuck into clubs to play. When she was 16 she was met with an unexpected turn. After one of the shows she was cornered and bitten in the alleyway.
It had taken her until her first change to figure out what had happened to her. She had been out with her "friends" and was making her way home when she changed. He had managed to stay away from humans, lurking in the back alleys that night, but had killed quite a few stray and neighborhood pets. She ran to her brother for support, and slowly learned to control her changes and abilities herself.
Through all this her foster parents held out hope for her. Even though Kay rebelled against them, she kept her grades up enough to make it through high school and enter into the local community college for music. While there she found another band to play in, with a rather eclectic group of others that were not quite so human.
