Name: Oliver Martin Fournier
Age/Birthday: 27; May 10;
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Het
Species: Wolven
Appearance
Hair Color: Medium-dark Brown, with an almost grayish quality
Hair Style: the long side of short (or the short side of medium?); scruffy when he can get away with it, which isn’t often, and (to him) annoyingly wavy; Often wears a hat: newsie-style, backwards baseball cap, a fedora when the occasion allows/calls for it… and sometimes dark bandanna.
Facial hair: short gotee.
Eyes: hazel.
Complexion: light-olive
Teeth: unusually strong and healthy
Height: 5’7
Weight: Perhaps not as thin as he was when he was 21. You can tell he has some extra weight he didn’t have before, and he is struggling with learning how to deal with a slightly slower metabolism. However, he was stick-ish when he was 21, so…
Fitness Level: It’s not the highest level of priority in his life. He works out, when he remembers to. And up until now has been part of a fencing club, and he enjoys other energetic activities, like swimming and hiking, which has probably helped.
Clothing Style: Think banana republic….Nice Khakis, polo shirts, long sleeve shirts, v neck thin (cashmere or nice fleece) sweaters, occasionally with a turtleneck. Black Leather Jacket, or a vintage navy wool top coat… He has a jacket for every occasion. His grungy side sees him in old clothing of the same ilk, just old. Usually dark colors, and he favors dark olive-green
Tattoos: He has a Mario One-up Mushroom on his left shoulder, which he rather regrets getting when he was 17.
Piercings: none
Scars: For SOME reason, one of his ears has a funny flat spot on the top… but other than that, nothing out of the ordinary.

Beast Form: Wolf. Big. Color: yellowed-white. With grey tipped ears, and a wide, grey U or a V on his back, with the point towards the tail. Also, the there is a spot of dark grey on the top, beginning of his tail. Light Grey eyes, circled in dark grey-green.

History
Oliver is from a very big, old Wolven Family with a lot of tradition, and customes. They are practically a pack in and of themselves. They aren't, in reality, but they are a main pillar of the Vancouver Pack.
The family is french in heritage. It was originally infected in the 1200's; at that point, the family consisted of three brothers, who were very close. They stuck together after the middle brother was bitten, and the family eventually grew into the intity it is now, though history affected them too: the Black Death in the 1300's decimated their numbers; the Frech Revolution diminished them once more, and caused their move to Eastern Canada; portions on the non-wolven kin broke off, and went their own way. Sometime in the 1800's, there was an extremely successful group of were-hunters, who once brought down their numbers, but were stopped before they could inflict too much damage. However, It was decided at that point to send a portion of the family west, in order to leave less of a footprint on society.
This branch set up their village near the coast of the great Pacific Ocean, on the Yukon Trail, where they sold neccisary supplies to the miners, and added greatly to the economy of the fledling town of Vancouver.
But that is all ancient history. Now, the family is large, strong, wealthy, and very self-contained.
Oliver was born to non-wolven parents, and was selected at age 13 to infected. He was bitten by his den father 1 year later, in a ceremony nearly as old as the family.
He was educated at 'home', a long with all his cousins and other relations.
He married when he was 21, to Zoe. She was also Wolven, and also Founier; something like his 6th cousin, on one side, and 4th, once removed on the other. They both attended Vancouver University, but in the fall of their sophmore year, she was on a trip to South America with one of her classes, where she accidently got in the middle of a clan war: the official report says she was an innocent victim of a war between drug clans; it doesn't mention that the curator had no idea what could have possibly caused the massive gashes that practically left her body in pieces...
This devistated Oliver, and he nearly flunked out of school, even after a semester break. Along with his depression came anger: there were days where it was everything his family could do to keep him from getting on a plane, and hunting down the murderers.
(The Clan did send down a team to investigate, but determined that short of adding a third 'army' to the war, the situation was too dangerous to do much about. A half-hearted apology was made to Vancouver's Alpha from the Alpha of one of the tribes responsible, but that didn't really ease Oliver grief, or anger. )
Finally, in a last attempt to keep him sane and breathing, jobs were found for him in the clan, things that had to be done. He became heavily involved; for awhile he acted as a judge; eventually he became an assistant to the Alpha. He also started doing some gardening at the Fournier Village, and in time was able to return to helping with care and instruction for his younger relations, something he had done previously to starting College.
At age 27, he graduated with his BA. He wants to go back and get his Master's; he'd like to be a teacher.
But news from the south may change his plans: another city has no clan, but many wolven-kind. And many who are starting to cause problems. This worries the Vancouver Clan, because if trouble starts there, it will not take long to migrate north...
