Though there is always something to do or someone for that matter, she is never bored. She is the type of person that always needs to be doing something but I wouldn’t call her adventurous. Being 3000 plus years old there isn’t much she hasn’t done. She is very loyal to people she knows and has stuck with them no matter what. She isn’t afraid of challenges but she also has a very short temper. She also has the tendency to be standoff-ish, but its really her just being shy not wanting to get hurt again.
History: Jamila was born during the height of power in Ancient Egypt to her angel parents. Jamila being the only child bore to her mother and father, much was expected of her as she grew up, after all her parents were higher level angels of Heaven. Not really getting to experience the joys of childhood she still raged and took it out on her parents. She generally broken things and stubborn as she is/ was flat out refused to listen.
When Jamila was older she was placed before the high court of heaven and they deemed her fit to level 4, much to the influence of her parents in court. Though not being allowed to be placed with her parents as she needed to serve under one of the deities. The court decided to place her with Pakhet, the goddess of inner strength with capabilities to sway from rage to peace, much like Jamila.
Pakhet took Jamila everywhere when they did travel to Earth. Jamila soon became captivated with what was presented to her. Pakhet was the one to teach and nurture all the aspects of Egypt inside of her. Jamila began attending some of the ceremonies that Pakhet was called to and witnessed how ceremonies took place ranging from motherhood to protection. However, ceremonies began to bore Jamila and she was granted free roam of Earth as she see fit. She still returned to Pakhet for lessons and to serve but slowly she was needed less and less.
As her appearance allowed her to fit in on Earth she roamed all across Egypt and got to experience all aspects from worker to princess. Figuring it would be easier to fit in as a worker she dawned clothes and began work on a pyramid for Pharaoh Menkaure. Day in and day out she labored for the great Pharaoh with no argument, after all it was helping the civilization.
Since she was a woman she had to cover up, women might not have been allowed to do a lot of building themselves but they helped in the chipping of blocks. Well working in the hot sun she got hot, naturally, and pealed off some layers of clothes. Not exposing herself, she still managed to catch the attention of the overseers who soon came and called her away to the hall of judgment. Not wanting to call attention to herself she continued to portray herself as human and allowed herself to be judged. Placed in front of Pharaoh Menkaure and his overseers, she caught his eye as well. Menkaure taking pity on this desert flower called in his son Shepseskaf and she was then in that moment promised to be his wife. Jamila now lived her days as an Egyptian princess until the day that Pharaoh Menkaure died and Shepseskaf took the throne.
Egypt was flourishing under their rule and all seemed well. Soon the day came that Jamila was pregnant and there would be an heir to Shepseskaf’s rule. All seemed well enough, until their son Menefer now five years old became ill and nothing would cure his sickness. Jamila stricken with grief ran back to Pakhet and pleaded for an answer as to why her son was dying. Pakhet would not give any response to her pleas and sent her away telling her it was simply bound to happen. Jamila heartbroken watched her son fade away and Shepseskaf blamed her for this. When her son died, she was booted out into the streets of their once kingdom.
Living now in heartache in the outskirts of the kingdom, she witnessed as Shepseskaf’s many wives were not able to produce a natural heir and soon a new dynasty took place. At this time Jamila made a vow to herself that she would not allow for this to happen to her again. Standing up and dusting the proverbial ashes off she began life anew.
Immersing herself in the ways of the ancients and holding up in court she stayed there for nearly 1000 years until she felt ready to face Earth again. When she came back , a new world had sprung up and using her lessons from Pahket, she felt compelled to give inner strength to women all over to stand up for themselves, the way she never did. Presenting herself in front of troubled women as an angelic form she helped them find what they needed to get back at their own wrong-doers.
Many centuries flew by and Jamila still to this day relatively hasn’t aged since back then. Though she hasn’t had many jobs on Earth, she has still managed to do well for herself. As this new era of darkness washed over, not many people needed to find their strength because they found it themselves. Not wishing to return back to heaven she soon found herself at a New Age Tea Shop that offered many practices of the ancients. Feeling right at home, she began work there offering also Yoga classes to those willing to take them. Getting along with people is harder than she thought it would be, many people go to the class, get it done, and leave. No one really wants to take the time to slow down and allow their minds to flourish now.
Finding that the Tea Shop wasn’t that fulfilling she has ventured out into other branches of activity. Though she has gone to clubs and things like them, they are not her favorite places to go, she still manages to find herself there so she can meet new people. She is accepting of all sorts of activities and is willing to do them, just as long as she can meet new and interesting people or beings.
