Personality
Rumor is a bit random. At times she can be quiet and contemplative, at others outgoing and bubbly, and still at other times she can have a fierce temper. Her mood and temperment depend totally on the person/people and the situation she is in at any given moment.

Faction: vengeance Custos/angel (neither side dominant)
Ethereal Form: In either form her wings are the same crimson as her hair, but as an angel they are feathered and as a Custos they are dragon-like. Other than those differences her ethereal form doesn't really differ from her normal appearance.

History
Rumor's birth was unwanted by her mother, a product of an ill-planned fling, and unknown by her father. Almost immediately after her birth, Rumor was abandoned in Hell with nothing more than a blanket with her name scrawled on it with a Sharpie marker. Luckily, a dragonrider allied with Nemesis spotted her on a sweep of the lands surrounding those held by Nemesis. The baby girl was brought to the attention of the goddess Nemesis and seeing the unjustice of the situation, Nemesis took her in and raised her. She learned most everything she knows from the goddess herself, or those the goddess handpicked to teach her.
Being raised by the goddess Nemesis was a much better life than she ever would have gotten with her birth mother, especially considering her mother fell years before she was even born, and she has never regretted being taken in by her. She has developed a strong hatred for Fallens in particular, but also for anybody who abandons or abuses children. She revels in her job as an Alati of vengeance and is rather annoyed that she has to cut back so she can attend college due to one of Nemesis' schemes to get her 'daughter' educated. Apparently Nemesis thinks it will help Rumor better understand the humans and Others she has to punish if she lives among them for a while.
Rumor has no idea who her parents are, nor does she know she has three older siblings, a niece, a nephew and a whole crazy quasi-family through one of her older sisters (which also happens to contain her mentor/friend Saiyuri, and her friend Tranquility). Gotta pity her the day all this information comes crashing down on her.
