Chantilly Trotter (Tilly)
Bloodline: Sadira
Innate Power: water but takes more easily to mist than most water forms
Age: really 143 but looks 25
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Whichever she wants, but more prone to hetero
Appearance: Standing to 5'4" she has a petite build, with small curves. Not too over womanly. Her hair is a medium to dark brown, but constantly dyes golden and white streaks in her hair. Normally wearing it up in some clip or bun of sorts, she always has a lily (fresh or fake) tucked in her hair. Her eyes are brown with flecks of red hinted throughout. She has a narrowing jaw line that fits with her build. She normally wears a skirt of dress, dress preferably. On an average day, she is seen in a soft white with black lace corseted camisole with a knee length off-white flowing skirt and small heels. In colder weather she puts a black knee-length trench coat over top
Personality: Inquisitive is one way to put it, and then again not. She loves to learn, but only the things that interest her, and as far as the other stuff goes, she could care less. Not one to sit still for too long waiting for things to happen, she will go after something if it doesn’t come for her first. Laid back only a little but not uptight. As far as family and friends go, she is loyal but not one to keep the tie strong, letting it slip if the other end isn’t there.
Infected at age: Birth
Contagion: From her parents
History: Tilly, as she likes to be called, had a boring upbringing. She had to be the one to be prim and proper because even though her parents were Vamps themselves, they were well respected in the human world.
Living on a fairly large estate in Paris, with plenty of room to run and hide, she did that quite a lot. Tilly never took to the proper lifestyle and her parents hated it. Quite often during lesson times, she would go off into the surrounding wood examining the area. It all fascinated her, mostly the dark areas of the wood. How could one be afraid of this area, she most often thought, because in her eyes most of the best things laid in the dark unknown.
Exploring was a second nature to her, not quite fond of the outside world except its dark corners, she got into everything, although she was careful about things she did get her hands on.
Both of her parents both part of the Sadira bloodline themselves had their own unique ability with water. Her mother, was prone to taking ice as her main ability. Her father always preferred rain because it could be taken in many different way, as his personality.
Tilly and her father had a pretty good father/daughter relationship growing up. He always spoiled her rotten as a child, whether it was giving her gifts, lavishing her with attention, or playing with her. Sometimes even her mother resented the fact that Tilly got most of her husbands attention, but she never held it against her, after all it was her that brought their daughter into this world and for that her husband loved her.
In 1870 her father was down in the city's main center when the Germans invaded and took Paris under siege, he was one of the causalities under this attack. It was said that it took the Germans a long time to get him down, and in final resort they took his head. Because of this brutal attack, Tilly and her mother fled their home and took the first boat to London taking with them only the money they had in the house. They went to stay with a near-by blood relative, Uncle Vaughn, who was not a man of wealth.
Things were hard after her father died, going from a life of comfort and respect to basically living in the streets was tough. Harder even still for her mother, she was a woman of state and name, now she had nothing. Tilly took her father’s death with stride, yes it was horrible to go on living without him, but there wasn’t much that could be done now. All they could to is make the best out of what had happened.
Life went on and Tilly’s mother did what she could during those years, teaching lessons of life and history as much as possible. Tilly, still as curious as ever, explored the back streets of London as much as she could. The things she learned here were more valuable than what her mother could say. Prostitutes, Black Magic, Rouge Murderers, Seedy Bars and Clubs, Drunks, and Beggars, all of them fascinated her. She still returned home every night she left, but all of this gave her a better insight to life, human or otherwise.
In 1881, Tilly left her mother and the tiny apartment, and came to the Americas and found work in the journalist field in New York. All of the reporters there were scandalous liars, Tilly became intoxicated by them for they perverted all truths that came their way. She became an intern and observed all of them, absorbing all of the nasty truths they put out.
By the turn of the century she had a journalist position, but only for herself. She was running her own paper in the underground of New York, establishing herself quite a high rank among the undergrounds. She has a nice country place for her own personal use and a city apartment which she shared with her close friend and fellow vampire, Benjamin, to whom she played the dutiful wife to and bought her the country house.
Life was good because of Tilly’s underground ties, she had already earned enough money to last her several lifetimes. In the early part of 1918 it was time for Tilly to go into hiding, she wasn’t aging in human eyes and it was time. Selling her home and saying a fond goodbye to Ben, she sailed back to London and her mother.
Her mother, she found out had made a good living as a housekeeper for a while, until it was her time to hide. But instead of hiding, she picked up a new Husband from Paris and moved back with him and was happily married to her mortal husband. Content that her mother had found a better life than in the cruddy apartment, she stayed in London from the better part of the century.
She witnessed quite a lot of the happenings of the world and watched through wars, depression, famine, and other assorted disasters. In the early 21st century she flew back to America, but out west for a new experience, and bought herself a high class, high rise apartment, picked up new underground ties and began life a new looking this time for more action than just observing it.
