Beast Form: Demeter, when she shifts, takes on the appearance of a Bengal Tiger (orange-ish body with black strips). She’s all compact muscle, claws, and teeth then.

Ethereal Form: Demeter in this form is a hybrid of both as they have integrated to some degree. This is the form she prefers to be in most of the time. Her hair is a few shades lighter. Her eyes, though, are rather dramatic. Her eyes shift from green to gold, much like how molten lava acts when the surface has cooled and breaks away from the main stream. Also, in this form, Demeter retains her markings from the tiger. The strips are fainter towards the front part and bolder towards her back. Her nails, are also changed, into something more claw like.
Infected at age: 20
Contagion: Demeter was bitten while she was attending college. She had been out partying one night and there was a cute boy at the party and there had been some alcohol. The rest, as they say, is history.

Basic History
Demeter was born of Custos parents as the seventh of eight children. Her father is the head Custos of the fifth level of hell. Her mother, though, died when Demeter was still an infant by a rouge Custos. After being raised by her sisters and father, Demeter was the spoiled one and still is.
Demeter had a normal childhood, well as normal as a Custos’s childhood could have been. Between the schooling and the training, Demeter grew up and eventually had to attend college. It was during her junior year that she had been bitten. One of Demeter’s odd little quirks is that she has a very low tolerance to alcohol. Well, she’d been out having a good time one night and a rather cute guy had come on to her. After a few more drinks, Demeter tossed her sensible side out of the window and wandered into a spare room with the cute boy. Demeter, being a Custos, hadn’t thought anything of the biting, at the time. A few weeks later, well, she’d tracked that boy down and demanded answers to several questions. The boy answered with the threat of Demeter’s father hanging over his head.
After accepting her new abilities, Demeter learned what to do with them and that was how she met Nikolas. She’d been out, hopping from tree branch to tree branch when her foot ended up tangled in some ivy wrapped around a branch. She fell over and ended up Nikolas’ backyard. After he investigated the muttered cursing coming from his backyard, the two became friends and eventually a couple of casual lovers; neither had been looking for anything permanent. Six months or so into the relationship, Demeter discovered the fact that she had become pregnant and she had ran. Her own emotions were something she had never dealt well with and a child would mean plenty of those. Demeter never did tell Nikolas that he had a child and to this day has no idea that he has a son.
Demeter currently works as a web page designer from her home as Rowan, her five year old son, is just a little bit hyperactive and a maniacal tyrant at times. She doesn’t want to traumatize her babysitter to much. She’s currently starting to see Nikolas again after he found out that he has a son.
