Shay was itchy. Itchy to get out on the town. It was her birthday and her cousin and one of her older brothers were coming in from the west coast and they were late arriving from the airport! She hadn' seen either of them since she'd left for college and that had been three months ago! Moving back east had been an experience that Shay would never regret but she had to admit she did miss her family.
When there was a knock at her dorm room door, she jumped out of her desk chair and bolted to open it. She threw the door open and was about to tackle either Rowan or Sebastian but it wasn't them... With an aire of defeat, Shay greeted her twin glumly, "Hey Livvie, they're not here yet..."
Leaving the door open so Olivia could follow her in, Shay walked over to her desk chair and plopped back into it. Olivia followed her sister into the dorm room and shook her head in amazement. Seeing Shay so worked up over something was just incredibly amusing, it didn't happen often but when it did she went all out. "They'll be here Shay, don't worry. Likely they just got stopped in traffic or there was a moose in the road or something. They called when they landed didn't they?" At her question, Shay nodded so Olivia continued, "Well then, cheer up and finish getting ready." Shay hissed at her twin but did as she was ordered. Couldn't go out on the town looking like a school girl now could she?
*****
Tovah stood watching her brother as he primped in front of the mirror. "You're going out to the club with complete strangers and you're worrying how you look?" she asked with a raised eyebrow when he finally noticed her watching him.
Watching his younger sister for a moment River thought of how best to try and explain to her his reasoning. After a moment he just said simply, "Its best to make a good first impression even if I will never see these people again. I don't want Shay to be ashamed to call me her friend and if I go looking like some hobo I just don't think that'd go over well."
How River could be so friendly, trusting and outgoing was beyond Tovah but she didn't try to contradict him. All she did was shrug and make her way out to their livingroom and flopped onto the couch where she was going over the next day's lesson plan for her gymnastics class. The kids were only seven and eight but they were fairly advanced for their age and she wanted to try something a little special tomorrow.
She was just about finished and River had finally come out of his bedroom when there was a knock on the door. She looked from the door to her brother and and asked, "You gonna get it? It's likely Logan." River just smiled to his sister and went to answer the door.

Sebastian grumbled at his cousin's back as they walked down the hall to Shay's dorm room, the appointed pick up place. "You just had to stop for that moose, didn't you? And then you just had to get out of the car and take pictures of it, didn't you? Which pissed it off. Which caused us to speed down the road and that caused us to be pulled over. And then you couldn't find the hotel and then the hotel room. I don't know why I trusted you with the driving."
Rowan looked over his shoulder. "You know you love me, Seb. I had to make you come out here. You were practically chained to your desk and drinking gallons of coffee. Admit it, Seb, you are enjoying yourself."
"Yes, Rowan, watching that moose chase you back to the car was very entertianing." Seb stopped at the door marked 425 and knocked. "Ladies, We're here and I've let Rowan off his leash for the night so lets go!"
***
Logan grinned as he ushered Lily into River's apartment. He waved to Tovah and then followed River into his bedroom. "You look fine, River, Shay and Olivia will hardly care what you look like. They are going to be all over their cousin and older brother. Apparently they are the fun sort of guys that always get into trouble."
Lily flopped onto the couch and smiled at Tovah. She'd met the girl a few times due to her tendancy to follow Logan around. "Hey, Tovah, hows it going? How are you classes?"

Glaring at her reflection in the mirror above her dresser, Shay stabbed the second of her hair sticks into her hair and glared it into submission. When the messy bun didn't budge, even after shaking her head hard a time or two, Shay finally smiled. Coming out of the bathroom she saw her sister watching her with amusement. Glaring again she demanded, "And just what is so funny Livvie?"
The red-head smirked at her black haired sister and teased, "You act like you're getting ready for some hot date even though its only our brother and our cousin. I thought you went out clubbing on a regular basis Shay, this is just sad."
Considering her shirt was the only thing Shay had in her hands at the moment, she'd just hauled it out of a drawer to put it on, she lobbed it hard at Olivia. Almost immediately as she did that, Sebastian's voice came through her dorm room door and Shay squealed with excitement. Running to the door, her lack of shirt completely forgotten, she was about to throw it open when Olivia hissed out, "Shay! Shirt!" then tossed it back to Shay. Blushing with embarassment at having almost flashed her brother and cousin, Shay hurriedly pulled her shirt on, flung the door open, then jumped up into the arms of the closest man outside her door and gave him a tight hug.
Olivia, just as excited but quite a bit more composed, came to the door then and smirked at Shay's rare show of affection. Looking to the man not holding her sister Olivia asked, "So Seb, how was the flight? And I"ll ask now what took so long. Poor Shay there was frantic you guys changed your minds and got back on the plane."
*****
After letting Logan and Lily into the apartment, River headed straight for his bedroom again. He just needed to grab up his wallet and coudln't help taking one last look in the mirror. When he did, and when Logan told him he looked fine, River just raised an eyebrow at the other man. When Logan continued to talk, and explained that Shay and Olivia's relatives were the fun, trouble making sort he relaxed a bit and laughed, "Well if they're anything like you Logan I'm sure we'll get along fine. I just don't want them thinking we're not good enough to hang out with the girls and get all protective or something." Having grabbed his wallet, River grabbed his shoes as well and headed out to the livingroom to finish getting ready.
When Lily flopped down on the couch next to her, Tovah resisted the urge to raise an eyebrow and just waited to see what the other girl had to say. It didn't take Lily long to attempt small talk and Tovah, being the responsible hostess that she was, felt obligated to actually be polite and answer. "Well my college classes aren't going overly well, i get too distracted. The gymnastics classes I teach though are going great. They're part of what distracts me from my college stuff..."
After saying that, Tovah realized she'd actually opened up a bit, had given more than a two or three word answer, and immediately went back to studying her lesson plan. Luckily just then River reimerged from his bedroom with Logan in tow.
Seeing Tovah completely flustered, River asked Lily, "So Lily, are you ready for whatever the girls have planned for us? They haven't even told me and Shay and I are rather close..." Then with a smirk he added, "Of course, she -has- been rather scatterbrained lately. The closer it got to today the more distracted she got."

Rowan stumbled back a few feet under the weight of his cousin's sudden attack. "Hello Shay. Glad to see you as well. You too, Livvy." he said while peering over Shay's shoulder and into the dorm room.
Sebastian smiled at Olivia. "Oh, the flight was just fine. That one," he said while nodded his head towards Rowan, "gets airsick so he drugged himself up on motion sickness pills and was out for the entire flight. I got work done. And then I made the mistake of letting him drive. Ever see Rowan get chased by a large, angry mammel? He decided to take pictures of a moose. We were pulled over by the cops. He couldn't find the hotel."
Sebastian watched as Rowan pried Shay off of his body. "It was most amusing."
Rowan glared at Sebastian over Shay's head. "You're just jealous that you didn't get some great shots of that moose. Come on ladies, I got us on the VIP list for one the clubs. Oh, and you two will be needing these. Tell anyone else and you are dead after I raise from the deaf from being killed by your mother." Rowan reached into the back pocket of his pants and handed two plastic retangles to his cousin. "Use those wisely."
Sebastian sighed. "I still connot believe you hacked your mother's computer system to create false IDs for your cousin and my sister. And I can't believe that I'm letting you do this."
***
Logan smirked at River. From what Olivia had told him, her relatives generally generated trouble instead of just being involved in it. "Shay says she only gets along with me because I have some aspect of her cousin in me. Like a smidgen, thats what she says anyways. So, we should do just fine. Come on, River, lets get out of here. Syn has managed to wiggle us onto the VIP list."
Lily smiled at Tovah, well aware of her shy but not stand-off-ish personality, and just let her talk. When the boys came into the living room, Lily tilted her head back and smirked at River. "I can take whatever they dish out. It's just after midterms and I want to party." Lily stood and stretched, the hem of her shirts lifting up to expose her tummy. "I'm nice and loose, River, so you are gonna dance with me before I turn you loose on the crowd of people."

When Rowan started to pry her off of him, Shay let go and slid to the floor but she still couldn't restrain her excitement and she was practically bouncing. At Sebastian's mention of Rowan getting chased by a moose, and Rowan admitting it was to get pictures of said moose, Shay started to bounce even more. They'd have to compare moose pictures later!
In the mean time, when Rowan forked over two fake ID's Olivia just looked at Rowan and asked, "And what would I want one of those for anyway?" Shay on the other hand, snagged hers out of Rowan's hand, an evil grin plastered on her face, and kissed Rowan soundly on the mouth exclaiming, "I knew you were the worlds best cousin!"
*****
Tovah was more than pleased when Lily got up off the couch, she even managed a small smile by way of farewell as the trio headed for the door. River couldn't help but smirk at his sister. He loved her, not matter what, but there were some things about her that he just didn't understand.
At Lily's declaration for her need to party and her demand for a dance with him, RIver answered warmly, "Of course sweet Lily, I could never deny you a dance." As he said this he sauntered over to her, demand for a dance with him, RIver answered warmly, "Of course sweet Lily, I could never deny you a dance." As he said this he slung an arm about her shoulder and gave her a squeeze. Then he turned to Logan and nodded towards the door as he said more seriously, "Lets get going, don't wanna keep the birthday girls waiting."
Waiting for Logan and Lily to preceed him through the door, River turned back to face Tovah and said to her softly, "Have a nice peaceful night. If you need anything I'll have my cell. I probably won't hear it because of the music but I'll call you when I get a message okay? You know if its an emergency to call the club."
Tovah just raised an eyebrow at her brother and answered, "Riv, I've stayed home by myself at night for years, this won't be aby different. Have fun and don't wake me up when you come in. Unlike Lily, I still have one midterm to study for once I'm done with this lesson plan." That said, she smirked at her brother's sheepish grin and then went back to her work. River shut the door and scampered down the stairs to catch up with his friends.

Sebastian looked from the evilly grinning Shay and then two the smirking Rowan. "You get one, Olivia, in order to keep an eye on that one," he said while pointing to Shay. "It will be your job to make sure she doesn't go crazy."
Rowan sighed. All they were doing was talking and standing around in a dorm hallway. "Seb, we flew here, must I remind you of the six hours on the plane, not to stand around in ahallway but to take these ladies out for a good time. Standing in the hallway does not equal a good time. Now, can we please get going? I only have the weekend here and then I must return to the music class from hell." Rowan turned to Shay and tossed an arm across her shoulders. "You wouldn't believe some of the intermedate violin students I have this year. There's this one who carries his violin case around like a suitcase. I actually whimper whenever I see him stuff his violin in that case." Rowan spoke while he herded the girls out of the hallway, towards the door.
Sebastain, after making sure that someone had keys to the room, closed the door, tossed his arm around Olivia's shoulders and looked at the two strolling down the hallway. "I suppose we should follow the two nut jobs, make sure they don't get arrested and all that. Besides, I want to know more about this Logan guy. You sounded so interested in the last conversation we had." -------- Logan eyed the line in front of the club and then glanced around the street. The moment he found the dark colored SUV parked on the side of the road, Logan bounced right on over. He knocked on the tinted window and then leaned against the door while the window rolled down.
"Get one fingerprint on my baby and you won't be able to move for a week. I just had her waxed." Syn glared at the man leaning on her car. "I will not be able to join you tonight. A lead came up in one of my colder cases. I want this one solved. I did, however, make the bouncers aware that you three will be gaining entry under my name. Now, shoo."
Logan thanked Syn and went back over to his group of friends. "Come along. Syn isn't joining us but she still got us on the VIP list." Logan pulled the two along behind him and walked right up to the bouncers. Ignoring the noise made by the people waiting in line, Logan rattled off the information and thanked the bouncer who let them through the velvet rope.
Lily giggled and bobbed her head at the people yelling at them. Life was great when her brother's friends had connections. Once they were inside the club, Lily bounced up to the bar and ordered a round of beers. "So, Logan, when are these friends of yours supposed to show up?"
"Sooner or later."

((ooc: after many sad pathetic attempts at starting this -and failing miserably- here is my response.... finally.... *cringes*))
Olivia had to resist the urge to snicker at Sebastian's reasoning for why she too had been presented with a fake ID for her birthday. It was actually very sound reasoning if Olivia went out with Shay all the time, the thing was it was a fairly rare occurrence. When Sebastian asked about the guy she had mentioned the last time she'd spoken with him on the phone, Olivia did snicker. "Shay has it in her head that she's some grand match maker. Logan is one of her friends and a sweet guy, totally not my type though."
Sauntering out of the dorm building, her cousin's arm draped on her shoulder, Shay knew she got some confused looks and she just smiled and smirked. Everybody knew that Shay was single yet here she was with a very sexy man hanging off of her, rumors would be all over campus by tomorrow afternoon! If only they all knew that Rowan was her cousin, they might either be more worried by just how affectionate they were being, or they might be relieved that he was -only- her cousin. Listening to Rowan relate his horror stories about his students, Shay laughed and cringed and just generally enjoyed having her best friend back.
When the foursome got out to the parking lot, Shay blurted out over her shoulder at Sebastian, "So Sebby, you guys driving or do we gotta take the bus? Its not far but parking tends to suck." As she waited for her brother's answer, Shay pointed out a few of the scenic things around the dorm to Rowan and chattered on about different photo's she'd managed to get of them.
*****
River had waited with Lily as Logan had gone off to talk with Syn. He didn't know the woman as well as Logan did by any means but he liked her all the same. When Logan came back and announced that Syn wouldn't be joining the party that night, River was a little dissappointed and he knew that at least Shay would be too. The girl sort of idolized Syn, she said that Syn was a lot like her cousin Rowan. River wasn't sure what that meant but he knew he'd be finding out since Rowan was one of the guys coming to the party tonight with Livvie and Shay. Apparently the other one was one of their older half brothers, Sebastian.
Following Logan up to the club doors, through the velvet rope, and inside River tried not to fidget with his shirt. It was a bad habit and it only surfaced when he was nervous about meeting somebody new. Looking around the club as he waited with the others, River was the first one to spot a very bubbly Shay bouncing in through the doors. Elbowing Logan, and taking a beer from Lily, River gestured with his head and told them both, "They're here."
Being first inside, Shay was also the first to see Logan and River, and a girl who was sitting with them. Turning back to her siblings and cousin, Shay shouted, "They beat us!" then she scampered off and tackled Logan on sight. Overly excited she asked in a rush, "So have you guys been here long?"
More calmly but just as excited to see their friends, Olivia eventually made her way after Shay. Seeing as Logan was otherwise occupied by a armful of Shay, Olivia turned her smile to River, who smiled back, then she asked the girl she didn't recognize, "I'm Olivia, Shay's twin, who're you?" She knew the boys were behind them, they'd taken care of the coats, and she knew that when they arrived she'd likely have to make introductions as Shay was even spazzier than normal...

Lily watched as Logan was tackled, falling back into his chair. "Well, that was amusing," she said to no one in particular before turing to the girl who resembled the tackler. "I'm Lily, Logan's younger sister. Do you think we should pull them apart or something?"
Logan pushed Shay away from him and smiled at her. "Yes, we beat you here. Now, Lady, where are these relatives of yours and could you please get off of me? My back doesn't appreciate being shoved into the chair." ---- Sebastian, after taking care of the coats, went over to the girls while dragging Rowan along behind him. He stopped a few feet away and watched as Shay clung to the man she'd tackled. In a way it was nice to know that he and Rowan weren't the only ones that she tackled. He just watched while Shay and Livvy made introductions and when Rowan dragged Shay out to the dance floor, to "give the birthday girl a birthday dance before other people stole his Shay away from him."
Seb turned to the others and smirked. "Please ignore him, he tends to forget that there are other people around. That and he spends his week with small children who mistreat violins. This is his escape. It's quite pathetic really." Sebastian glanced around the small grouping, taking the time to let his eyes linger on the two men. They were here with his baby sisters after all and he needed to make sure that they weren't up to no good.
They were both decent looking men and he let himself indulge in the looking. He'd always admired other guys, thinking that some were even good looking, but he never really thought about it. The one that had been introduced as River though, he looked like an interesting person.

Olivia was still smirking at Shay's tackling of poor Logan when the girl she didn't know introduced herself as Lily and asked if she thought they should pull them apart. With a soft laugh she answered, "Naw, she's just excited tonight and more spazzy than normal. She'll leave him alone in a minute." And as if on cue, Shay un-tackled Logan and just beamed a smile at him before walking over and hugging River too, though not nearly so enthusiastically.
River returned Shay's quick hug with a tight squeeze of his own and then watched as she practically bounced over to the two men who had finally joined the group and sidled up to the redhead. When Olivia finally made the introductions, as Shay was chattering away with the redhead, he discovered that the redhead was their cousin Rowan and the one with dark hair was their older half brother Sebastian. He smiled and nodded politely to both men and then watched in amazement as Rowan and Shay made their way to the dance floor where they started enjoying the music maybe a little too much. Where cousins supposed to be that... affectionate?
His eyebrow was raised in curiosity when out of the corner of his eye he caught Sebastian looking him over. Was the man interested in him? Or just watching him to see if he got jealous over how Rowan was dancing with Shay? Not quite knowing what to say to the man, he asked the first thing that popped into his mind, "Are those two always that touchy feely?" He said it with a good hearted tone and with an amused look on his face.
Olivia too had been watching Shay and Rowan and she just shook her head. Before Sebastian could answer, she did, "Yes they are. You should see him and our older sister Lani though its even worse." She couldn't help but smirk at the mental image of the last time she'd seen those two on a dance floor. Only the people closest to the two hadn't averted their eyes because to everybody else it had looked like they were about ready to jump each other and go at it right on the dance floor. It had been Lani's last dance with Rowan before she and Gareth had gone off to Europe with their theatre troupe.

Seb leaned against the bar, arms propped up on the edge, and shook his head. Those two were absolutely insane, he thought as he watched Rowan and Shay. He was the one who was supposed to be responisble tonight, at least until he got Shay and Livvy back to their dorm room and Rowan back to his hotel room. After that, he was going out for a long night on the town, he needed to figure some things out and it just felt right to do it in a place where his family, or people who knew his family, couldn't be found around every corner.
Seb grinned a the one introduced as River and sidled over to him. "Rowan is like the fun big brother who teachs his younger sisters things they don't need to know."
Logan groaned and bent backwards and forwards to try and ease the strain out of his back. Shay, always exurbrant, had just tackled him. He scowled at her while she dragged his cousin out to the dance floor and sighed. There would be no dancing for him for a while. He glanced around, ordered a drink and settled on a stool for the time being.
Lily glanced around the club. She'd never been in this one before. It was okay. It was always odd for the first few minutes when meeting a group of another person's friends. She'd expected her brothers friends to be different this this. And that Shay girl, she looked like a very interesting person. Lily sighed and leaned against the bar after ordering a coke. Someone had to remain responible tonight.

River couldn't help but smile when Sebastian made his way over to stand beside him to talk. When Sebastian tried to explain Rowan and Shay's relationship, he laughed and asked, "Well since you're her older brother, why aren't you the one teaching her things she shouldn't know? Or will you be dancing with her like that later?" His eyebrow was raised as he asked this last question then another crossed his mind and he asked, "Or do you not dance?" He couldn't help but give the other man a quick once-over and thinking how nice it would be to dance with him...
Olivia was still next to Lily when she noticed the other woman looking around a bit uncomfortably. She wasn't exactly at home in the crowded club either so she leaned in closer to her and asked, "Since the boys are all being party-poopers, why don't we go out and dance with those two? I know they're a bit crazy together but they'll calm down if we join them." She had the sudden urge to dance and in all honesty she didn't have the guts to ask Logan to dance and Seb and River looked rather absorbed in each other though she could tell neither of them wanted the other one to notice. Men were so strange...

"I'm not dancing with her like that because I am her big brother. He's just the insigator. He is also the over protective one. I'm the serious, responsible one. I own my own car, my own condo, and I have a savings account. I don't spend the weekends in a drunk haze and so on. That's him. He's the one who got the smart idea to use his mother's state of the art computer system to make them fake IDs" Sebastian said before turning around and ordering a double rum and coke. He grinned and flashed his ID at the young woman behind the bar when she asked. He then turned back to River. "I don't dance like that, " he motioned to the two out on the dance floor, "But I do dance. Also, I'm not drunk enough for that yet."
Sebastian grinned. He'd seen the glancing look. And he'd danced with other men. In his home town, it was sometimes unavoidable on a crowded dance floor. In other towns, when he was gone for business trips, he'd purposefully danced with other men. He'd missed that whole curious, experimentation stage in college due to the fact that his father taught at the university he'd attended.
Lily blinked at the other girl, the one who sat next to her, and then glanced out at the dance floor. She recognized half the students out on the dance floor. None of them would probably believe that Nerdly Lily would actually be able to dance. Nerdly Lily was only a mask she hide behind.
Lily grabbed a hold of Olivia's arm and dragged her out to the dance floor. She wanted to dance and she only knew these people. "I'll take you up on that idea. I need a break."
Logan watched as Lily dragged people out onto the dance floor. Sebastian and River were making small talk. And poor, little, Logan was all alone. He quickly glanced around, looking to see if Grace had appeared. This was her type of place to hold court with her high fashion, from money friends. Logan tilted his head back, groaning with the motion tweaked the sore muscles down his spine. Damn Shay's habit of pouncing.

He danced! That's all River needed to know at this point. Especially since Sebastian said he needed to be drunk before he'd dance. Maybe, just maybe, once Sebastian was drunk enough to dance he wouldn't care who his dance partner was... If it was in his nature to purr, River likely would have been at those thoughts.
Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately..., River was anything but feline so instead of purring he smiled even broader and teased the other man, "Well then for Olivia and Shay's sake, we better get you drunk. I'm sure your sisters want a dance with you on their birthday."
As he spoke with Sebastian, River only vaguely registered that Olivia and Lily had wandered off onto the dance floor to join the other two. After a moment it actually hit him and he looked around them and frowned. "Just you and us left Logan? We must be slacking if all the pretty girls ran out onto the dance floor without us!" The last was said with a smirk then he turned back to Sebastian and asked, "Are you sure you're not drunk enough to dance? Cuz if you're not I'm just going to have to go fill in for you and dance with your lovely sisters."
*****
Olivia hadn't been expecting the enthusiastic reply she'd gotten from Lily, so when she was dragged off of her seat she couldn't help but let out a squeak of surprise. She also couldn't help smiling. A girl after her own heart! How refreshing. Knowing she wasn't the only one feeling the way she was, made Olivia very happy. And she relaxed quite a bit too.
Once they reached Rowan and Shay, Olivia cut in between the duo and asked Rowan in a playful tone, "Care for some company?" It wasn't so much a question as her inviting herself and Lily to join the other two as they danced. When he didn't object, Olivia grabbed Lily and dragged her over with them.

Sebastian rolled his head around on his neck and glanced at River. "I'm just fine to dance with them. I'm not drunk enough to dance with you yet. If that happens tonight, or at any point in the next three days, it will be you and me at a different club without my family tagging along." Seb grinned at him and then turned to look at his siblings. "Besides, they don't want to dance with me. I'm the boring one. Out of all my siblings, I'm the one who was the teacher's pet. And Shay scares me with her dancing."
Seb reached back for his drink. "So, River, what do you say we loose these guys later tonight and go out dancing, just the two of us?" He knew he was acting out of character but he was in a strange town where no one really knew him. He could act out of character. There were no bosses, no co-workers and no family members, minus the ones out of the dance floor, so he felt a little freer to induge in those very odd urges to dance with other men.
***
Lily blinked as she was dragged over to dance with the other two already out on the dance floor. She kept to edges, moving with the music, arms up in the air and happily bumping against the people around her. As the night grew later, more people crowded onto the dance floor, which resulted in a lot of hot bodies swaying into each other. Lily loved being the middle of it.
She angled herself towards some random woman, one who'd been making 'come hither' eyes at her, and grinned. It seemed this night was getting better and better.

River was still smirking when Sebastian answered him in a way most unexpected and he couldn't help the fact that his eyes had widened in surprise. He was actually very lucky his jaw hadn't dropped open in sheer and utter amazement. The look of shock didn't linger in River's eyes for very long though and with a warm smile he answered Sebastian, "This club was Shay's choice for where to have her party. I'll take you to my favorite later if you'd like."
While he may have appeared calm and collected on the outside, on the inside River was doing a very engergetic happy dance. The last thing he had expected to come of Shay and Olivia's party was for him to go dancing with their older brother, or anybody really, so he wasn't going to object at all. In fact, he had a feeling of dread that Shay and Olivia would never go home and he would never get his chance to dance with Sebastian.
*****
Livvie was lost in the music and the dance that she had stolen with Rowan. This left Shay free to dance with anybody and everybody surrounding them. When she saw Logan's sister, Lily if she remembered right, move off to dance with another woman her attention was snagged. Lily liked to dance with women? Logan had never told her that. Of course, he'd never really talked about Lily all that much anyway except to say she was a bit of a bookworm.
When Lily's back was to her, Shay made her way over to where she was dancing with the other woman and started dancing right along. When Lily turned around, Shay smiled warmly and at her and watched eagerly for her reaction. For some reason she really wanted to be encouraged, normally she didn't care that much who she danced with but the other girl was there for her and Livvie's party, she didn't feel much like sharing. And Lily was nice to look at to boot. She hadn't noticed earlier because she'd been so excited, but now she had plenty of time to notice as she watched the other woman dance.

Seb continued to grin at River while he loosened the top buttons on his dress shirt. His part in the trip out to visit his sisters had been completely spontanous and he'd skipped out of work early. He'd already chucked his suit jacket and tie but the shirt remain. As it had been "Casual Friday" at the office, he was wearing a very nice, if slightly tight, pair of jeans. Seb pulled the shirt free of his waistband and flicked open the cuffs. "If you'll just excuse me for a moment."
Seb skipped out to the coat check and handed the shirt over. Used being handed strange things, the girl behind the counter just shrugged and handed a ticket to Seb. He returned to the bar, and to River, wearing the sleeveless black undershirt, commonly known as a wifebeater, he wore under his dress shirts. "So, River, when do you think we can ditch them? It will probably have to wait until Rowan is ready to go. I have his hotel room key. Boy can't be trusted."

With a raised eyebrow, River watched as Sebastian excused himself and then wove his way through the crowd back toward the entrance to the club. He lost sight of him shortly after the other man made it off the dance floor so River turned his attention back to the group making a scene out on the dance floor. His friends and their cousin were very very insane....
He was still watching them when he heard Sebastian's voice next to his ear and he jumped slightly. The loud music and press of bodies made the club a perfect place to get snuck up on and he sorta thought that Sebatian had done it on purpose.
Turning to the other man, River smiled in response to his question and then answered, "Give the key to Logan or Lily, they'll see the girls and Rowan home safely." Oh how he wanted to go somewhere else, then he'd finally be able to do some dancing of his own rather than just watching.
Only after he had spoken, and the shock from being surprised had worn off, did River have a chance to notice that Sebastian had considerably more skin showing. The sight of the man in that black wife-beater and the form fitting jeans, which he hadn't really noticed before thanks to the button down shirt, was quite a sight. If he had been a cat he likely would have started purring but since he wasn't he just leaned took a nice long look. River didn't even bother to hide his appreciation for the sight before him and when he looked back up at Sebastian he added, "Please, just give somebody Rowan's key."

Seb smirked at the almost desperate tone in River's voice. "Now, the poor coat check girl is going to think I'm insane. First I give her my shirt and then I ask for it back. We'll leave a little later, once those three and far enough out of it not to notice me leaving with you."
Seb patted River's cheek and slinked out onto the dance floor. He hooked an arm around Olivia's waist and spun her around. "Hello Little sister." He did the same to Shay. "Hello other little sister. Happy Birthday."
Seb danced, letting the stress of the work week slide off his shoulders. He purposefully teased River from the dance floor. By this point the floor was crowded and no one really knew who was dancing with who so Seb bumped up against other men. He stopped every once in a while to drink from his siblings drinks.
Once he was sure that the others wouldn't notice, Seb walked over to Logan, handed him the keycard to Rowan's room and told him to make sure that the man got there safely. He then walked over to River, hooked a finger into the waistband of his pants and tugged. "Time to leave."

River smiled at Sebastian's comment about the coat check girl then he laughed when he mentioned waiting till his relatives were too out of it to notice him leaving. When Sebastian then wound his way through the crowd to his sisters, River watched and smiled even more.
Shay and Livvie were both rather absorbed in the music and to suddenly have their big brother slipping his arms around their waists and spinning them around made them both scream and then laugh. The girls happily danced with their brother before he moved off to dance with random people on the dance floor and as soon as he left them they both went back to the dance partners they'd had before he'd stolen them away from them.
River probably could have rejoined Sebastian and the others on the dance floor but instead he stayed by the sidelines and watched. He saw Sebastian scare his sisters, saw them laugh and happily dance with their brother, and then watched as the man left the girls and slowly started making his way around the dance floor. Watching Sebastian dance with other men made River want to leave even more badly than before and when he saw that he was on his way back over to him, River smiled at him.
Only, Sebastian didn't walk to him, he walked to Logan. He saw the two men talking and saw Sebastian hand over what looked like a hotel room key and his smile widened. Finally, when Sebastian walked over to him, hooked a finger in the waistband of his jeans and tugged, River's eyes flew wide. At Sebastian's words, his grin got a little wicked. It was about time!
"More than ready," he answered only slightly eagerly. He didn't even look back at his friends as he and Sebastian made their way towards the door. Once they'd gotten their coats, and Sebastian's other shirt, the two slipped out of the club into the cool night air and River pointed them in the direction of the club he wanted to take Sebastian to. It was a few blocks away and an easy walk.

Sebastian walked next to River, loose hipped and enjoying the cold night air. He was still just wearing his undershirt. His shirt and jacket were tossed over his shoulder, hooked by two fingers. He, once they were out of range of the club, let one arm settle around River's waist. He slipped the hand of that arm into the back pocket of River's jeans.
"So, exactly where is this club that we are going to?" Outside of area's populated by his family, Sebastian was quite open about his joy in the male body. He liked the male body. He only hid it from his family. Oh, he knew that they'd be more then accepting of if, given various members of his family. He just didn't feel the need to tell them yet. It was liking admiting it fully.
When River steered him into a club and tossed his clothing at the girl behind the coat check counter, Sebastian grinned. He took a quick glance around before pulling River towards the crowded dance floor. The drinks he'd sipped from at the other club had loosened him up just enough to act on impulse.
