Teeth: Straight and White
Height: 5’11”

He usually swims and practices his sword work or martial arts in the morning and runs in the evening. Even if he somehow misses his normal exercises, he tries to do something physical during his day.
Clothing Style: Josif prefers to wear casual clothing and can often be found in in jeans and untucked button down shirts and barefoot. He has clothing for formal occasions, both mortal events and ceremonies for his deity, but he’ll wear them for only as long as he needs to. In addition to his piercings, Josif only wears two other pieces of jewelry. He wears his clan’s signet ring on his right pinky and Helios’ ring on his left middle finger.
Tattoos: One tattoo; the clan’s crest done in red and gold on his right shoulder blade. Directly below that, done in the same colors and written in the Greek alphabet is the name of his lover.
Piercings: Two, one in his left eyebrow and one in his right ear. He wears discreet ruby studs in both.
Scars: No major scars. He still bears the marks from the beatings his father dealt him in his youth but the scars are faded and hard to find now.
Personality
Though he has a somewhat laid back appearance, it would be foolish to assume that Josif is an easy going guy. Place of Residence: In addition to the family estates on the Island of Rhodes and in Corinth, Josif has the apartments he shares with Helios on Mount Othrys, flats in Athens and London. He’s recently taken a lease out on a house in Cedar Valley, WA in order to be closer to family members who’ve settled there.
History
Born as the second son to Angelos and Diamanto, Josif was largely ignored in his infancy. He was the insurance policy if something happened to his older brother. The nurses and tutors who looked after him indulged him as his parents seemed to overlook the boy. He was a bright child who often got into trouble. His father’s punishments were harsh, often resulting in beatings, but Angelos never took it too far. Though, Angelos’ definition of too far would be vastly different from others.
Josif left home at age 18 to live in the Alati residential communities on Mount Othrys. There, he served Helios by assisting the advocates in recruiting new members. He had a gift for languages and picked them up easily. He could translate between the advocates and recruits from foreign countries. In his spare time, Josif studied languages and documents from different countries across the world.
In 1183 A.D., his relationship with his deity changed. Helios had gotten ahold of copies of the stories of the gods of India. Except they were written in Sanskrit and he couldn’t decipher that language. After some searching, Helios found Josif living in the bowels of the residential complex, placed there by the complex’s prejudiced manager, and engaged the man to translate the documents. After waiting, impatiently, for a few weeks Helios again ventured down to see if Josif had made any progress. What he found was Josif ill from the conditions of living down in the sublevels of the complex. Levels that were normally used for storage and to house fallen Alati.
Angered that anyone could be treated in such a way, Helios had the feverish Josif moved to his apartments in the complex where the Titans and their most loyal pledges lived. Helios pushed his way into Josif’s life. Despite having female consorts and lovers, Helios found that he wanted the young Alati. He just had to convince the man that the affection and attraction could be mutual.
It took a year but eventually, Helios had Josif right where he wanted him as his lover. They only had a few months together before all hell broke loose in Josif’s family home. In only bloody nigh, Josif’s parents, his older brother and his brother’s wife, along with a healthy portion of those dependent on the family, had their wings ripped off. As the eldest, Josif took over as leader of the clan and has done his best to hold his fractured family together.
