Dion rolled her shoulders as Tobin's hand settled on one. She was irriated, to say the least. She eased up, slightly, on the sai at Rhystic's neck but kept the lower one in place. Dion growled and rolled her eyes at her husband. "I'm not going to kill him, I'm just going to turn him into a eunuch." Dion rolled her shoulders again and leaned forward. She was still seeing red and it was probable that the only way to get her to back off was to physically remove her from the room.
Dion twitched at all the emotions and glanced downwards to see Rowan baring his teeth at Rhystic. It calmed her a little, having not known the original reason for all the outbursts, but she still kept her focus on her brother-in-law.
All she really wanted was some peace and quite.
***
Demeter patted Saiyuri on the shoulder absently and growled when she saw Rowan get away from Nikolas and move forward to grab him. She missed and hissed when Rowan went to stand next to his aunt. She really hated extended family gatherings sometimes.

Tobin rubbed Dion's shoulders lightly, still mindfull of Saiyuri's displeasure. He rubbed to clam her as much as he can, dropping his head forward to leave a kiss on the back of her neck, speaking softly now. "And as much as I'd love to let you, my father would be very upset, and he's already sick enough to warrant Rhy's presense in the first place." He tugged her shoulders towards him lightly, just to see if she would back off. "I'll leave with him as soon as you release him. That way he can't cause anymore trouble."
Tobin hadn't noticed Rowan's appearance until that moment, but he wasn't worried about the boy's safety. Not even Rhystic was sadistic or stupid enough to harm a child, an innocent. He leveled another glare at his brother, speaking to him for the first time since the whole rucus started. "And you're lucky I'm and Angel of -Mercy- and just as concerned about our father." A tinge of a growl in his words.
***
Rhystic took a deep breath, now able to do so without mistakenly slitting his own throat. Tobin hadn't succeeded in getting Dion to back off fully, but by his sickening display of affection Rhy could tell he was trying. He huffed lightly at hearing it was all for the sake of their father, as he had expected, and was relieved when Tobin tried to pull her back, hinting that she should back off.
He grumbled as Tobin directed his comments toward him, hissing a reply back. "And I never understood how you ended up with an Angel of Death of all the other mixed breeds your could have chosen from. And such a blood thirsty -bitch- of an Angel of Death at that."
***
Nikolas caught his pocket knife, flicking it closed before he tried to readjust Rowan on his hip. Unfortunately the boy was squirming far too much, and Niko was forced to set him down. As soon as he had done so, Rowan was off through the group of people standing around the room. He grumbled as he was unable to get to him, but started to snicker as he watched him bare his teeth at Rhy. It was saying something when you even made a five year old furious on top of everyone else in the room.

The instant Dominic heard Rhystic calling Dion an Angel of Death, he headed for the door. He needed to get out of here, just to clear his head. He knew Saiyuri would be okay, if nothing else, her mother would defend her. He didn't look at anybody as he left, he didn't want them to see just how scared he was.
Once outside, Dominic didn't stop walking until he had reached the street. Then, once he had crossed it, every curse word or phrase he knew started pouring out of his mouth as he tried to get a handle on just what in the Hell had happened in there.
~~~~~
Only as she felt a breeze did Saiyuri look in the direction her husband had been, just in time to see his back dissappearing out the back door. Shrugging a bit in surprise she turned her attention back to the scene in front of her. As she did so, her eyes alighted on Rowan. When had he gotten there she wondered.
Only when her eyes got back to her mother, Tobin tryin to pull her off of Rhystic did Rhystic's words begin to sink in. She blinked curiously, her head tilting to one side as she stared at her mother. Her wings sagged a bit and her claws began to retract. An Angel of Death? If she had such a big loving family that couldn't be all bad could it?
Then, as her wingtips brushed the floor, Saiyuri realized just what she'd done, what she'd been about to do. "Oh shit..." she whispered under her breath, not even knowing she'd said anything. No wonder Dominic had left. She staggered as the implications of just what she was hit her. Even though she had stepped away from Demeter she still wound up bumping into her as she tried to back away from Dion, Rhystic, and what she herself had nearly done.
~~~~~
Once Rowan saw his Uncle Tobin pulling his Aunty Dion off of the bad man, he leapt at his chance. In an instant the little boy was latched onto the bad man's leg. He'd used his fangs in play and out of fear but very rarely did he use them for concious aggression. Earlier when he'd bitten Niko had been nothing. Rowan sank his fangs into the man's thigh and bit down until he tasted blood and then bit harder. The bad man had upset his whole family, he needed to be taught better.

Dion growled at the words Rhystic said and hissed. Oh, she knew she could be a bitch at times but that wasn't what she was angry about. she'd been hoping to ease Saiyuri into the whole Angel of Death thing. And now Rhystic, with his big mouth, had gone and spilled the beans about her profession.
Dion wriggled away from Tobin and lunged for Rhystic. He had...How dare he step into something that was none of his business. Dion stopped herself inches from Rhystic's face and growled. "Get him out of here, Tobin, before I wipe the floor with his ass."
Dion forced herself backwards several steps but she couldn't stop the cackle she voiced when Rowan sank his fangs into Rhystic's thigh. She stayed nearby, though, in case Rhystic did something to hurt the boy. And then it wouldn't be her who threatened to maim him. Demeter would be on him like a cat with a meaty peice of flesh.
***
Demeter squeaked, something completey undignifed at the moment, and stumbled back a few paces when Saiyuri bumped into her. After regaining her balance, Demeter glanced around and settled her gaze on her son.
Demeter just raised an eyebrow when Rowan bit Rhystic. It was one of the few times he did so unprovocted. She just smirked.

Tobin growled at Rhy when he called Dion a bitch, and the fact that he had opened his big mouth about Dion being an Angel of Death. In his anger he had unconciously loosened his grip on Dion's shoulders, allowing her to wiggle free. He let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding when Dion managed to stop herself.
He reacted as soon as Rowan reliquished his hold on Rhy's leg, his hand darting out and he catching Rhy by the front of his shirt, yanking him away from the cabinets and hurling him towards the door. Behind him in an instant, Tobin gave him a final shove toward the door. He made sure he was fully back into his human form before he reached the door.
***
Rhystic slammed himself back against the cabinets and threw his hands up to defend himself, but stopped himself when Dion decided not to attempt to kill him. He growled, but it ended in a yelp as he was yanked forward by the collar and practically thrown toward the door. He kept his balance, of course, stumbling toward the hall. He spun on his brother and growled, ready to throw out a punch, but was shoved back toward the door by his now human looking brother. He caught his balance, taking a deep breath and brushing himself off, regaining his composure before spinning on his heal and walking out the door.
***
Nikolas blinked, watching as his son latched onto Rhystic's leg. He went to move forward, but stopped. He knew Rhy wasn't stupid enough to hit a child, especially when he was surrounded by people who would kill him for it. Niko's lips twitched as he couldn't help but chuckle lightly, hiding behind his hand. When Tobin rather violently shoved Rhystic out the door Nikolas was smirking and gave Rowan a thumbs up.

Though Rowan's mouth was strong for a five year old, he was after all only a five year old and his grip faltered after only a moment or two. Still, the damage had been done. The bite on the bad man's leg could not be mistaken for anything but what it was, a very small pissed off vampire bite. Grinning with pride, Rowan looked to his father just in time to see the thumbs up sign he was given. This caused the boy to grin even more broadly, a little bit of blood still showing on his fangs. Turning to his mother to see if he'd done the right thing, he saw her giving him a strange smile. It wasn't as obvious approval as what Niko had given him but she wasn't glaring at him so he must have been okay to do it. He had just run to his mother when Uncle Tobin shoved the bad man out of the kitchen. Rowan hissed as they passed, then turned to cuddle against his mother's legs.
~~~~~
After Saiyuri had bumped into Demeter, she had just kept backing away until her wings bumped up against the wall farthest from what was going on. Feeling the wall, Saiyuri leaned into it and slouched down to the floor. Somehow she managed to not sit in her wings but it didn't matter as they quickly shifted away anyway once she was seated.
Pulling her knees up to her chest, as best she could with her growing belly in the way, Saiyuri leaned her forhead on her knees and closed her eyes. She was trying desperately to get all the damn images and thoughts in her brain sorted out. She had nearly just castrated a man, with her own...claws of all things. What in the hell was going on? What was she?
Dion leaned forward against the counter and swallowed. Rhystic had just blown her cover, blabbing about angel of death deal. She peered under her shoulder and Saiyuri and released a breathe. The girl look a little bewildered; maybe she hadn't heard. Dion pushed away from the counter and turned around to survery her kitchen. Everyone looked more then a little frazzled and at some point during the recent events Dominic had wandered off. "I think that it is time for bed. For all of us."
She left Demeter to hustle Rowan and Nikolas out of the house and went over to Saiyuri. "Saiyuri, I want you to stay here for the night as I think you are a little more then freaked out, shall we say, about all of this. There's a king size bed downstairs. Lets get you down there."
Dion pulled Saiyuri to her feet and started to herd her towards the basement apartment. Once she got her down the stairs, Dion took a sidetrip to the laundry room to grab one of the ex-large t-shirts she used as nightwear from the dyer. She place it in Saiyuri's hands, unlocked the door to the apartment with the key that was hanging next to the door on the wall and pointed Saiyuri into the place. "Get some rest, we'll talk in the morning." Dion said softly before retreating out of the basement.
She turned into the kitchen and started to clean up. She placed the dirty dishes in the sink, wiped off the counter, locked the back door, and turned off the lights. She wandered into the living room to turn off the lights as well aftering taking care of the candles and lights in the downstairs bathroom. Dion glanced at the couch and whimpered. Maybe she could sit down for just a minute.
Dion padded over to the couch and sat on the couch's cushions, groaning as she sanked into them. She'd just rest her eyes for a moment or two.
***
Demeter blinked and turned to Nikolas. "I think that it is time to go. Um, why don't I give you my phone number and you can call later. To set up a time to come over and play with the ankle biter, that is."
Demeter mumbled to herself while scribbling her phone number down on a napkin. After handing to Nikolas, she swooped down on Rowan and lifted him up. "Come on, biter, it's way past your bedtime." She settled Rowan on her hip, motioned for Nikolas to go ahead of her and exited the house.
Demeter unlocked her car and arranged Rowan into his carseat. After strapping her son in, Demeter stood up and looked over at Nikolas. "Um, I noticed you don't have a car here, would you like a lift home?"
***
Oberon growled as he snapped his phone closed. Sera was still convinced that it was best for her little boy if she went back to the pinhead. Not that she was one but any idiot could see that the pinhead would make a poor father. He glanced at the clock on the dresser and blinked. One in the morning? How had it gotten that late?
Oberon shrugged and opened the door to the spare bedroom. It had been quite for a while now. He tiptoed his way downstairs and mentally grumbled that his mother had forgotten about him. He peered around the dark house and blinked. The curtians to the front window were still open and he could see his mother curled up on the couch. She'd fallen asleep.
Oberon stood in the entryway to the living for a while and stared before crossing over to the couch. He blew out the trio of fat candles on the sidetable and pulled the blanket on the back of the couch down over his mother. He smiled fondly as Dion had become a central part of his life over the past few months, ever since he showed up on her doorstep.
He closed the door after locking the doorknob lock and bounced down the stairs. He eased his car out of the line of cars and headed home. He still had to work in the morning and convince Sera that the pinhead was a jackass.
Nikolas had taken a deep breath, a muttered "you can say that again" escaping him when Dion mentioned they should all go to bed. He hadn't realized the time had passed so quickly. When Demeter spoke to him he at full attention again, his mind having wandered off to try and collect itself after the night's events. He smiled happy she hadn't forgotten that they still needed a little time to talk, and that Niko would want to see Rowan.
As he was handed the napkin with Demeter's number on it, Niko ripped a blank part of the napkin off, carefull to leave the number intact, and then proceeded to write his own number down. He handed the ripped piece back to Demeter. "And there's my number, in case you should need it. I'd be more than happy to bring my work to your house and spend time with Rowan. It's better than working alone, at any rate."
Niko's inner gentlemen wanted to say 'ladies first', but he exited the house, waiting to Demeter. The least he could do was walk the two to the car before heading home. What he hadnt expected was for Demeter to offer a ride. His face showed some of his surprise, and he didn't live far, so he was about to refuse, but then he thought it over. He wasn't in the best of moods after Rhystic deciding to act like an ass, so walking back through the city at such a late hour was just asking for someone to get hurt. He smiled. "That would be great. I don't live far, so I hope I'm dragging you too far out of your way."
***
Tobin glared at the reflection of his brother in the passenger side window. He was -not- happy and was currently leaning against the door in an attempt to sit the furthest away from Rhy as possible in the car. The only thing that kept him from forcing Rhy to pull the car over and let him out was their father, Marrus.
Rhystic was also just as pissed. He had nearly been castrated and the shirt he was wearing had neat slices in it from that woman's claws. Not mention the nice cuts on his skin beneith the shirt. The drive was silent and rife with tension, but he had accomplished what he father had asked, even if he'd had a few rather dangerous set backs. He'd lock himself in the home office once he got back so he'd had as little contact with Tobin as possible.
Rowan started to drowse almost the instant his mother picked him up off the floor. Before he drifted off to sleep though, he looked at Nikolas and mumbled quietly, "Night papa." Almost immediately after that, Rowan's head dropped against his mother's shoulder and he gave the contented sigh of a sleeping child.
~~~~~
She refused to cry. After taking a few deep breaths, Saiyuri tilted her head back against the wall and watched as everybody started to disperse from the kitchen. She smiled at Rowan as Demeter picked him up and walked out of the kitchen. Finally when Dion stepped in front of her and hauled her off the floor Saiyuri followed obediently.
Trudging down the stairs and in through the door Dion unlocked Saiyuri waited numbly as the older woman disappeared for a moment and then came back with a t-shirt handing it to her for pajamas. When Dion finally left the basement apartment, Saiyuri muttered a nearly silent, "Thanks."
As the door closed, Saiyuri turned and headed to the bedroom, stripped out of her now ruined sweater and jeans, pulled on the t-shirt and fell into bed. Her sleep was restless, full of dreams involving claws and blood and sharp pointy weapons as she hunted down her prey. Prey that she never ever would have chosen on her own....humans.
~~~~~
By the time Dominic finally made it back to Saiyuri's mother's house it was damn near dawn. He hadn't realized he'd been walking so long and to tell the truth he couldn't even remember where he'd been, nor did he really care.
As he made his way up the driveway, he passed not only his car but his wife's and he flinched. He'd taken his keys so she couldn't have even moved his car to take her own home if she wanted. Not sure if anybody would have given her a ride, he went up to the front door and knocked very gently. When there was no answer, he sat down on the front porch, leaning up against the wall of the house, and watched the sun rise through the trees. As he watched, his head began to nod and before long, his chin was resting on his chest.
Demeter shook her head. "I live close by myself. It was just a bit of a hassel to drag a five year old by hand during one of the busiest times of day. I wouldn't mind taking you home. Go ahead and get in." Demeter walked around the hood and opened the drivers side door. After slipping in, shutting the door and buckling herself in, Demeter put the key in the ignition and twisted. She grinned when the beast that was her car started right up. "just point me in the right direction. " She eased out of her parking spot and pulled up to the end of the driveway.
***
Dion muttered as she snuggled down into the cushions. It had been a very long day and she didn't give a damn where she fell asleep. It wasn't the first time she'd crashed on the couch so she just rolled over in her sleep and got comfortable.
Nikolas smiled at Rowan, hearing the muttered goodnight from the small boy. He would be glad to spend an extra few minutes with him, even if he was sound asleep in the back seat of the car during that time. Nikolas smiled in appreciation, settling himself in the passenger side, almost forgetting to buckle his seatbelt, which his brother had yelled at him for when Chase was younger. "I'm off to the left." Nodding to his left to emphasize the direction. He was worn out and was greatfull to be seeing his bed soon.
Niko looked up at the rear-view mirror, it's angle giving him a clear view of Rowan's sleeping form. He smiled, knowing that his father would most definately enjoy being a grandfather, even if the information came a bit belated.
***
Hawk was up early. -Very- early. He always was, and he hated it with a passion. For whatever reason his mind saw fit to wake him at 5 am with the intention of keeping him up. He grumbled and hauled himself out of bed. He looked possitively ruffled in a wrinkled t-shirt and sweatpants and his hair was sticking out in all sorts of directions.
He really didn't care what he looked like, he just needed his coffee and the paper, then he'd get his shower and set about annoying the rest of the household until they woke up. He was downstairs and to the front door in no time. He pulled it open only to stand there for a second and blink. Sitting next to his morning paper was a man, a vampire actually. Hawk had been blatantly evesdropping the night before, so he had realized who the man was rather quickly.
Hawk crouched down next to Dominic, grabbing the paper and poking him in the shoulder with it. "Come on sleepy head, wake up. You've got to be uncomfortable." He poked him a few more times for good measure.
Dominic was indeed -very- uncomfortable. How he had managed to fall asleep like he had he had no idea. When he was poked at a couple times, his head jerked up and he blinked into the bright morning sunlight before turning to see who was poking him.
It took a couple more sleepy blinks before Dominic realized he was staring at what was likely one of Saiyuri's younger half siblings. "Morning," he said, his voice still gruff from sleep, as he somehow managed to haul his stiff body up off the porch. Once he was standing he looked back out at the driveway and was rather relieved to see Saiyuri's car still there. Or at least sort of.
Turning back to the younger man he asked, "Do you know if my wife is still here or did somebody give her a ride home last night?" He wasn't sure which he expected or which he was hoping for but either way he just needed to know where his wife was. As he waited for an answer, Dominic began to wake up and with alertness came his sense of manners. Feeling more than a little embarrassed he stuck out a hand and added belatedly, "By the way, I'm Dominic, you must be one of Dion's other children right?" He had no idea how many kids Saiyuri's mother had but knowing his luck it was a whole swarm of them, just like her father...
Hawk wasn't the nicest person in the morning, but he managed to keep himself civil, standing and waiting for the man to get his barings. He had left the door open and it had easternly exposure, so the rising sun was becoming annoying. He was brought out of his inner grumbling when the mand started talking to him. "I'm guessing your wife is Saiyuri then? She's still here. Mom would never let her leave after all that crap and drama. We have a basement appartment, so she's most likely down there."
Hawk eyed the man, Dominic's, hand and hesitated to take it, but if he didn't he'd get chewed out by Dion for being rude. He took the hand, giving a firm shake and making sure it was a brief as possible. "I'm Hawk, one of the triplets, which makes me.." His brow furrowed in concentration as he took a moment to count. "The fifth child... ironically. That's counting Oberon and now Saiyuri." He was the most distrusting, one of the most reckless, and the one that so far was the odd ball out, so being the fifth child, in referance to the book, made a bit of sense.
Hawk smirked, knowing they were a big family, and this guy didn't seem like he came from one. In fact, he looked a little leery at the moment. "There's only one more after me, so don't worry. Why don't we head inside, the sun is getting bothersome and I still need to ruthlessly wake the rest of the house." He snickered at that last part. His favorite past time.
Dominic noted that Hawk was reluctant to take his hand but he made nothing of it. After all the 'drama and crap', as Hawk had called it, the day before he wasn't going to hold it against him. Only when Hawk mentioned the sunlight being bothersome did Dominic realize that indeed it was. As a vampire sunlight could bother his skin anyway, he like an idiot had been sleeping directly in it.
Following the other man inside, Dominic answered him once the door was closed, "Yeah, Saiyuri is my wife." He was still tired and worried how Saiyuri was and so asked, "Where did you say she's sleeping? I want to check on her. Dominic hoped he wasn't coming across as anti-social or grumpy but he was not a morning person at all.
Faith growled as her alarm went off. Damnit, she must have forgotten to turn it off last night. She rolled over in the queen size bed she'd made her foster siblings wrestle up into the attic apartment and frowned at the empty spot next to her. Tempest was away again and she could really use him right now. Those at home pregnancy tests had come up postive and she was getting just a bit nervous.
Faith rolled out of bed and padded down the stairs in search of food. Unlike the basement apartment, the attic didn't have a kitchenette in it. As she headed down the last few stairs, she crossed pathes with Hawk and some guy. "Hawk...who's that and what is going?" she asked while she rubbed at her sleep filled eyes. Damnit...she wanted coffee if she had to be awake this early.
Hawk had just turned for the kitchen, planning to get himself a cup of coffee, and was trying to be quiet about it as his mother was still asleep on the couch, when Dominic spoke and Faith made her presense known. Hawk gave a mild glare to both of them, putting a finger to his lips to quiet them, before answering. "This is Dominic, Saiyuri's wife. And if you don't know what I'm talking about then you missed out on a shitload of family drama. He's our brother-in-law."
The then he turned to Dominic to answer his question. "Saiyuri is in the basement appartment, which is through that door." He motioned to the door closest to the stairs, which also had a back entrance located outside, but he doubted Dominic would go in that way. He turned back toward the kitchen and headed straight for the coffee pot, dropping the paper on the table on his way. "I'm making coffee, and I make it strong. Anyone want any?" He knew Faith would at least take him up on his offer for coffee, but he wasn't sure about Dominic.
Dominic saw the young woman before she spoke and when she asked who he was and what was going on, he was about to answer but Hawk beat him to it. He smiled at her and shrugged when she gave him an odd look. Likely finding out she had a new in-law first thing in the morning was a bit of a shock.
Once Hawk answered his question about where Saiyuri was sleeping he made his way purposefully towards the door that led to the basement. He didn't even hear the other man's offer of coffee because the door had shut behind him already.
Making his way softly down the stairs, Dominic had some time to think and couldn't help but hope that Saiyuri wasn't mad at him for bolting the night before. She likely had just gone to bed exhausted once everything was over, but how much longer after he left before that was he had no idea.
The door between the stairwell and the basement apartment was still slightly ajar when he reached the bottom of the stairs. Pushing against it slightly he gave a soft sigh of relief when it didn't creak on it's hinges. The last thing he wanted to do was wake Saiyuri if she was still sleeping as she likely was. Once he was inside, he shut the door silently behind him, making sure it latched this time. Toeing off his shoes he then padded his way through the little apartment and couldn't help but admire it. It was decorated rather like their own home, which Saiyuri had decorated, and if he had any guess about it he'd say it was Dion that Saiyuri got her tastes from.
It didn't take Dominic long to find the main bedroom of the apartment, he'd noticed two others as he had perused the space, and as he opened the door he could see his wife sleeping soundly on a rather plush looking queen bed. The sight of his bed and his sleeping wife, a soft smile on her lips, made Dominic realize just how exhausted he still was. Sleeping on the porch, sitting up of all things, hadn't been at all restful. With a huge yawn, Dominic stripped off his shirt and crawled into bed in his jeans. Cuddling up behind Saiyuri, his arm draped across her expanding waist, he drifted off to sleep in a matter of seconds.
Faith grumbled as she followed Hawk into the kitchen. "The reason I missed out on whatever family drama was going on is that I was having one of my own. And, even though I talked to him for hours last night, I was unable to tell Tempest that you stand a good chance of becoming an uncle in about seven months." Faith grinned at the two men, opened the fridge, and stuck her head into it to hunt for the creamer she'd stashed in there.
When she backed away from the fridge, creamer bottle in hand, Faith blinked and looked around. She was short one male person. Shrugging, she turned to her foster brother. "Uh, Hawk, your brother-in-law has vanished and yes, I would like some coffee please." Faith grabbed a coffee cup out of the cabniet and sat down in the breakfast nook. She dropped her head down on the table and groaned. "Why does your brother have to be gone now?" she whined.
Hawk hadn't really noticed Dominic sneak off, but he wasn't exactly up in arms over it either. He had just gotten the coffee brewing and he let Faith's words sink in. He looked up, slightly confused. Had he been told she was pregnant before and just didn't remember? That was a very likely senario with him, as he was usually ignoring everyone else with his much practiced skill. Unless he was in an evesdropping mood, which came about when there was serious drama brewing in the family. That was usually when he caught up on matters such as this.
Hawk shook his head lightly. He didn't know what Faith was worried about if she couldn't tell Temp. He may be off and out of the house a lot, but he was that fatherly type, taking after Tobin. "Why couldn't you tell him? Not like he's going to be angry or anything." He almost sounded like he was muttering to himself as he rooted through the fridge for something to eat. Something preferably -not- made with an animal product. He smiled in triumph when he found some fresh fruit hidden in the back, dumping some into a bowl before sitting across from Faith. "Temp'll show up soon enough. He usually does, anyway." He glanced up at her and decided to tease a little bit."And isn't caffeine bad for a baby? I think I might have to keep that coffee from you. Milk would be a good choice"
Hawk was snickering, loving to torture his family. He stood to go grab the coffee pot that was just finishing up brewing and his mind went back to Dominic. He realized he hadn't said anything about that when Faith had mentioned it. "Oh, yeah. And my "brother-in-law" probably went down to the basement apartment to check on his wife. Wouldn't be surprised if he fell asleep."
Faith glared at Hawk. She loved the guy, really she did, but there were just those days when she wanted to steal one of Dion's toys and knock the boy silly. "Thank you, dearest Hawk, for reminding me about that whole no caffine thing. You do realize that I will now be a shrew for several hours in the morning for the next seven months.There are days when I really don't like you. And it is not easy to tell Tempest this because I'm not even sure. I mean, I know that He'll probably be a little bewildered at first as we weren't exactly planning this but he'll more then likely end up cooing to my stomach. Maybe I could just not tell him and let it be a surpise when he wanders back this way?"
Faith pondered her own question while Hawk busied himself with the coffee. She nodded at his explanation of Dominic and thumped her head against the table. "Oh, just get me some water, please?" She lifted her head up and grinned at Hawk.
Ayda stared at the empty seat next to her and ignored the professor. How...odd. Saiyuri wasn't in class today. Granted, this class was god-awful early and her friend was a pregrant lady but they both needed it and this was the only time be offered for the next few quarters and today was the big review before the midterm. Ayda bit her pen and sighed. She'd just have to wait fifteen more minutes until class got out and call Saiyuri.
Ayda, after she escaped from the lecture hall and perky things who were destined to be those scary-happy people, pulled her cell-phone out of her bag, looked up Saiyuri's cell number and called. And waited. Ayda sighed when the voice mail picked up. " Hey, Saiyuri, it's Ayda. Just wondering where you have wandered off to. Gimmie a call when you get this."
She stuffed the phone bag into her bag and headed off to her next class.
