Hawk was busy keeping his eye on his pack of cigarettes when he felt the heat of someone watching him. He knew who it was, and he flicked his eyes in Ayda's direction and gave a returning glare. The girl had just urked him and he couldn't seem to let it go. When his mom spoke his glare lightened a bit as he gave his attention to Dion, as it was usually a bad idea not to. She could be cruel when she knew you weren't paying attention, and he had gotten wrangled into doing rediculous and stupid chores before because of it.
He heard the question, the same one Ayda had gone spouting before, and then snorted when he heard Saiyuri's answer. Seemed a bit familiar to him. He muttered, "That's pretty much what -I- said the first time.." somewhat under his breath. He didn't care who heard, really, but he wished he hadn't been so close to Temp when he got an elbow in the ribs.
Tempest had heard his brother's comment loud and clear and flashed him a glare as his elbowed him in the ribs, just hard enough to make Hawk grunt. He had gotten a hiss in reply as well as a light glare before Hawk went back to brooding and casting an occational glare Ayda's way.

Tobin growled, cursing his brother for being an utter asshole. Though Rhy went to 'see him off' he had only gone as far as the surface before telling him he was on his own and to 'have a shitty day.' He prayed that Kannon refuse his brother any mercy as he was forced to walk through a not quite so nice neighborhood just to find a cab, or even a bus that went in the right direction.
He managed to find his way out onto busier streets and knew Rhystic had purposefully abandoned him at the entrance furthest from his home. He bitched and growled under his breath as he checked to make sure he had enough cash to get himself home before he waved down a cab. Thankfully he did, and an empty cab was near by. He slid in quickly, and gave the cabbie the address, having to repeat himself since the driver wasn't used to going so far outside of the city.
At least he was on his way home now, and that made him feel much better.

Dion ignored the antics of her sons and pondered the problem of Saiyuri. "Gotta ask youself, Saiyuri, how are you going to be able to live during your pregnancy if you can't maintain a illusion. Go to school, go out to the store and so on. The only reasonable option I can see is that you'll be cloistered in some house for the remaining time of your pregnancy. I'll offer you the use of my basement but you have to make the descion."
Dion turned around on her heels. "I'll be in my office when you are ready to talk. Hawk, Faith, Tempest, one of you will show her the way to my office when she's ready, right?" When the three nodded Dion climbed the stair case and went down to the last doorway on the second floor.
Once inside the room with blood-red wells, Dion leaned against the door and rubbed her temples. She'd been honest down there. If Saiyuri was unable to maintain illusions, she'd be a prisoner in a house till the baby was born. Dion crossed to her desk, picked up her phone and started calling her fellow Angels of Death. She need to take a few days off to deal with the tangle her life had become.
***
Once Dion left the room, Ayda made her escape back onto the front porch. She hadn't finished with the plants and she could hear them calling to her. Ayda plopped down on the wooden porch, hauled the nearest pot of plants closer to her and jabbed her fingers into the soil.
As she worked on the plants and their damaged systems, Ayda sighed. Out here, outside of the house and Hawk's clastraphobic pesence, she could relax. Ayda huddled the pot closer to her body as she crooned to it, grinning when the leaves started to perk up. After she finished the with the potted plants, Ayda moved onto the plants lining the walkway.
She was halfway down the concrete path, laying on her stomach, when the cab pulled up and Tobin got out of the car. She knew it was him because she'd absorbed the memories of the plants by this point. She waved one dirt crusted hand at him and crooned to the weeping bush in front of her.
By this point, Ayda knew everyone in the family. She knew their names and ages. She'd seen the triplets last birthday party. Rowan toddling around the front yard. Dion in a floppy straw hat and weilding garden tools. Tobin wrestling with his children. She'd also seen the bad times. Faith's first arrival to the house, Tobin after Dion had vanished and Dion's flight from the house.

Saiyuri blinked at the offer her mother made. She'd not even known the woman and the rest of the family a day and here she was offering up the basement apartment? Damn. Saiyuri waited until Dion made her exit, watched as Ayda escaped to the front porch, then turned to Dominic with a question clear in her eyes. What did he think they should do? They'd bought a house right after they got married, their own place. Would they have to give it up now?
Dominic had been watching his wife carefully as Dion had talked and when Saiyuri finally looked to him he was thinking the same things she was. Suddenly the livingroom was too crowded for him and he leaned in close to her and asked, "Can we go in the kitchen to talk about this?" The tears he saw welling up in her dark eyes were answer enough. He leaned in close and gave her a hug then helped her off the couch.
Once they were both up, Dominic looked at the member's of Saiyuri's family and said, "We need to talk about this, its a lot to think about." Then he gently directed Saiyuri towards her mother's kitchen where they could talk in peace.
*****
Saiyuri wasn't exactly sure how long they'd been talking in the kitchen but when she came back out all of her siblings had wandered off somewhere else in the house. "Great, how am I supposed to have one of them show me where Dion's office is?" She heard her husband snicker behind her and she turned and whacked him on the shoulder. "Brat," she muttered as she headed towards the stairs and Dominic went to flop on the couch.
Once at the top of the stairs she didn't bother calling out to anybody she just followed her mother's scent down the hall. It only took her a moment to find the door but once she was standing outside of it she hesitated to knock. Could she really do this? Give up her home with Dominic? Move in with a family she'd not even known she'd had until the day before? She wasn't sure but she was going to try. Swallowing her pride and her fears Saiyuri knocked before she lost her nerve, "Its Saiyuri."

As Tobin climbed out of the car and turned towards his house he was a bit shocked to see a girl lying on the walk way on her stomach tending to the plants. Though, he wasn't sure why he was so shocked, strange things happened at his house all the time. The girl seemed to be perking the plants up at any rate, but when she waved at him he blinked. Had they met before?
He paused on his way up the walkway when he got to her, crouching down so she didn't have to leave the plants. "Excuse me, but could I ask your name? I haven't seen you around the house before."

Tempest turned to Hawk once Dion had gone upstairs and Saiyuri and Dominic wandered off to the kitchen. Hawk knew the look, the responsibility to show Saiyuri to their mother's office was now his. He was used to it, even though they were both part of a triplet Hawk was still the younger, so chores got passed to him. Though, he didn't mind. Saiyuri wasn't bad at all, only her friend Ayda was, and he knew Tempest would want to spend time with Faith. He had just found out he might be a father, after all.
As Tempest and Faith made their way to the stairs to head up to their attic apartment, Temp turned and threw hawk his cigarettes without warning. He managed to catch them, barely, and he was so happy he almost went out front to smoke. Once he remembered Ayda was out that way he headed towards the back, only planning on getting a quick fix and coming back in to help Saiyuri. However, he ended up chain smoking again, cutting through his pack pretty quickly for one day.

Ayda peered up at Tobin. "Nope, never met you before but your son, the one who smokes, is an ass, no offense." Ayda gestured to the plants with a hand. "These guys told me, plants like to talk, you know, but not everybody can hear them. So no, You don't know me. I'm Ayda, Saiyuri's best friend. She's in there, being a bit stressed, the wings, spots and tail won't go away now," Ayda pointed behind her to the house and smiled up at the man.

Dion looked away from the pile of bills sitting in front of her and the decsion to cut her youngest daughter's cell-phone minutes in half if she kept going over her limit at the knock on the door. "Come in, whoever you are and be quick about it."
Once Saiyuri had shut the door behind her and gotten a good look at the armory turned office's walls, Dion giggled. Most people had that reaction to her office. "So, have you decided on what you're going to do?
