Chase gave a bit of a re-assuring smile, at least he hoped it was relatively re-assuring, before taking the lead and walking up the to the bar. The bartender was a vampire, not to mention the owner of the bar and a friend of Gershom's family. Though the man wouldn't recognize him, he would be able to tell they were vampires, so when Chase approached the bar and ordered it was no surprise the bartender knew what he actually wanted. "Can I get two bottles, please?"
When the two bottles, that looked mysteriously like beer bottles made of red glass, were placed on the bar infront of hi he picked up one and passed it to Troy. Once he took the bottle, Chase went back for his own. He hadn't had anything to drink in a while, so the smell of the already open bottle was lovely. He took a second to take in the scent before taking a swig.

(yea! finally a new page!)
Ace was slouched over in her chair, elbows propped up on one of the outside tables. She'd been looking at all the passing people, just waiting for Ali. When she saw someone who definally wasn't a hung-over student in seach of coffee not brew by themselves, Ace perked up. When the girl appeared to be looking for someone, Ace started to wave her arms around wildly. When the girl didn't appear to notice her, Ace scooted away from her table and ran straight for the girl, all but tackling when she got there. "Ali!"
Once she'd released the girl, gotten food and reclaimed her outside table, Ace plopped onto her chair with her legs crossed under her. "So, Ali Dearest. What have you been up to? From the looks of it, you've been roughed up. Whats with the limp, hand and bruise?"
While Ali told her about her morning, Ace munched on her imitation Egg McMuffin and looked the girl over. She seemed like the same little girl who wanted to run away to Greece but the years between little girl and adult could change a person's outlook one life. She herself had changed since little girlhood. "So, Ali, still want to go to Greece? My parents have already argued over it and I get to stay with my father during the summers and breaks. Wanna go to Greece for Christmas?" ***
Troy peered at the bottle for a moment before picking it up and sniffing at the open top. Before he made another move, he glanced around the room and noticed the other patrons looking at him. The other vampires could probably tell that he was just a baby and the humans probably thought he'd just turned 21 or something. Troy nudged Chase with an elbow and leaned in close. "i'm going to go sit over there while I work this out," he said while pointing to one of the back booths.
Troy took his bottle and headed for the booth. He plunked the bottle on the table, sat down and stared at it for a moment. His stomach was rumbling just from the scent but there was a whole mental thing that went along with drinking blood.
Troy picked the bottle up, tilted it back and took a little sip. He let the liquid roll around for a moment before swallowing. "Not bad," her murmured, "but it is still going to take me a while to finish this off."

(OOC- I couldn't resist posting, especially since I'm bored ><; lol forgive me. Gershom is joining us, and his profile will be up at some point ><;; )
Chase smiled a bit at Troy's initial reaction, hiding behind his own raised bottle before taking another good swallow. He let Troy have a bit of time to himself as he went off and sat at the booth with his bottle. He had been raised a vampire since birth, so he didn't understand being uneasy about drinking blood, but that didn't mean he would begrudge the poor guy for it.
He took a seat at the bar as he finished off his first bottle, taking no time at all since it'd been so long. He ordered a second for himself and glanced back, confirming that Troy was moving much slower with his bottle. He paid for all three bottles and picked his up to go join his companion when the bartender caught his attention. "Hey, Kid. Gershom just walked in, and it seems he's looking for you, 'cause he's headed your way."
He groaned and turned around, finding exactly what he was expecting, an annoyed Gershom. The man was tall, around 6 feet, so his stature was usually intimidating, and Chase was already in trouble with him so he shrank back towards the bar as Gershom walked right up to him. He offered a nervous smile, which only got him a slightly harsher glare. "Where's the kid?"
Chase gave a light glare. "He's not a 'kid', Gersh. He's only a year younger than us, and he's over there-" he motioned towards the booth Troy was sitting in. "-but don't take this out on him." Gershom only glared a moment before replying. "Of course I wouldn't blame it on him. You were the idiot that wasn't about to control themselves. Your father is going to be furious with you."
His now blue-green eyes widened a bit with fear. "I'm guessing I can count on that statement, huh.." Chase wasn't particularly happy to know he was in trouble, but as he glanced over at Troy and decided it was worth it. He'd had fun in the past day, and he really did like Troy. Gershom, of course knew his friend almost better than he knew himself and couldn't help but to cut him a little slack.
Gershom sighed and ruffled Chase's hair a bit. "So you like him that much, huh?" His friend's immediate blush was a good enough answer for him and he threw his arm over Chase's shoulders. "Come on, introduce me." The two made their way to the table, Gershom determined and Chase noticeably nervous and fiddling with the glass bottle in his hand.
Chase was pushed into the seat across from Troy and towards the wall as Gershom settled next to him. "Uh, Troy, this is one of my good friends, and one of my roommates, Gershom. Gershom, this is my new friend Troy." Gershom offered a smile, though for him to do so was usually rare, and extended his hand to Troy.

At that very moment, considering the day she'd had, Ali wanted nothing more than to escape to Greece for a while so she smiled and nodded excitedly, "If you're serious I would -love- that!" She didn't have to give it a second thought.
She couldn't believe how easy it was for her and Ace to rekindle their childhood friendship. While the girls ate their food and drank their coffee they chatted about what had happened in their lives since they had parted so many years prior. "I can't believe that of all the places you chose to go to college you came back here," Ali finally said as they got to the more current happenings in their lives. Almost immediately after saying that, her curiosity won out and she had to ask, "What -did- make you want to come back here anyway?" She wasn't silly enough to think that Ace came back just in case Ali was still in the same town so it had to be some other reason.

Ace rotated the little stirrer stick in her coffee and rested her chin in the palm of her hand. "Why did I return? Best anthropology program in the country. Maybe not in the world but I didn't get into those schools. My dad got me started on it. And, yes, I'm serious about spending Christmas in Greece. My father's family has threatened to disown him if I don't show up."
Ace tilted her head and grinned at Ali. "So, what's up with you? College? Work? Married? Single? Boys? Girls? Family? Got any kids? What have you been up to?"
***
Troy looked away from the bottle and up at the two seating across from him. He looked from Chase to the taller one and waved. "Hiya, how ya doing."
Troy slumped down in the booth, leaned forward and propped his chin up on his fists while staring at the bottle. He was probably being rude but he couldn't help it. It wasn't everyday when one was confronted with a bottle blood that one was expected to drink.
Troy flicked his eyes back up at Gershom and his still extended hand. "Sorry bout that. Am rather distracted." Troy reached out and shook the mans hand. "So....exactly what are you?"

Chase kept an eye on Troy as he stared at his bottle. He had to drink it eventually, and Chase was trying to plot how to get him to drink enough of it. Once he got a taste for it he shouldn't have any problems drinking it later, so he wanted to make sure he'd be okay getting it on his own for when Chase couldn't be around to make him drink blood. he took a swig or two of his own bottle before Troy actually came to and realized Gershom still had his hand out.
Gershom was being patient, he understood what was going on, more so than the other two sitting at the table, and wasn't offended when Troy zoned out, or even when he asked -what- he was. He knew Troy meant to ask which bloodline he was from, since he probably didn't know too much about them. "That's alright. I was turned, too, when I was in middle school. That's when I met this rascal." He ruffled Chase's hair roughly, who smacked his hand away and glared, trying to put the unruly locks back into place. "I'm a Kasi, by the way."

Ali was still smiling at Ace's comment about her father's family disowning him if they didn't get to see her at Christmas when the other woman launched a barrage of questions at her. Her mind was racing as she was trying to figure out which question to answer first and it took her a moment to sort everything out.
With a lopsided smile she answered them in as close to the same order as Ace had asked them. "College, not yet. I had planned on taking a year off to save up some money but now I don't know if I'll be able to go at all considering...." Her voice trailed off at the end of that answer and she quickly moved on to the next. "Work is kind of funny actually," here she pointed across the street at another coffee shop and laughing said, "I work right over there."
She took a sip of her coffee, now just the perfect temperature. She took another, longer sip, then answered some more questions. "Married, no. Single, no. Boys or girls, both." At that she watched as Ace's eyes widened but when the other girl didn't comment, Ali continued, "Family, just Troy since our parents disowned us this morning. Kids, aside from Troy's roomies none." At her own little joke about the guys, Ali couldnt help but laugh. College age boys, it was commonly known, were nothing but big kids after all.
Then with a sigh she answered the last question Ace had posed to her. "What I have been up to is getting me and Troy disowned like I said before. After an incident that happened to Troy last night at the nightclub we both frequent, I went home with him because my girlfriend freaked and ran out and left me there with no way to get home. This morning she called me to apologize and came and got me and took me home. I went into the house, and she came with me, and my parents freaked. The accused me of spending the night at Grace's house. And they said they'd not tolerate a lesbian living in their house and that I had to move out. I freaked, Grace left, and Troy came and got me and my stuff. He happened to drag along his roomies and another guy, the one involved in the incident last night and to piss off our parents I guess for their treatment of me, he laid a big wet one on the guy from last night... Needless to say our parents had a fit." She shrugged and finished her coffee and then asked Ace, "How bout you?"

Troy watched the interplay between the two across from him, grinning when Chase glared at Gershom. He turned his attention to the taller of the two. "Middle school, thats gotta be harsh." He filtered the others out as he took another long stare at the bottle sitting in front of him. He reached out and turned the bottle this way and twisted it the other. Finally he picked it up and took a swallow. "Yeah...definately going to take some getting used to"
*** "Me? What have I been up to?" Ace grinned. "Nothing really. I spent the summer in Greece, getting to know my dad a little more. I met him when I was fourteen and pretty much spent the summers with him. Because she thinks I'm safer in my dad's presence then tromping around the world with her, my mom lets me."
"I don't do much, but run around, causing havoc." Ace took a look around the boardwork. "And now I get to cause problems here. My roommate, Nelly, dislikes me. She apparently takes offense at the fact that I've been all over the world while she's always been a hometown sort of girl. She's obviosuly never learned how to deal with Scorpians or restless natives."

Gershom shrugged when Troy commented on his turning in middle school. It maybe have been a little odd, but he had still been a kid, so he had adapted rather quickly. Not to mention, his parents had been close friends with the Moriba council members, so they knew what was going on and what to do. He kept quiet as Troy eyed the bottle infront of him.
Chase was watching Troy as well. He wanted to make sure he actually finished at least one bottle before they left, and hopefully by then he wouldn't have so much of a problem with it. Once Troy was done with his swallow, and voiced his concerns, Chase spoke up. "Well. what's the hard part really? Is it just a mental thing about drinking it? The taste? I'm just wondering if there's a way to make it easier on you. I won't be able to be with you whenever you get hungry, so you'll have to be able to fend for youself without too much trouble..."

((ooc: sad and pathetic i know but i have no idea where you want to go with these two at the moment?))
Ali couldn't help but laugh about Ace's opinion of her college room mate. "Well, I have to say I'm jealous you've been all over the world but I'm not sure I'd be jealous of you having to deal with scorpians or restless natives. Your roomie must be somethin else..." Ali shook her head and snickered at the mental image she had of Ace's room mate.

Troy looked up at Chase and shrugged. "It's not the taste, that is becoming very addictive very quickly. Its rather a mental image of my mother, sorry my former mother, sprewing crap about satanic rituals thats getting to me. I just have this image of her at the dining room table, sunday dinner after church, going off about deviants. that would be everyone who didn't see things her way."
Troy looked back at his bottle and took another drink. "its hard to get over 21 years of having that drilled into my head in the time it takes to drink one bottle." *** Ace shook her head and tapped her nails against the glass top of the table. "I've put in a request to be moved but that was weeks ago. I think they've forgotten about me..." Ace scowled and sipped at her coffee. "Not to mention that almost always has a friend or two over but they don't think twice about sitting on my chair or bed. Or using my things. I'm possesive about my things."
Ace swung her legs and yawned. "So, what should we do today, as I am kidnapping you. You've had a sucky day and need cheering up. So, how long has it been since you've been on a shopping spree. I have a 500 dollar a month allowance for whatever I want."

Chase sighed, taking a drink from his own bottle as he seemed to slip into deep thought. It wasn't very often he got lost in his own mind, but when it happened he usually got a smack upside the head to snap him out of it. For now, Gershom left him to his thoughts: 'At least it's not the taste. So long as he can drink it, physcially, when he needs to. Where the hell are we going to go from here, though? I still need to make sure he can handle is powers, and I don't even know how strong he turned out to be...'
While Chase's mind drifted Gershom offered Troy a little good news. "Don't worry about it. You'll see soon that it isn't as bad as people think. The lifestyle, I mean. And you'll get used to the basics, though you should have an easier time. Most don't mess with fledglings that are so close to a council member or their immediate family."
Gershom sighed and waved a hand infront of Chase's face. He rolled his eyes when he got no responce, muttering. "Off in la-la land. When will the boy learn to bring himself back to the real world." He smirked and addressed Troy again. "Should I smack some life into him, or do you wish to do the honors? It might make you feel better..."

Having a childhood friend back in her life, at just such a shitty moment was a huge blessing for Ali and she knew it. All her frayed nerves and various injuries seemed not to matter at all anymore. She couldn't help but relax while Ace chattered away.
Ali was nursing her coffee when she heard Ace ask what she wanted to do for the day and how long it had been since she'd been on a shopping spree. At the mention of her having a $500 a month allowance, Ali choked on her coffee. "What?!" she asked, shock clear in her voice. "You can't be serious! $500 a month?! Lucky girl!" Only after she'd said that did it occur to Ali just what Ace had asked before... "Oh, umm, shopping spree...? Ages I think. I honestly can't remember the last time."

Troy looked from Gershom to the lost in space version of Chase. "Nah, let his mind wander for now. I kinda gave him a large shock earlier this morning. I'm sure that by now you've figured out the basics of how I ended up this way. Well, last night I gave the condition of nothing overly personal until I had this all figured out and then I go and make out with him on my parents front lawn in order to have them mad at me rather then my sister."
Troy took another drink, a long pull this time that lowered the level by half, before looking from Chase to Gershom. "So, exactly how important is he, anyways? I never quite got that out of him last night. I gotta admit I was only concerned about the basics. What about you? What can you do?"
***
Ace grinned at Ali, and pulled a credit card out of her purse. "My grandmother spoils me. She thought her son would never give her a grandchild then poof, she gets a half-grown granddaughter. She says I can spend 500 a month on whatever i want so long as my grades remain above a B-."
Once breakfast was over, Ace grabbed a hold of Ali's good hand and dragged her towards the bus stop. "We, my friend, are going to get to know each other over shopping. Is there anyone you should call so they know where you?"

Gershom lowered the hand he had hovering behind Chase's head. He let out a mock upset sigh, as he had been waiting to smack his poor friend upside the head. He smiled when he heard about the events of the morning. Though he was a Clairvoyant, he could only see events that had some sort of effect on his own time line, and while the tempter of Chase's father, Bryce, effected many, Troy's family affairs seemed to be separated from his new vampire life. He gave a chuckle when he heard about the public make-out session, knowing Chase too well to even believe it bothered him.
The Kasi smiled at the new round of questions. "He left that out did he? Well, I could see that. He doesn't really like to mention it. Chase told you about the bloodlines right? And how each bloodline is led by the strongest male and female of the line? Well, the two usually end up married. Bryce and Makayla are the Keahi council members, as well as Chase's parents."
He let that sink in for a minute, drinking from his own glass and casting a glance at his friend. He seemed like he was starting to slowly return to consciousness, but they probably still had a few moments to talk "alone." He answered Troy's other questions. "As for me, I'm a Kasi. We're Clairvoyants, for lack of a better description, but our strength of foresight varies greatly. I can only see situations that will effect me, and only up to a week in advance, while the council members of my line can look decades, possibly even centuries into the future at will."

Troy shifted in his seat, casting glances around the room. It was starting to fill up with others and each was giving him a look and then a second look. He looked between his two companions. "While all that is interesting, I really mean this and will probably grill you with dozens of questions, could you snap him out of it? I'd like to get out of here."
Troy took another glance around the open floor of the bar and shuddered. He picked up his bottle, drained it, and set it back down on the table. When Chase was brought back to reality, Troy hurried away from the both and waited for the bill to be paid. He hadn't grabbed his wallet on the way out the door so he had no money on him. Troy turned to Gershom, "You can come back with me, and him," he said while pointing to Chase, "back to my place. He probably has more to tell me and you probably have more questions for me.

Gershom didn't hesitate to give Chase a nice slap upside the head when Troy mentioned he wanted to leave. Chase gave a soft yelp and rubbed the back of his head, glaring at his old friend. When Gersh motioned towards their other companion, Chase turned his head and managed to catch Troy finishing off the bottle he'd had in one go.
Chase had a confused look on his face which only got worse when Troy walked away. He glanced at his friend, starting to get a bit miffed. "What did you say to him?" Gershom rolled his eyes at the implication. He pulled out enough money to pay for the last round of drinks they'd had (since Chase paid for the others before), and motioned for his friend to follow as he headed to the bar to pay the bartender directly, not trusting enough to leave it on the table. "I didn't say anything to scare him off, if that's what you think. But if you haven't noticed, the crowd is getting a little big and this is a known vampire bar."
Chase mentally winced when he noticed just how many vampires had trickled into the bar, now understanding why Troy would want to leave so quickly. They met up with him at the door and Gershom smiled at the invitation. He agreed to follow them there in his own car, reluctant to leave it at the bar. He shot Chase an 'I told you so' look before getting into his car.

Troy let out a breathe and unlocked the driver's side door to his truck. After boosting into the truck, Troy leaned across bench seat and popped the lock on the passenger door for Chase. Once the smaller vampire was seated across from him. "Thank you for helping me with all of this. And I just needed to get out of there. I've never been comfortable around a large crowds of people."
Troy turned the key and waited while his truck sputtered to life. He'd have to poke around under the hood sometime in the coming week, his poor baby sounded ill again. "Are you okay with going back to my place? I really don't have any more questions at the moment but I guess just talking would be good. Customs and all that. I'd hate to inadvertently insult someone."
Troy steered the truck home, aware of the car following along behind him. While sitting at a traffic stop, Troy glanced at Chase. Normally, he wouldn't have gone for such a person, much less a guy. He'd only been in that club last night because his dear friends believed he needed to get away from the books. Somehow, he thought as he looked at Chase, he'd come out with a better deal then the other two. Once he had the truck parked at the curb, Troy hopped out of the cab and waited for the other two to join him on the sidewalk.

((ooc: So.. I go the urge to update on old posts... lol. I miss some of my boys, though.))
Chase climbed into the truck and got himself settled into the seat. Once he was, Troy thanked him, and he couldn't help but blush. It was technically his duty to stick by him and teach him what he needed to know, but Troy was being so calm about it. He smiled as Troy started the car. "That's fine, really. I could understand not liking to be around crowds, especially the crowds that gather there. And I have no problem going back to your place."
He glanced into the side mirror and noted that Gershom was still following them. Not wanted to loose him on their way back to Troy's place. He gave a little chuckle at Troy's mention of offending people. "Our customs aren't that specific that you'll have to worry about sticking to them just to avoid offending people. You just really need to remember the bloodlines and what they do, but that's more for your own protection."
The rest of the ride was in silence, but it wasn't that long to begin with. Chase was pretty happy with how things were turning out after everything that had gone on in the past two days. Though, he was used to being more aggressive with those partners he took an interest in, he was enjoying taking things slower, safer. Once they arrived at the house, and Gershom pulled up behind them, they gathered on the sidewalk and then made their way up to the house.

((ooc: I miss my boys as well. They need to be played with more often.))
Troy unlocked the front door to the house, wondering where the rest of his roommates had wandered off to. After toeing off his shoes and leading the others into the living room, Troy flopped onto his overstuffed, overlarge arm chair and propped his feet up on the cluttered coffee table. "This has been an utterly long day and it isn't even half over yet."
Troy let his head drop against the back of the chair and stared up at the ceiling. After a few minutes he lifted his head and stared at the others in the room. "So, I just have to remember the bloodlines and what they do. Easily done. It's will be like remembering the masters and the facts about their pieces."
At the confused looks the other two were giving him, Troy blushed and rubbed the back of his head with his right hand. "Sorry, I'm an art history major up at the university. I spend my time trying to remember who did what and when they did it." Troy stretched his feet out, groaning when his ankles popped. "So, do you guys have any questions for me?"
