Tech swung about above the large stage area in The Asylum club and pub house. He let out a jubilant woop as he arced down from the ceiling in his hammock of wires. A light, agile adolescent boy, Tech was quick enough on his feet to navigate the vast network of wires currently being taped ina dn around the stage. He looked down from his vantage point to see the rest of his troupe setting up equipment.
In his hybrid form, Tech was much smaller than his human counterpart, a bushy red tail flaring out behind him as he swung from one pole to another, carrying a length of wire behind him.
"Oh man this is gonna be so cool!" He chanted as he went about the routine of set up. "I got me one helluva costume for the night. Got to play up to it all, gonna be some humans in here aswell."
***
The club mascot, a large male bengal tiger paced across the bar room sfloor, sniffing at the floorboards to asure himself there was no sign of any...illegal substances. Shagal snuffled and sneezed at a dust bunny that attacked him from beneath one certain offending floorboard. Grumbling, he paced on, glaring at the band setting up on the stage. Shagal hated visitors to his sanctum, worst of all the roadies that the club favoured. Shrugging his powerful feline shoulders, the tiger moved on, finally disappearing under the overly large cat flap in the kitchen door.
Shagal hated Hallows End, so amny drunk kids wanting to have a good time....so many drunk human's victims of their own success. And he, the ever present wall between them and their unfortunate ends.

Emily laughed as Tech swung down from the whatever he was doing up around the lights. "You crazy fox, get down before you hurt yourself," she said, followed by a laugh. Tech was always reckless but being a wereanimal made his recklessness not nearly so dangerous. He was naturally agile so her chastising him was more playfull than anything else.
Taking her eyes from the excited kitsune, Emily turned her attention back to her keyboard and her music. Tech may take care of most of the set-up but Emily liked to take care of her own equipment. Plus, coming in early for set-up gave her a chance to get a look around the venue they'd be playing in. Tonight it was a club in a college town in the northwest part of the country. She'd never been to this part of the country and so far she was loving it, even if it was raining outside and threatening to whip up a real storm.
"So Tech?" she asked the younger man, "Are we almost ready? I think the club owner said the doors will be opening in half an hour." She was ready, she just needed to get changed so she made her way off the stage and started to the back room where the rest of her bandmates were getting ready.
*****
Jezza was giddy and bouncing under the umbrella she was holding as she waited outside the club in the rain. She hadn't seen her sister in what seemed forever and she had flown half way around the world to do just that. Of course Emily still thought Jezza was dead so there was likely to be some confusion, maybe some anger, and deffinately a long talk to explain everything.
Unable to hold in all her excitement, Jezza kept squeezing Anthonty's arm, which she was holding onto so she wouldn't bounce out from under the umbrella. "Thank you, thank you, thank you for coming with me Anthony," she said for probably the 4th time. Then she turned to Daine, who had snagged his own umbrella and was standing behind them, and she said to him, "I can't wait for you to meet Emily, she was my best friend, not just my sister. I think you'll like her." She said this because Daine had become like a big brother to her and she wanted nothing more than her "brother" and sister to get along.

Kaydence was fiddling with acoustic guitar after making sure she was ready for the show. She never had to worry about stage fright, only boredom, so she kept a guitar with her back stage. It was never one she needed to use for the show, which had already been set up. She was actually excited for this show, more so than the others, because it was Halloween and her brother would be coming.
She was already decked out from head to toe in a "Gothic Lolita" outfit in black and blue. She was anxious to see Caleb after having been traveling and playing shows for a while. She ahd tried to find out what his costume was going to be, but he had kept his mouth shut and told her it would be a surprise.
The door to the backstage area was open and Kay could hear the techies scrambling around and setting up. They would be going on soon after the doors opened as she noticed the band members beginning to trickle in and get ready. She gave a little smile as they started to come in. Her band was her family, besides Caleb, so she acted differently around them, though she was still the quiet one.
***
Caleb had his cape thrown up over his head to shield himself from the rain as he waited in line. He was standing outside of The Asylum waiting for them to open the doors for the Halloween party, and he couldn't wait until his sister, Kay, caught sight of him. He thought he was particularly clever for dressing up as Dracula, and knew Kay would get a laugh out of it.
All his friends would eventually be making thier way to the club, and a few had already commented on how realistic looking his fangs were. He could only smirk at that one, but one of his friends, a female he worked with, had pulled him aside and forced him to wear make-up for his costume. It was only black eye shadow around his eyes and little on his face to make him look gaunt. His one friend tortured him endlessly about it, but it made the costume that much better.
Now Caleb was just attempting to keep it from getting washed off in the rain, making his cape the perfect umbrella substitute.

L tapped his finger's against Dominic's shoulder, arm looped over the shoulder. He'd taken off the trenchcoat he'd covered his costume with as protection from the rain. It was currently drapped over his and Dominic's heads. He knew they were getting some odd looks, and that Dominic was uncomfortable, but he was enjoying their close proximitiy.
L used his free hand and tugged at the waistcoat he was wearing. It hadn't been hard, researching his costume. He'd gone from portrait to protrait of 17th century nobles and taken notes. L turned his head, careful not to muss his hair, which had taken him hours to get just right, and smiled at Dominic. This was their first outing to something other then a hole-in-the-wall bar together. "Hey, Kid, how ya doing?"

Cian lounged around in Cera's living room, waiting for her to finish primping for the halloween party at the club. Ever since the Ted Incident, he'd taken to being close to the girl, as she was too nice for her own good. Of course, this had it's downfall. The only way she'd agree to go to this party at the club was if their costumes matched. Cian huffed as he flicked the feather hanging down from pointed hat.
Robin Hood. Cian groaned as he thought of Talbot's and Lia's reaction to the costume. Cian tugged at the stiff cotton shift and was thankful that, at the very least, he'd managaged to talk Cera into allowing him to wear the leather pants rather then the tights. Normally, he wouldn't have minded but he didn't look good in green.
Of course, he was already scheming to switch costumes at the club. The second one wasn't hard to hide...considering it consisited of a small bit of fabric. That and his pants could double for both costumes.
When Cera floucned out of her bedroom, Cian stood and grinned. "Are we ready?"

Dainiel stood outside of the grizzly looking establishment. It was raining the proverbial cats and dogs over the threesome and the umbrella he had procured for them did little to keep them dry. Ever the enthusiast, he wore a pair of blue Levi jeans, a plain shirt and a frayed, stylish jacket. His halloween costume was what he always sported, a little bit of semi-change gave him a wolfish tint to his skin and tufted ears, not to mention the raggy, black tail that lifted the back of his jacket. All in all, he was the convincing werewolf of legend. But it was supposedly just a good make-up artist.
He glowered down at Jezza, his ever present imp. "Can we just get in out of this rain already?" His eyes darted to the big, burly human on the door, a tiger stood by his side. Why an haven for weres and Custoss alike would have a mere human as a doorman he could not fathom, but the bald, tattooed man watching them was definately human - a human with dangerous knowledge of their kind.
Anthony grinned at Jez, two not altogether fake fangs peeking out from his lips. "Well I hope she appreciates what we've done bringing you here." It was surprisingly hard to talk with fangs. He held a hand out towards the doorman. "Shall we?" A guiding hand on the small of Jezza's back, he led the trio over to The Asylum, where the doorman greeted them and the tiger glowered at them. Whatever the pass key was to this place they must have passed, as they were allowed into the lobby.
Shagal watched them with a watchful eye as they entered the club proper. His job was to vet any newcomer and if their scent didn't sit with him, they were out, no question.

Knoton came bursting through the backstage doors, out of breath and in a tizzy. "I'm so sorry guys, I got a bit distracted this afternoon and next thing I know its almost time to play."
Finally able to catch his breath after a few minutes, he strolled on stage to check the setup. "It looks like everything is done". After looking around and seeing people begin to shuffle in, Knoton scurried off stage and switched into his angelic etheral form. Not much of a costume, but he needed to keep his attire quick and moveable.
~~~~~~ Cera was absolutly giddy about this evening, not about going to one of the creepy downtown clubs, but she was with Cian and they were Robin Hood and Maid Marion together. The wool pants she bought him, he refused to wear but the compromised on leather. Its Robin Hood so leather works. Cera blushed as she remembered Cian trying on the leather pants.
Cera was putting the final touches on her costume, like makeup and fluffing her already curly/ringlet hair. She had chosen the disney version of Maid Marion's costume where is was soft pink and white, so all was well tonight.
Coming out of the bedroom she saw Cian standing and waiting for her, "Yes, I am ready now!" she fluttered over to Cian and gave him a hug "We are so CUTE together! Don't ya think?" Giving him a quick little peck on his cheek, Cera went to the door "So lets go show off our outfits!" she opened the door and it was raining "Aww poo! its raining and I don't wanna get my dress ruined!"
~~~~~~ Erika was standing outside, without an umbrella, she thought that the doors would be open just for the fact it was raining. Thankfully someone had decided to share their's with her. Her makeup was probably already ruined but not that it was a big deal, her Zombie Bride costume was meant to look like it had been rotting. She knew the doors were gonna open soon, but this was taking forever, or at least it felt that way. Scanning the crowd of people outside, she looked for Cera and Cian, Cian had convinced her to come but only on her terms. Apparently Cian had to wear a costume she picked out.... poor Cian.

Cian barely managed to swallow the groan bubbling in his throat. Yes, they looked cute. He felt like some sugary, sweet peice of candy. When Cera complained about the rain, he just sighed and reached into the girl's umbrella stand. "A little water never hurt anyone, Cera," he said while popping open the umbrella and holding just outside the door. "You're not getting out of going to the club." He knew it wasn't a nice thing to say but he was so spun about about his...outfit that he felt a bit testy.
Once he had Cera in a cab, Cian leaned back against the seat and stared out the back window. He had a plan for tonight. Cera had a thing for virgin daiquiris and he had a itch to slip her some non-virgin ones until she was toasted. He wanted out of this costume and into one where he could let a little more of himself out. There was just something about halloween that demanded he let loose a little.
When the cab pulled up beside a slowly moving line, Cian sighed and, after opening the door, popped the umbrella open once again. He'd toss it in the coat-check room of the club. As he escorted Cera to the line, Cian kept an eye out for anyone he might know who would laugh at the fact that he wasn't showing any skin on halloween.

((Just throwing in Niko and Tale now, so I have some time before I need to throw all 4 of my charries together, lol))
Talbot was quite proud of how his costume had come out. Well, it was a rather simple one, but it allowed him enough leeway to show some skin. He was an Angel this year and decked out in white from head to toe. His white pants road low on his hip, as most of his pants did, and his white button up shirt only had one button done. He had white sneakers and a white trench coat due to the rain. Both the shirt and the coat had holes cut into backs to allow room for his large irredescent white wings. To top it off he had rigged a golden halo to bob above his wild hair.
He checked out his costume in the mirror once more before nodding to himself, satisfied. He had to work later than normal that night, so he opted to meet the others at the club and was quite excited to see what everyone else had dressed up as. He figured Cera would be dressed in something rather cutesie, and either she had conned Cain into doing the same or he had rebelled.
Tale was most excited to see Lia. Well, he was always excited to see Lia, but that was on any normal day. He jsut couldn't wait to see what she had decided to dress up as. He had purposefully avoided the subject before so he could be surprised and now he was practically vibrating with anticipation. He quickly snatched up his keys and wallet before heading out the door and to the club.
***
Nikolas had always enjoyed Halloween and all it's festivities, though over the years it had become increasingly difficult to find a costume he hadn't already worn. He had eventually given up on that, and tonight he was dressed as a cowboy. It had always been a joke among his family and friends from when he was little. After all, he had been born in the southwest right before the gold rush. It also gave him the perfect opportunity to strengthen his usually subtle southwestern accent.
Niko tilted the hat down further over his face to block some of the rain. His blue flanel shirt and worn jeans were being kept dry by the brown leather duster he had on. He has also managed to find a pair of black cowboy boots and had two gun holsters on his belt; they each held a brightly colored water gun, which his son had allowed him to borrow for the night.
Ha gave a glance around the crowd as the line shifted forward a few steps, but not enough. He grumbled to himself about being cold as he looked around once more, searching for any signs of Demeter.

((ooc: sorry for taking so long guys, work has been hell and I've been exhausted. exhausted = brain dead... ugh and then i -forgot- a part *hides from Demi* sorry!!))
Jezza got all giddy at Anthony's hand on the small of her back, she always did despite the fact that they weren't technically together. She'd had a thing for him since the first time she'd met him and it had only gotten worse over the time she'd known him.
When she smiled at him, she too had her fangs showing. Daine had stolen her idea for a costume but she decided to go with it anyway. Only, instead of her normal jeans and sweatshirts she was in black leather pants and a black corset top with crimson ribbons lacing it up. Her black curls were mostly pulled back into a high bun with only a few strands curling around her face. Having her hair pulled back made her wolf ears quite obvious and her tail was moving very life-like. It had taken her a couple tries to manage to let just certain parts of her wolf form come through.
Once they were finally inside, Jezza shed her thigh-length black leather coat and handed it to the person at coat check. "Thanks," she said as she took her claim ticket and waited for the boys to do the same. Once they were all three ready, she practically dragged them both into the club propper. "Would you two hurry up? I want to catch Emily before they get started."
*****
Lia had been planning and plotting her costume for the past two months. Not because it was overly difficult but just because she'd had a stroke of genius over it and she couldn't stop thinking about the reactions it would get from Talbot and their friend Cian. Cian had a very big weakness for pink on a girl and that was the part she'd come up with to torture him. The part to torture Talbot, and any other man with a pulse, was the fact that the skirts and veils hanging from her waist and face were all fairly see through. She had decided to go as a sort of genie or arabian princess. She wore her her typical gold belly chain with a small gold succubus charm on it but aside from that, and gold strappy sandals that laced up her calves to emphasize just how little she was actually wearing.
They had agreed to meet at the club and Lia had already given her coat to coat check, she was now hanging around the still sparsley populated bar. Sooz was workin the bar tonight, dressed as a witch, according to her, drinks were like potions and who better to play with potions than a witch? "So, you know the boys, do you think they'll like this?" she asked her friend and Sooz just laughed. "Yeah, my thoughts too," Lia answered herself. She knew Talbot and Cian would like it and that is why she had worn it.
*****
Dominic was immensly grateful that the costume he had on was damn near waterproof. The rain was coming down harder and despite Lysander holding his trenchcoat over the both of them, Dominic was still getting partially rained on. He'd borrowed one of his uncle's old flight suits from when he was in the Airforce and was quite surprised when it fit perfectly. His uncle now had a bit of a spare tire around his middle and it was hard for Dominic to picture him as anything but a jolly middle-aged hotel owner. Apparently at one point in time however, his uncle had been a fly-boy.
When he felt the tap on his shoulder, Dominic looked at his friend and companion for the evening and smiled nervously. Dominic wasn't willing to accept that L was pursuing him in anything but a friendly manner but the fact that L had his arm draped around Dominic's shoulder made that rather difficult... When L asked how he was doing, Dominic looked at him curiously and asked, "How should I be doing? Its cold and wet the line isn't moving...." Dominic's voice trailed off as people in front of him started to head into the building. "Okay, never mind," he said with a laugh and followed the crowd as it moved forward.
Once they were inside, Dominic escaped from under L's coat and arm and waited for the older vampire to give the soggy coat to the poor coat check girl. Once Lysander rejoined him, Dominic asked, "Okay, now what?"

Demeter leaned against the front door and sighed. Getting out of the house with a hyper five year old wasn't easy. She glanced into the living room from outside and grinned. Rowan was busy showing his candy to his babysitter. She felt sorry for making the girl work on halloween but she needed the escape.
Demeter tweaked her ears and headed for the cab that was idling at the curb. She was going as a cat this year. She knew it wasn't all that original but she had little time to plan. She was letting just enough of Hades show. She had a pair of cheap ears perched on her head and a fake tail attached to the back of pants but the tiger strips were real enough and the backless shirt she wore allowed the strips to be seen.
Once she arrived at the club, Demeter payed the driver and skittered into the quickly moving line, hissing at the rain. She hadn't seen Nikolas in the line but she knew she'd smell him soon enough. This was their first outing free of Rowan and she was just curious as to what would happen between the two of them.

Kaydence paced as she heard the crowd start to trickle into the club. She was antsy and wanted to get on stage, play some music, and also try and spot her brother. She'd have a better vantage point on stage after all. She fiddled with the extra picks she had tucked in her hair as a soft growl rumbled out; Kay and Shadow were bored.
***
Caleb bounced with excitement as the line started making it's way into the building. Once he was past the doorman he shook out his cloak a bit, relieved that his costume had survived the rain. He made his way to the bar to get himself a drink before he began to stalk around the outside of the dance floor. He wasn't much of a dancer, but he wanted to make sure he'd be able to get as close as possible for the concert.
***
Talbot relinquished his white trench coat, handing it off to the person at the coat check as it was too wet and a bit too heavy for the club. Besides, with the way he was about clothes, the lone fastened button on his white shirt would be undone in no time. He sighed when he reached the main room of the club and the black lights hit him. The one downfall of his costume was that the club lights caused him to glow rather bright, so if he didn't find Lia, Cian, and Cera, they would find him.
He wandered towards the bar where they usually met and couldn't help but noticed the wonderful female body draped in sheer veils. It took his mind a second to recognize just who such a body belonged to, and when he did he smirked and shifted over towards her. He slid his arms around Lia's waist and fiddled with the charm on her belly chain as he whispered in her ear. "Well, now aren't I the luckiest Angel in the Heavens."
***
Niko blinked when he looked up and brim of his hat shifted to reveal that the line was moving, and at a substantial pace. He smiled and glanced around once more, actually turning around to check the line behind him for Demeter. He spotted her, waving to get her attention. "Hey Dem!" He was happy she came, knowing it wasn't easy to escape Rowan for the night. When he got her attention he motioned to the door. "I'll meet you inside!"
The line had already been giving him annoyed looks for not moving, so he hurried along inside, dropped off his coat and hovered around the door, waiting for Dem to walk in. When she did he put his full south-western accent into swing and offered her his arm, smiling. "Well, little lady, how 'bout I buy us some drinks?"

Cera huffed a little when they arrived at the entrance of the club, at least there was an umbrella and her nice dress wouldn't get too ruined. The crowd was on its way inside now so everyone could get out of the rain and ready to party. They had just made it to the door frame when Cera heard maniacal laughter just inside. Whimpering a little Cera knew who it was instantly. She knew Erika was going to be here, but to have her waiting was what made her whine. Apparently Erika was dead tonight, how typical, the thing that made it apparent was the guts flopping about on the outside of her outfit and what appeared to be flesh hanging off. "Hi Erika..." she didn't sound very happy now. ***** Erika was just inside the door way when she saw Cian and Cera get out of the cab, wait what was he wearing? Trying to look through people and rain wasn't making it any easier, but Cian was definately covered up. "Oh gods, what has Cera done to him?" Cian barely managed to swallow the groan bubbling in his throat. Yes, they looked cute. He felt like some sugary, sweet peice of candy. When Cera complained about the rain, he just sighed and reached into the girl's umbrella stand. "A little water never hurt anyone, Cera," he said while popping open the umbrella and holding just outside the door. "You're not getting out of going to the club." Cian grinned at Erika, giving a little wave while he propelled Cera into the club. "Looking good, Erika. What did the deed?" he asked the woman while he handed the umbrella to the girl behind the coat check counter. He leaned over, pressed a quick kiss to Erika's cheek and pushed her into the main club room. When he saw Erika looking over his costume and smirking, Cian groaned. "Don't say a thing, Erika. Not a thing. Watch Cera and makes sure she doesn't do anything," he said into Erika's ear, pushing the two sisters together while he headed towards the bar. He'd spotted Tale and Lia.
Cian sidled up to the bar, called out his order to Snooz (which included a nonvirgin drink for Cera) and purred at the couple next to him. "well, you two are looking very cuddly." Cian reached over and gave each a kiss on the mouth. "And don't say a thing about my costume. I have a plan to get out of this thing," he said while sratching at the shirt.
***
L grinned at Dominic as he handed the coat over to the girl behind the counter. "Now, Puppy, we get some drinks and have some fun. This isn't the normal meet at the bar and Andy gives us a bottle night. We are going to have some drinks and there will be dancing."
L shoved Dominic towards the bar, grinning at the trio next to them. All pretty people. "Now, Dominic, what shall we have tonight? Be a little adventerous tonight." L smiled at Dominic, looking around the area to see what had gathered around the club tonight, growling when he spotted a couple of people staring at Dominic's backside. Flightsuits accentuated the behind. L slid closer to Dominic, wrapping an arm around the man's waist. Dominic wasn't his yet but he was staking his claim early.
***
Demeter grinned up at Nikolas. "Yes, I do believe I'll let you foot the bill tonight. Rowan misses you, by the way. Wanted to see you and show off his costume. He'll be hyper next time you see him."
Demeter walked with Nikolas to the ground, grinning about the comments of her great makeup/body work. When she spotted a familar head of hair leaning against the bar, Demeter stopped and leaned back against Nikolas. "Is it just me or is that Dominic?" she asked while watching the man standing next to wrap an arm around his waist.

Erika bit back her laughter nearly choking on it, after calming down she agreed to keep an eye on Cera while he went off to greet others, only after giving his leather enclosed booty a healthy squeeze. So inside now waiting for the band to kick up she scanned the room noticing some regulars and some not so regular, most in scandally clad costumes.
Turing her attention to Cera for a moment, she saw really how out of place she was. Okay it was time to heat things up for her like now. "Cera I need you to go find yourself a little table close to the stage, just so I know where to find you. I will be right back" Shooting a not so cleverly disquised evil grin to her, she sidled over to the bar area towards Cian. "Please tell me you are giving her alcohol tonight, I'm going to be helping her with her costume after a few drinks." Smirking and raising an eyebrow, one of Erika's signature naughty looks. "If you are planning on it, we need to start now so things will heat up..."
*************
Cera watched as Cian took off for the bar area, there were a few people he needed to see. So she was left standing with Erika in silence. Looking around the room she began to have flash backs of when she first met Cian and the whole Ted issue. Twisting her hands a bit she wondered if anyone in the room right now was looking at her and planning the same thing. Erika broke her thoughts and said she was going to be right back, and she should find a table near the stage area, and she was gone.
Unease filled Cera as she slowly made it to the table closest to the stage she could find. Pulling out a chair to sit down, she spotted Cian at the bar getting really cuddly with a couple, even the guy. It then occured to her that this was the first thing she saw the first time she came in here, it was Cian and that other couple making out. "Oh god oh god.." How could she be so forgetful especially since it was her boyfriend who did all that.
Doing a quick turn wanting to hide from her shame, she didn't notice the speakers and knocked them over causing half of the stage equipment to fall over. Cera clapped her hands over her mouth and tried to step backwards tripping on her dress, causing her to go down like the stage gear.

Emily was just finishing up her own costume, a vampire surprise surprise, when Knoton burst into the backstage area. The dark blue laces on her black corset top slipped from her fingers and loosened and she couldn't help but hiss with frustration. "Knoton, love, you made me mess up," she whined at her bandmate playfully as she re-laced her top. It went with her black leather pants nicely and the bare skin of her chest and shoulders was shown off nicely since her hair was pulled back up in a messy knot on top of her head only letting a few strands trail around her face.
She had just gotten the laces tied when there was a loud crash from out near the stage and she, along with the rest of the band members, jumped and ran out to see what had happened. As she ran she yelled, "Tech! Are you okay?!" She hadn't seen the fox in a while and she was hoping that her teasing him about falling before hadn't come true. When she emerged onto the unlit stage and saw all the speakers on one side in a pile, along with a woman in a very frilly pink dress. Muttering under her breath she asked nobody in particular, "What the hell?"
*****
Lia was just leaning back into Talbot when he made some remark about being the luckiest angel in heaven and she couldn't help but snicker. "Angel huh? I don't think so lover. You're no more an angel than I am." After saying that she turned her head and gave him a quick nip on the chin.
She had just turned to face Talbot when another familiar male voice came to her attention and the smile that was already on her face grew. "Oh look, my other favorite Custos!" she said after Cian kissed both her and Talbot. When Cian commented on his costume she laughed and reached out to finger the itchy looking material of his shirt. After just barely brushing her fingers across it she pulled her hand back and teased, "You feel like a hedgehog Cian, this shirt is um... not your style at all." She knew he'd said not to comment on his shirt but it was too awful for her not to...
The loud crashing from the stage area caused Lia to give a soft squeak as she jumped and bumped into Talbot. She whirled her head around and the sight of Cera in a pile with some of the band's speakers brought a lump to her throat. The poor girl just had no luck sometimes... "Cian, you better go rescue your damsel in distress. Some of the band members look ready to eat her."

"Dancing?!" Dominic managed to ask as L shoved him towards the bar. Lysander apparently decided to ignore his question though and instead went off about how tonight was not just a normal night out at the bar. And Dominic suddenly realized just how far in over his head he was. He was at a club with L. Just them. And he knew L's intentions weren't so good.
When the older vampire told Dominic to be adventurous with his drinks Dominic had to swallow a few times before he could speak. "L, I'm not much of a drinker really. At least I wasn't until recently... And when I do drink its normally just beer or the stuff Andy gives us." As he'd talked, Dominic had tried to ignore the arm that had slipped around his waist but once he quit, Dominic couldn't help but stiffen. He had agreed to come to the party because he needed to do something besides go to the bar. And he certainly couldn't go to the bar by himself, that would just be silly. Andy would likely ask if he and L had had a fight or something rediculous. Most people at the bar already considered Dominic and L lovers.... Everybody but Dominic that is.
When there was a loud crash, Dominic jumped like many of the other people standing at the bar. he just happened to jump closer into L's embrace and he immediately backed off as he felt the heat rise up his neck to his face. "Shit," he mumbled to himself. He hadn't meant to give L another reason to consider him a lost puppy but jumping at a loud noise would just emphasize his normal jumpiness and do just that.

Kaydence had finally managed to settle on the couch and calm her own energy, let alone Shadow's incessant grumbling for action, and was enjoying her band mates' banter. Once the crash sounded she up out of her seat in a heartbeat, moving out to the stage with the rest of the band. At first she had also though their kitsune techie had managed to fall, but blinked at the sight before her. 'How the hell did someone manage to knock over a speaker already?'
She sighed and hopped off the stage, bending down to help a few others pick the girl up. Since people weren't her specialty (out side of her band mates and brother) she gave the girl a once over for injuries before she checked on the poor speaker. That's when her sensitive ears picked up someone calling out her name from across the club. She knew that voice and her personality did a complete 180. She whipped around with a huge grin on her face, clapping when she caught sight of her brother. "Caleb! What the hell are you dressed as?" She chuckled at the costume of choice.
***
Caleb's attention had been drawn to the clamor by the stage, as were most people's. He frowned when he saw a girl had fallen along with one of the speakers, but we relieved when people came rushing off the stage to help her. That was when he caught sight of his baby sister. He snorted at her basic indifference to the poor girl, only making sure she hadn't injured herself before ignoring her and turning to the equipment. He waved his hand and called out to her "Hey, Kay!"
He knew she'd hear him, and he was grinning like a loon when she turned into the gushing little sister he knew from his childhood. She was only like that around him, and he loved the attention from his only family. At her reaction to his costume he pulled the costume's cape up to his nose, raising an eyebrow. "I am Dracula." He couldn't help but snicker at his own antics.
***
Talbot smirked at Lia's comment, the mischievous look in eye doubling in intensity as she nipped at him. He nipped back, choosing her shoulder as his target and absently wondered how he was going to keep his hands to himself with the costume Lia had chosen. His attention was brought to the approaching Cian as Lia turned around in his arms to greet him. He accepted the kiss, used to the friendly affectionate gesture given in public, before he noticed Cian's outfit.
He started to snicker, the evil gleam in his eyes letting the poor Incubus know exactly what the was thinking about saying, but he held it in. It was much harder not to comment than he thought it would be, but he couldn't hold in his chuckle when Lia told him he looked like a hedgehog.
With the loud crash he diverted his attention again, seeing the object of Cian's current affections in a bit of trouble. He helped Lia shoo the boy off to help poor Cera and once he was out of earshot he whispered to Lia, a smirk on his face. "Cian must have it bad for the girl if let Cera dress him like that, even if it's only temporary."

Nikolas smiled at Demeter. He was hoping to make this into a date-type night, having missed having the woman around over the years. The fact that she was the mother of his child only made his desire to get back together with her stronger. He chuckled at the mention of his son. "I'm sure the costume was an amusing one. I'll drop by tomorrow if I can. I have to return the guns after all." He smirked as he motioned towards the neon colored water guns resting in the holster around his waist.
He groaned at the thought of Rowan with candy. The boy had enough energy on his own, rivaling that of both of his siblings that that age. His attention was brought to the man at the bar as he heard Demeter mention Dominic. He blinked, the man sure looked at though he were Dominic. "I didn't get to see him as often as you did, but that sure does look like him. And he looks to have a new friend..."

At the sound of clattering equirpment coming right on the heels of Erika standing next to him caused Cian to groan. "Erika, I thought you were supposed to be watching her," he muttered as he slowly turned around to watch his girl flounder around near the fallen speakers. "And yes, there will be alcohol in her drinks tonight."
Cian wadded through the crowd of people staring at Cera, using his elbows when needed until he reached her side. "I can't leave you along for five minutes, can I?" he muttered under his breathe will helping Cera off the ground, turning to the band members while pushing her behind his back. "I'm so sorry about Cera. She gets nervous in situations like this, she's pretty much a complete goody two shoes. You can bill me for any damages. Just ask tonights bartender for my information," Cian back away from the stage, smiling at the band.
Once he was a near the staircase that led to the upper floor, Cian turned and hurried Cera up the stairs. "You should be just fine up here. Now, just stay at this table and wait for me to get back with the drinks and the rest of the group." After settling Cera at a table near the railing, Cian hurried down the stairs and to the bar. He pointed at Erika. "You, go watch your sister. I'll be up with the alcohol in a moment. Will the two of you be joining us?" Cian asked Tale and Lia, grinning when he spotted Lia's costume for the first time. Filmy and Pink. "Lia, dear, you should know better by now. We will be dancing later. I hope you don't mind Tale"

L, dispite the noise, grinned when Dominic jumped into him. Before the man managed to get away, L gave his waist a quick squeeze and turned to watch the ongoings. The man who'd been part of the trio of pretty people was helping the young woman out of the jumble of stage equipment. Well darn, L thought and gave a side glance to Dominic. "Well, you don't have to dance with me. I just want you to have a little fun tonight, Dominic." L patted the man on the shoulder and turned when the pretty man returned to the bar. "Hello, My name is Lysander. What's yours?" When the man grinned at L, L grinned back and turned the whole of his body towards him.
***
Demeter giggled. "I'd say more then a new friend," she said, watching as the man next to Dominic growled at a couple of young girls admirring Dominic. "Well, lets let him do whatever he wants. I want to dance with you tonight."
Demeter grabbed Nikolas by the arm and dragged him to the floor. The band hadn't started and was even further delayed by that young girls fall into the speakers but there was music pumping out over the club's stero system. "Rowan's babysitter is paid to watch him for the night so I'm all yours."

Lia snickered at Talbot's comment about Cian once the other man was out of earshot. Snuggling close to Talbot, Lia answered sarcastically, "Ya think?" In all honestly she totally agreed with Talbot on the matter of Cian's level if infatuation. She didn't know the other incubus as well as Talbot did but she knew him fairly well considering the amount of time she -had- known him. As she watched Cian and the band and stage crew members helping Cera up and tidying up the speakers that had crashed to the ground, she couldn't keep a smirk off her face. Cian really did have it bad...
By the time Cian got back from getting Cera settled somewhere, Lia had gotten Sooz's attention again and was chatting with her joking about some of the costumes people were wearing. She'd already seen one person dressed in a costume that would have been much more appropriate for Easter... She'd just caught her breath from laughing at the giant pastel yellow bunny when Cian came back and asked if she and Talbot would be joining him and Cera upstairs. After he had asked, Lia saw the look in Cian's eyes changed and she gave an evil grin as he finally noticed her costume. All she could think was, *Its about damn time!*

Feeling L's arms tighten about his waist, Dominic resisted the urge to squeak and just froze where he was. After a moment, L released the squeeze and Dominic relaxed instantly. He'd not expected L to take such steps so quickly but hell, the older vampire had delcared his intentions the first morning that Dominic accidentally woke up in his bed. He really shouldn't have been surprised.
When L started talking to him again, this time about not having to actually dance with him but how he just wanted Dominic to have fun, Dominic shoved the twinges of fear to the back of his mind. He was just about to voice a compromise of the dancing (dancing together but not as a couple) when L's attention was snatched away by a man Dominic figured L found attractive.
Dominic watched as the older vampire's body language changed and his tone of voice changed as well, ever so slightly. He'd seen those changes first hand, had had them used on him and Dominic was actually rather offended that L would use them on another man while he was standing right there. L had actually turned his back on Dominic to pay attention to the other man and against his will, Dominic felt himself bristle at the insult. Before he could stop himself, Dominic had slung an arm over L's shoulders and leaned into the man, resting his chin on L's shoulder. "Who're you talking to L?" he asked perfectly innocently as he waited for a reaction from both men. He had to fight really hard to ignore the warning sirens in his head, he knew he was likely giving L the wrong signals but he didn't like being dropped like that just because another pretty face came around.

Kaydence rolled her eyes at Caleb's cheesy accent and his childish antics, but she couldn't keep the smile off her face. She wrapped her arm around his, how they used to walk home together after school as children, and practically dragged him towards the stage where the rest of her band mates were still congregating. "You know, you're the biggest dork. But your my older brother, so I guess I have to deal with it."
Caleb chuckled at Kay's comment, shaking his head. "Yeah, that's right. I'm family and you can't get rid of me, so get used to me. So are you introducing me to your friends?" He smiled when she nodded, excited to finally get to meet the band his sister played with. She always spoke of them, and it seemed she was happy having them around. 'At least she's not so anti-social anymore,' he thought to himself.
They got up to the band and both siblings had smiles on their faces. Kay pulled her brother closer as stepped away to introduce him, as if showing him off like a prized possession. "Hey guys, this is my older brother, Caleb."

Talbot snickered when Cian finally noticed Lia's costume. When the Incubus mentioned dancing with his Lia he pulled her close and gave a mock growl, but it morphed into a chuckle. "Well of course you can dance with Lia, but... I get to dance with her first. And I want a dance with you once you manage to shed that itchy thing." Tale made a gesture to signify that he had been talking about the shirt.
Tale noticed that their usual drinks, as well as a couple others, where already sitting on the bar. He flashed a grin at Sooz and snatched up his and Lia's drinks. He handed Lia's over to her as he took a mouthful of his own. He could only assume the extra two drinks were for Cera and Erika. His kissed Lia's neck, out of habit really, before he noticed the two men behind Cian.

Nikolas just shook his head. He was never able to figure some people out, so he gave up on trying decades ago. He just settled for chuckling when Demeter began dragging him towards the dance floor. He moved to catch up to her, now willingly following her into the sparse yet growing crowd. "Now hold on there, lil' Lady. What about our drinks?"
He didn't even try to pull her back towards the bar, however, content to get the chance to be close to her once more. He smirked, head tilting to the side as he heard her comment. "Oh really? All mine, you say?" He pulled her closer as they started swaying to the music.
