Vampire? Like Dracula? At the moment, Cayle didn't care if the man came back wearing a grass skirt and performed a hula dance. His neck still hurt and he wasn't sure that he could feel his toes. "Could we, maybe, get off the floor?" he asked, tucking his head against Cayle's shoulder.
Cayle bit his lip when the cool air of store hit the wound on his neck. He hissed as the wound stung. "Blood bastard," he muttered under his breathe. Vampire or not, he'd like to wring the creatures scrawny neck. When Tee spoke of turning, Cayle whimpered. "How bad will it be?" and then he thought of something else. With his brain fuddled by pain, Cayle wasn't thinking quite right. "Am I going to die?" and then an even more important question swam into his mind. "Will I still be able to ride my bikes?"
Cayle dropped his forhead against Tee's shoulder. "What happened to you?"

Tiegen was more than willing to oblige with getting off of the floor. It would probably help to warm Cayle up a bit if they moved to a more comfortable and softer place. He kissed his forhead when he hissed, then proceeded to lift him up bridal style.
Caring someone wasn't too much of a burden - a plus to being a vampire - so he intended to carry Cayle to his upstairs apartment and right into bed. There he would be more comfortable. As they made their way he began answering Cayle's questions. "Turning is different for everyone, but its usually never a walk in the park. And no, you aren't going to die. This won't be like some Dracula movie. You'll be alive, just... different."
Tee couldn't help but chuckle when he heard Cayle ask about his bikes. "Of course you'll still be able to ride your bikes. And in the day light, no less." By the time Cayle had gotten around to asking him what had happened to him they were already in his apartment. Tiegen brought them into the bedroom and sat down on the bed, settling Cayle in his lap. "I had a vampire lover who didn't like the fact that I was leaving him for a woman, or at all really. He thought turning me would force me to stay with him, but I knew enough and had enough trusted vampire friends that I could still leave him and learn to live with my new condition."

Cayle snorted. "Bastard. What will I become if this isn't like Dracula." Or this call be just some weird dream, he thought, seeing as how he wasn't freaking out. One would think that one should be freaking out because one was just attacked by a madman with fangs and then told that one was going to become a vampire of things. Those were only supposed to live in fiction, weren't they? Or maybe he was saving the freaking out portion of the night for another time, when he wasn't so cold and wasn't starting to grow sleepy.
He shifted against Tee, trying to find a comfortable thought. And then practicle side of his brain decided to pop up, now that he wasn't curled up in shock. "Tee...did you lock the store door before coming up?" Odd question to ask when being turned into a vampire but he had to know. Once the older vampire was off locking the door and closing up the store, Cayle wasn't no time in burrowing under his covers. He'd slowly, painfully, stripped his socks and jeans off, convinced that no person in their right mind could sleep in such clothing, before snuggling under the thick comforter and flannel sheets. They were cold but quickly warmed up.
Cayle waited for Tee to return. He'd have questions for the man eventually and he'd promised to stay with him. Would he stay after the turning? What was it like to be a vampire? and how the hell could he still go out in daylight. Maybe not Dracula but that went against everything Cayle had knew about vampires. While he waited, Cayle drifted off to sleep.
(ooc: okay, so Cayle decided to sleep through his turning. Or that might be because all I want to do is curl back into my bed and no go to work)

Tiegen knew Cayle wouldn't be able to fully comprehend being a vampire until he experienced it, especially after living his whole life with the notion that vampires were like they were depicted in the movies. "Well... you'll be you, with a few added abilities, and because of those abilities you'll need to drink blood from time to time." He wasn't too surprised that Cayle hadn't freaked out yet. Everyone reacted differently, in fact, when Tee had been turned he hadn't even been that worried about the process of turning. Then again, he had also known vampires and all about what they really were really like.
He blinked when Cayle suddenly asked if he locked up the store. Tiegen cursed under his breath, an obvious admission that he had not, in fact, locked the doors. He had been too busy worrying about Cayle and how he would take the news. He made sure Cayle was laying down and moderately comfortable looking before brushing a hand through his hair and rushing off to go lock up the store.
Store management wasn't exactly his specialty, but just closing and locking the doors seemed simple enough. Tee eyed the store one last time to be absolutely sure it was empty before he closed the door and flipped the lock. Once he was finished locking up the store he headed back upstairs. It would be a long few days, since he figured Cayle would need a little while to let the -real- facts about vampires sink in. Tiegen was thinking about whether he should call a few of his friends and let them know he'd be busy for a bit.
By the time Tiegen worked his way back up into the apartment (locking the door behind him there, as well) Cayle was already asleep. He smiled at the sight, and hoped Cayle could sleep through the whole turning. It would be easier on him that way. Tee kicked off his own shoes and jeans and popped off the lenses of his glasses to toss them onto the bedside table, but he left the bar in the bridge of his nose. He carefully crawled into the bed behind Cayle and snuggled right up to his back. He draped an arm over his waist and held him close, hoping it would help keep him warm, and lightly kissed the back of his neck.
Tiegen wasn't planning on falling asleep, only adding extra warmth and wanting to be close if Cayle needed him, but soon the warmth and closeness lulled him to sleep.

When Cayle woke up it was to sun shining into his bedroom windows and a blinding headache. Groaning, he turned into the warmth on his left side and burrowed down under the covers. Normally, a bit of darkness and sleep tended to cure headaches but what if he woke up with a headache? Cayle inhaled and hummed as he took in the scent of Tee. It wasn't often that one of them stayed overnight with the other but when they did, the mornings were often fun.
Cayle nuzzled Tee's neck as he wondered what he could have for breakfast. Maybe he could eat breakfast off Tee's chest. Hmm...Tee smelled good. Cayle scooted closer, tossing a leg over Tee's hips and licked the man's neck. It was morning and Cayle was having a normal, morning time reaction to the close proximity of Tee. Cayle's body easily recognized the man.
Cayle sucked on Tee's neck, his free hand fisted into Tee's hair. He absently wondered when the man would wake up and what...morning exercises they could get into.

The first thing that Tiegen noticed as he began to wake was that he was very warm, and someone was doing something very pleasant to his neck. He shifted a little, noticing the leg thrown over his hips, and that the "someone" doing pleasant things to his neck was most definitely male. Tee gave a little moan as body quickly recognized Cayle and started to respond as if nothing was different.
As his brain started to function, however, Tee quickly realized something was wrong. Memory of the previous night came flooding back to him and he gasped as he realized just what was going on. His eyes shot open and he fisted Cayle's hair, not tight enough to cause pain, but at the ready to pull him back if he seemed like he was going to bite down. "Cayle..... Cayle!"
Tiegen knew that, as a new vampire, Cayle would need blood soon, but he also knew how much he could take the first time if left to continue. Tee was a little leery about how fast Cayle was succumbing to instinct.

Cayle looked up at Tee, pleased that he'd managed to wake the man up by touch alone. He pulled back from Tee's neck, pleased that he'd left a red circle on the flesh and rested his chin in Tee's chest. "Good morning. Exactly what did we get up to last night? I don't remember a thing. Must of gotten up to something if you stayed over."
Cayle rolled away and groaned when he was confronted with the sun. His headache flared back to life and he ducked his head under his pillow. "Man, how much did I have to drink last night? My head is killing me." Cayle kept his head under the pillow but he did reach out and felt around for Tee's hand. He gripped it and pulled it under the covers. He kissed the hand and lingered over the taste of salty flesh. He winced a bit as the muscles pulled in his neck. Must have slept funny. He slapped a hand onto his neck to soothe the sore muscles and stopped when he felt the slight depression marks. "Tee...did you bit me last night or something? I mean, we haven't done anything like that but hey, if you enjoy that sort of thing, that's okay."

Tiegen couldn't believe it. He absolutely couldn't believe this could be happening. The bloody bastard -forgot-?! He had never heard of anyone forgetting. Then again, he understood that from a logical standpoint he could have repressed it. Tee was more frustrated that he would have to explain all this again, only this time, Cayle was conscious and lucid.
He gave a sigh when Cayle discovered his bite mark. It was now or never. "I didn't bite you, Cayle. You really don't remember anything?" When he got confirmation, Tee sighed again. "You were attacked last night. You said it was the last customer of the day, that he had refused to leave. He bit you."
Tee sat up in bed to look down at Cayle, or at least at the pillow covering his head. "You were attacked and bitten by a vampire, Cayle. A vampire like me." Now, all he could do was wait and see how Cayle would react. And judging by how he had equated vampires to Dracula the night before, he probably wasn't going to believe him. Tiegen would just need to convince him before he let him out of the apartment by himself.

Attacked? Vampire? Tee was a vampire? What the hell was the man on?
And then it all came flooding back. The man in the long black coat, being dragged down behind the counter, the shocking pain of something being driven into his neck and the pull of his blood being drawn out. Being held by Tee and how warm he'd bed. The questions he'd asked Tee. Cayle was glad that his face was hidden under the pillow because he was sure that he was blushing. He can't believe he'd asked about still being able to ride his bikes. Attacked by some living dead thing and the only thing he can think of is his bikes.
He kept hold of Tiegan, squeezing to kept the man in place. He quickly took stock of the situation. He still had a pulse so he wasn't the undead favored by movies. If Tee was also a vampire, they could obviously prance around in the sun because the photo shoot had been held in full sun. And they could eat, Lord knew that Tee could put away pounds of pasta when they were in the midst of a bedroom marathon. So, apparently, fiction vampires were simply fiction.
Cayle lifted the pillow away and yanked Tee down . "So, what happens now? I'm a vampire right, so does that mean blood? And can I still eat garlic. I love garlic. And we can obviously go in the sun but what are the limits on that? How about mirrors, can we still look at mirrors?"
He grinned at the gobsmacked expression on Tee's face. "What, did you expect me to freak out or something? Well, let me tell you something." He straddled his lover, somewhat disappointed that he was mostly clothed. "I've always had this...fetish, I guess you could call it, for vampires. Had I know that you were a vampire from the very start of this thing, I'd have been all over you. You would have found yourself on the show room grand without any clothing and probably before you consented to piano sex."
"Okay, granted, this probably means some major life changes but I think I can handle it. Do I get any nifty powers?"

There was a moment, a certain instance that Tiegen was preparing himself for. He didn't respond initially, but when Cayle started squeezing his hand, the thought it was going to be the start of his freak-out. Tee started bracing himself, not knowing if Cayle was going to lash out, and let out a hiss of surprise as he was suddenly pulled down towards Cayle.
At first he just hovered over the man, blinking as he began spouting off his questions, his mind filled with the words being spoken but none of which were getting comprehended. Tiegen gave a rather undignified squeak (a noise he would never admit to making) as he was effectively rolled and straddled. He just listened as Cayle continued to speak, his brain just then starting to catch up with the whole situation.
Once Cayle stopped speaking, there was still no response from Tiegen right away. After a moment he just couldn't help himself - he started laughing, hard. Tee just couldn't help but see the irony and absurdity of it all. Go figure he would find someone who was almost as calm about being turned as he had been. As he calmed down he wiped away a tear or two that had escaped during his fit of laughter before reaching up and pulling Cayle down for a quick kiss. As he pulled back he rolled the two of them so they lay on their sides.
Tiegen brushed a hand over Cayle's face, still smiling fully. "Oh Gods, how I adore you." It was said without thought, but it had been meant. "Yes, being a vampire means blood, and yes, you can still eat garlic. You'll sunburn much faster than you would have before, and bright sunlight will probably bother your eyes more than it normally would have. And yes, we can still look into mirrors." He ended his little spiel with a kiss, a bit longer and more involved than the earlier one. "And about that little fetish... we're going to have to explore that one."
"As far as powers.... yes. Though, I have yet to see just what ones you'll end up with. I can rule one out, at least, since you didn't burn me, melt something, or light anything on fire."

Cayle blinked when Tee laughed. When he said how much he adored him, Cayle blushed bright red. He burrowed his head against Tee's chest. When Tee mentioned about explore his vampire fetish, Cayle got this little wicked grin on his face and lightly nipped Tee's chest. Yes, they would be exploring the vampire fetish.
"There's more then one kind of nifty power?" Cayle asked, picking his face up when Tee mentioned about not setting things of fire. "How many nifty powers are there? What kind are you? How would we tell what I was gifted with? How do you use these nifty powers? When will we find out what I have? Do you really think that I'm adorable?"
He asked the questions in a rapid fire fashion, leaning his chin on Tee's chest. He stared up at the man, tilted his head to the left and asked the obvious question. "So, if you're a Vampire, how old are you?"

Tiegen gave a little purr when Cayle nipped at his chest... oh yes, they would be exploring the vampire fetish. It would at least be a bit of a relief to know he could nip at his lover without the fear of drawing blood, and potentially temping himself into turning him. After all, he was already a vampire now.
The smile just spread across Tee's face as Cayle continued to spit questions out in rapid fire, wondering how far he would get and if he's be able to remember them all before his lover gave him the chance to respond. He paused just a moment longer to make sure Cayle was finished, and was rewarded with one more question. "There are seven bloodlines in all, each able to do different things. I am a Sadira, which means I can manipulate the element of water. Using them will become instinct to you, and we'll find which one you have by chance really..."
He leaned forward and kissed Cayle on the nose. "And yes, I think you're adorable." Tiegen always hesitated to answer the age question. He wasn't anywhere near old as some, but it could still freak people out. "As for how old I am... I'm 74."

Cayle smirked. "You are a very good looking seventy four year old man. You are also very flexable for a seventy four year old man. And you perform very well for a seventy four year old man." Cayle rolled off the bed and stood, stretching the early morning sunlight. "Did you feel this energized after you were turned?"
Cayle stared down at the man still in his bed. "Though it would be very tempting to crawl back into bed with you. Spend the morning doing nothing but exploring this vampire fetish of mine." Cayle kneeled down on the bed. "I would love to do this but I'd like the get the stink of evil vampire dude off my skin."
Cayle scooted towards the bathroom. "Would you like to join me in the shower?" Cayle's shower was small but that only meant that they'd be closer together.

Tiegen rolled his eyes a bit, never having heard his age spoken that many times so close together. He eyed Cayle as he stretched and smirked a bit, thinking of all the things they could be doing if he just yanked the man back into bed. "No.. no, I don't believe I was that energetic."
Oh, he was so close once he kneeled back onto the bed, and Tee couldn't help but reach out to run his hands over Cayle's legs. He stilled when his lover mentioned getting a shower, and almost started to pout before he heard his invitation to join him. A wicked grin spreading over his face as he watched Cayle shift towards the bathroom.
Tee crawled out of bed. "I'd love to join you in the shower." He slipped his arms around Cayle's waist and continued walking towards the bathroom.

Cayle reached behind the shower curtian and turned the water on, spinning the knob to just above luke warm. He looked over at Tee. "I suppose we should strip. After all, we shouldn't shower in our clothes. That would defeat the purpose, and create a big mess. And I do enjoy it when you are naked rather then clothed."
Cayle stripped out of his remaining clothing, motioning for Tee to do that same. Once they were both stripped of their clothing, Cayle grabbed Tee's hand and pulled him into the shower stall. Barely enough room for the both of them, he thought as water rained down on his head, but he didn't mind. He figured that by the time the shower was done, one of them would end up against the wall.
Cayle reached behind Tee and picked up the bottle of body wash and the seasponge he used and handed them to the man sharing his shower. He turned his back to Tee. "Wash my back for me?"

Tiegen was snickering, as he very much enjoyed when Cayle was naked instead of clothed as well. He detached himself from the man, leaning back against the door to watch him strip down, just enjoying the view until Cayle motioned for him to get rid of his clothes as well. Tee quickly stripped down and slid into the shower stall behind his lover.
It was a tight fit, but it would most likely end up being a fun one. He was just glad he had thought to remove his glasses. The strip show of his lover had been a bit blurry, but he steam of the shower would have fogged up the glasses and driven him nuts.
He purred and gladly took the body wash and sponge. Not only did he love being able to touch Cayle freely, but the man most certainly deserved it after what he'd been through over the past 24 hours. Tee scrubbed the now soapy sponge over Cayle's back, kissing the back of his neck as the sponge started wandering lower.

Cayle groaned as he felt the sponge wash the skin on his lower back while Tee kissed the back on his neck. Cayle leaned back against his lover. He pulled Tee's head around to kiss the man on the mouth. For the moment he forgot about vampires and turning and just focused on Tee.
Eventually he turned around and started a full frontal attack on Tee. With the water beating down on his back, effectivly washing away the soap, and the very lovely, very naked, and very wet man in front of him, Cayle was a very happy man. If he'd been a cat, he'd be purring. Cayle pulled away for a moment and studied Tee. "So, are you gonna stick around for breakfast? I'll probably have more questions by then but for now I find the need to further the debuachery of you. How well, do you think, would your back handle the bathroom floor. Or, hell, the shower wall?

Tiegen was quite happy to hear Cayle's groan, knowing it was a noise made from enjoyment. He made no protest when he was pulled around to be kissed properly, and gave back as good as he got. Tee dropped the sponge, wanting to have both of his hands to touch his lover with as he turned to face him.
He gave him another kiss, a quick peck, before he answered. "Of course, I'll stick around until you're moderately settled and fed." Tee meant fed in -both- manners, but he would explain that to Cayle after the man ravished him in the shower. It would most likely work up their appetites anyway. "And my back will handle either just fine, though for sanities sake, I think you should go with the shower wall."
After all, there was no way he would be able to stand wasting time with getting out of the shower only to lay out on the floor.

When Cayle stumbled out of the shower, then water had gone ice cold. He wrapped a fuzzy, green towel around his waist and wiped away steam from the mirror. Lord but Tee could fog up his mind very easily. Didn't take much work but he managed it every single time. He leaned against the wall mounted sink and stared into the small space of mirror he clared.
He turned his neck this way and that but he couldn't find bite marks. He craned his neck around and found the two, small circles of pink flesh. He looked over his shoulder at Tee. "So the whole healing faster thing is true then?"
After discovering the healed bite marks, Cayle inspected the rest of the body. He was only slightly disappointed that most of his old scars still remained, Granted, some of thing were badges of honor but the more embarssing ones he could do without.
He turned to look at Tee. "So, now that we've cleaned up, we should probably talk about food."

Tiegen hadn't really minded when the water started to cool off, but once it started to get too cold he hissed at it. It was ruining the mood a bit, even though they had already thoroughly enjoyed their shower, and he stumbled out of the stall after his lover. Cayle had kept his promise of of further debauchery, and it had worked up his own appetite, so he could only imagine that it had worked up Cayle's as well.
He grabbed another towel and gave himself a quick dry, mostly to warm himself a bit, before tucking the fluffy fabric around his waist. Tee looked up when he heard Cayle ask about healing. "Yeah, we heal much faster, though the more blood lost because the wound the slower the healing process."
Resting his hip against the sink Tee face Cayle, giving in a peck on the lips. An affectionate gesture more than anything. "Food most certainly would be our next topic. Though, there may be more to that talk than you might think right now." He hesitated. Tiegen had seen most people that had been calm with the whole even of turning begin to freak out when they realized they would need to drink blood. He hoped Cayle would stay as calm as he'd been thus far.
