"Yes, Mother, I lock my doors at night." Cayle contemplated his Ducati. He'd just washed the bike and was wondering if she needed to be waxed. It would be a way to get his mother off the phone. Not that he thought it was possible. "No, Mother, I don't answer the door when I don't know who is on the other side." Cayle wondered if the pizza man, a constant stranger in his life counted. He slid a glance towards the back of the store, wondering if a false emergency could get her off the phone.
He narrowed his eyes. The back door, with it's view straight through to the main show room, was wide open and he couldn't see the teen he'd hired to help him mind the store. Probably drooling over the sound booth equipment again. A missing assistant counted as an emergency, didn't it? "Look, Mother, I have to go. My hired help has wondered off." Again, he slightly added while listening to his mother's last minute warnings about not opening his door if he doesn't know the person on the other side.
He clicked off the phone, effectively cutting her off, and tossed it onto the pile of towels he'd used to dry the bike off. He'd get it from her later for doing that but he really wanted to go catch his assistant in the act of not minding the store. He jogged through the backroom, rounded the shiny baby grand he currently had on sale, a much rattier version was upstairs in his apartment, and headed for the sound booth. Sure enough, Henry was hovering over the equipment and nearly drooling, though Cayle wasn't sure what the man was drooling over; the equipment or the twin girls recording a song for their mother. Given the teenage hormones that Henry had in abundance, he voted for the girls.
"Henry," he barked out, smirking in smug pleasure when the boy yelped and jumped. "Get back to the register, now!" He laughed when the boy scrambled for the front of the store and followed him out. "I catch you abandoning your post again and I'm firing you. I didn't hire you so that you could drool over young women. I hired you so I get could spend more time doing something besides running the store." He lectured while he walked, feeling comfortable in doing so because Henry was a distant cousin.
He paused at the baby grand and took in the man browsing the sheet music he had for pianos. Pretty, was his first thought. The second was that his mother would very disappointed in him because he wouldn't just open the door to this stranger. He'd probably thrown open the door and drag the man into his apartment. And then lock him in the bedroom. That would, of course, lead to a very uncomfortable conversion about just how he liked to sleep with men. Which neither mother or son were ready for.
Still, Cayle thought while eying up the pretty man, wasn't a bad idea. Maybe take him for a ride on the back of the Harley and then take him for a actual ride on the back of the Harley. Shaking his head, as if that made the dirty thoughts go away, Cayle glanced at Henry. Who stood meekly behind the counter, straitening the pile of flyers he had on display. Guessing that the boy wasn't going to help the pretty man, Cayle shoved all the dirty thoughts into a corner of his mind, clear his throat, and crossed the scared, hard wood floor to the man. "Excuse me, but is there anything I can help you with?" he said, hands folded behind his back.

Tiegen had been growing bored over the past few weeks. He always had something interesting going on at work, but he had been running out of books to read and was getting dangerously low on sheet music for his precious baby grand that took up the majority of what should be his dining room. That was what brought him to be lurking down the street looking for the music store he had spotted the other day.
While he had been sad to find out the place he used to go had gone out of business, this place looked promising. He opened the door, and excited smile on his face as he took a glance around. His eyes widened when he saw the store even had a sound booth, and Tee couldn't help but chuckle when he saw the teenage boy practically drooling over the girls currently using said booth. Ah, how he loved those days. Though, while he was much older now, he still had a healthy dose of hormones.
He caught sight of the wall of sheet music and a beeline for it, and after only a few moments he had already plucked a classical piece he had been searching for while he looked for anything else that captured his attention. Tiegen's eyes flicked off to the side as he noticed a man skirting around the baby grand that was looking a little better than his own. Once he started lecturing the poor teen about neglecting his duties a smile started to creep over Tee's face. So, this was the owner, was it?
Tee almost felt bad for the kid, but he did always like hearing a good looking young man using that 'take-no-crap' tone. He also liked -using- that tone on good looking young men. Preferably near a bed or other relatively flat surface, but had learned long ago that not all people were as open minded as he was. Pity, really. So he turned his attention back to the wall of music and let out a little sigh. There was so much to choose from, and he wasn't sure quite what he was in the mood for.
When he heard that voice exponentially closer and using a much friendlier tone, he turned. A smile came to Tiegen's face the instant he realized the man was speaking to him and he couldn't quite keep his mouth from running away with him when he replied. "I'm sure there is." He paused to make sure the man didn't take offense to the way he spoke that little comment. "I'm looking for something new to play and I'm at a loss. I've been looking for this piece for a while" waving the sheet music he already had in his hand for emphasis "but I'm not really sure what else would be a good challenge. Do you have any suggestions?"

Cayle flicked his eyes away from his study of the pretty man to the rows and stacks and piles of sheet music. He also thought about the piles and boxes and shelves up in what would have been a second bedroom had he wanted a second bedroom. Something that would be a good challenge, huh? Cayle narrowed his eyes and focused in on the display of music propped up at the baby grand. He skittered over, plucked it off and returned to the man. The notes were handwritten and paper showed multiple eraser marks. Not his but that of a friend who wanted to get his stuff out there.
He offered the sheets to the man. "This is new. Very new." Mitch had just handed it to him that morning after going on a three day writing binge. Cayle stepped to the side and gestured to the piano. Would you like to try it out for yourself? I'm Cayle, owner of the store." He stroked a hand over the glossy black surface of the piano. "And this lovely is in tune."
Henry the hired help stood behind his counter giving the newcomer the fish eye. Unlike his idiot distant cousin, he knew A Dark One when he saw one. Cayle probably thought he was just a shade of normal but Henry knew better. His own sister was a Dark One, granted she was a somewhat of the perky cheerleader type even if she was a Dark One. Cayle probably wouldn't know a Dark One if one came up and slapped him silly. Henry wondered if he should tell Cayle and then he thought of the twins in the sound booth and thought not. Let the man find out on his own.
Cayle glanced over his shoulder to see Henry looking everywhere but at the piano. He turned his attention back to Tee, for that is how the man had introduced himself. Tee would look very pretty on the back of the Harley, if he could just get him there. Tee also looked very nice standing next to the baby grand and running his fingers over the keys. Tee would probably look very nice standing next to the baby grand upstairs...
Damn this country and it's habit of discouraging certain lifestyles. It certainly made it harder to determine if Tee would or wouldn't mind standing next to the baby grand upstairs. Or, and this is how Cayle would have preferred to see the man, sprawled on the baby grand upstairs. Not quite sure where these thoughts were coming from, Cayle smiled at Tee and set the sheet music back up. "Please, give it a try and see if you like the piece. I have several more from the same composer upstairs." Mitch had shoved a cardboard box full of frantically written sheet music at him. "If you like, after you test it out, we could go upstairs and see what else I have that could possibly tempt you. I'm always willing to cater to the needs of new customers."
Christ, if his mother was here she'd have fainted dead away and then, after she'd come around, she'd have grabbed him by the ear and hauled him out of the room screeching about what a disgrace his was to the family. Her son did not invite random strangers up to play his piano, much less sprawl themselves across said piano...
Good thing his mother wasn't here.

Tiegen watched curiously as the man moved away from the wall of music and towards the piano for sale, coming back quickly with sheets of music he hadn't noticed there before. He was smiling when he noticed it was hand written. He was about to ask whether the man had written it himself when he was distracted by Cayle introducing himself and offering the use of the lovely looking baby grand to test out the music.
He was instantly wandering towards the baby grand, running his hands over the keys lightly before pressing down and pulling a few notes from the beauty. Gods, he loved that sound. He suddenly realized he hadn't introduced himself and glanced up. "I'm Tiegen, by the way, but you can call me Tee. Most do." Tee sat at the bench and set the music up, once again about to ask if it was Cayle who had written it, but soon got his answer when he offered more pieces by the mystery composer. He gave a mildly coy smile at the invitation to join him upstairs if he liked the pieces.
Tiegen was quite certain that Cayle had a great many things that could tempt him, but most of what came to mind was not music related at all. Well, unless you count the naughty little image he had of the two of them sprawled across the top of the baby grand, or perhaps that of the one upstairs. He pushed those thoughts from his head in order to concentrate on the situation at hand.
"I'm sure there will be a great many that temp me. I'm always up for something new and challenging." He had begun fiddling with the keys, playing out the first few notes of the piece in front of him, and was already liking it. It was fresh and new, not just the notes to a song already written and recorded. Tiegen glanced up as he kept playing. "I have to say, I already like it. You said you had more?" Tee found himself wondering if 'upstairs' was office space or if it was a personal living space, and just what he was going to do about it if it was the latter.

"Yeah, I got a ton more. The composer is a friend, of sorts. This way," He motioned for Tee to follow him and led the way through the small storage space, through the equally small yard that his Duc currently dominated and up the somewhat rickety back staircase. He'd had a hell of a time getting the baby grand into the upstairs apartment. In the end, he'd put in a sliding door just get to the piano into his apartment. Of course, if somewhat tried to step out of the sliding door, they'd end up splattered on his back patio.
Cayle unlocked the door, tossed the keys onto the small table kept for that purpose and headed for the second bedroom and the box of Mitch's songs. "Both the songs and the Piano are back here. Please ignore the mess. I haven't finished unpacking yet." He'd been living there for nearly six months and he still wasn't sure where his silverware was.
While Tee poked through the box, Cayle studied him. The glasses were...intriguing. Hell, the whole package was intriguing. "So, do you live around here?" How could he ask the man if he fancied a ride on the Harley or a ride on the lid of the piano without possibly offending him. He honestly didn't normally act this way. Normally, when he felt like seeing a man he dragged himself down to the local gay scene and found one. He rarely pounced on his customers.
He eyed Tee. He'd all but lept at this one, though. Oh sure, he'd admired a customer or two while they browsed but he'd never acted on that admiring. Tee would be the first customer he'd brought up to the apartment. He ususally brought the music down to customers. Really, all Tee had to do was say the word and Cayle would probably strip where he stood.
He huffed out a sigh. Maybe it had just been too long since he'd had any sort of friendly companionship and his body was tell him so. Still...the man would look good against the black lid of the piano.

Tiegen was practically bouncing on the inside. It was like going on an adventure as he followed Cayle through the back room and outside into the yard. When he saw the Ducati Tee perked up a bit. He had always hated cars because they made him feel boxed in, but a motorcycle was a different story. Unfortunately he didn't currently own -any- form of motor vehicle. The sight of the bike also gave him the vague impression this small adventure was going to end inside Cayle's private residence.
Now Cayle was a good looking man, but Tee wasn't really the 'jump-someones-bones' type of person. Except that exactly what he wanted to do, and he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to keep his mouth (and what came out of it) from getting him into trouble.
Once inside, Tee's feeling of adventure came back as the glanced around, trying to get a better feel of the man that lived there. He waved off Cayle's comment about the mess, understanding how things could be after moving. Hell, he had lived in Cedar Valley for almost two years now and there was still a box or two lurking around his apartment. When his eyes fell on the baby grand, as well as the box of music, he grinned, eager to see how good this composer friend of Cayle's was.
Tee at once got lost in his thoughts as the rifled through the sheet music. He was contemplating if he could convince Cayle to play one of the pieces for him so he could get a chance to hear how well he played. After all, it was obvious the baby grand was well used and well loved, besides the fact that he had one in his home at all, so he must play. He had pulled a few things that looked very interesting and brought them over to the piano, laying them out in the order he thought he would try them before ghosting his fingers over the keys.
The sigh pulled his attention back to the owner of the piano he was admiring, and cocked his head to the side as he wondered what thoughts could have brought about that sound. And be ever the curious one, he had to ask. "Penny for your thoughts?"

Cayle shook his head and glanced at Tee. The man was now standing by the piano, fingers just barely touching the keys. "Oh, nothing really. Just wondering how you'd look sprawled over the top of the piano without a stitch of clothing on. Or, for that matter, on the back of my Harley without a stitch of clothing on."
Two seconds after he said it, Cayle realized what he'd said. His eyes went all round and shocked and he was pretty sure that he 'meeped.' "Shit, sorry, I didn't mean that. Just ignore that." He stammered out. After clearing his throat, Cayle leaned against the baby grand. "See anything you like?"
He was probably just getting himself even deeper into trouble this way but he didn't care. He'd either get punched in the face or jumped. These things tended to go one way or another.

As Cayle so nonchalantly told him exactly that he had been thinking, Tiegen's insides were dancing for joy. On the outside his eyes widened as one of his eyebrows raised, vaguely shocked that he would just come out and say something like that to a relative stranger, but also glad that he didn't seem to be the only one whose mouth ran away from them. The words, however, evoked naughty images and watching Cayle's absolute surprise as he realized what he had spoken, Tee just couldn't help but let a very coy little grin slide across his face.
The opening was perfect, truly perfect. How could he not jump the man now? Tiegen slid himself right up beside Cayle and tilted so he was speaking, softly, right into his ear. "Oh, I most definitely see something I like. Or, should I say -someone-?"
Tee heistated, normally liking to tell his lovers what he was before they got to anything too serious, but he didn't really know how this one would react. And he -really- wanted this one. However, his conscience wouldn't let him get away with it if he didn't at least -try- to tell him. "The question is, are you still willing to -know- what I would looked like sprawled on top of your piano or on the back of your Harley naked, even though I'm practically a stranger?"

Cayle could only be glad that he didn't jump with Tee slid up next to him. He very nearly purred when he heard what Tee said. Was he willing to get naked with a complete stranger? Oh, hell yes. Cayle grinned at Tee and backed him against the baby grand. "I would love to know what you look like on my piano. Bed. Couch. Harley, Counter. Hell, my kitchen floor would probably be fine with me."
Cayle hooked a finger into the collar of Tee's shirt and yanked him forward just the slightest bit and kissed him. And this was no friendly peck. His mother would have died had she seen what her son considered a decent first kiss should be. He had his hands in Tee's hair, his body pressed against Tee's, and a hope that Tee would enjoy being boosted up against the piano.
He pulled back just enough to rest his forehead against Tee's. "I wanted to jump you the moment I saw you." He braced his arms against the piano, thankful that he'd closed the lid that morning in order to dust it, and kept Tee against the shiney instrument. "What about you? Would you mind getting naked with me?"

Tiegen's coy little smirk was getting more wicked by the second. Just being backed against the piano was enough, but he was near to purring as Cayle listed off all of the potential places they could be getting naked. If they both had the time and the stamina, maybe they could get to them all. He knew he at least wanted to try.
There were no protests as he was pulled forward for a rather involved kiss, just managing to cock his head far enough to the side to keep from catching his glasses. Tee had enough experience in that area to keep from having little moments like that ruin the mood. Once Cayle's hands found their way into his hair, his hands were out and on their own search for something to grab onto. They decided on slithering their way just up under the back of his shirt.
He smiled again almost as soon as his mouth was free to do so. "I wanted to jump -you- when I heard you keeping that kid in line." So he had a thing for that... but he liked to give as good as he got, too. Tee pushed himself right up against Cayle. "And I definitely wouldn't mind getting naked with you."

Cayle grinned. "I'll have to herd Henry back into line more often then. And glad to hear that you wouldn't mind getting naked with me." He wiggled his eyebrows at Tee. "Wanna get naked with me right now?"
There were hands on his back and it felt as if those hands were burning into his skin. He wondered what those hands would feel like when they wandered into other places. Cayle whirled them around so that he was the one leaning against the piano and boosted himself up. He pulled Tee into the vee his legs created and grinned. "We should probably end this else where. I'm not sure the piano can take the abuse I'm about to put you, and it, through."
He drapped his arms around Tee's neck and wrapped his legs around Tee's waist. "We can, however, start this here and end elsewhere. Quite possibly the floor by the piano is where this could end." Cayle leaned in, tilted his head, and kissed Tee again.

Tiegen was smirking, though he still heard that little voice in the back of his mind bitching at him for not telling Cayle he was about to get naked with a vampire, but he pushed the voice aside. He had always been careful enough not to accidentally bite someone in the heat of passion before, he could do it again. Tee snickered when Cayle asked if he wanted to get naked now... of course he did! "The sooner the better."
Tee let out a huff of air as they were spun around, their positions reversed. He had been taken by surprise momentarily, but now he was right back in the game as he felt Cayle's legs wrap around his waist. His hands slid further up the back of Cayle's shirt as he pushed himself closer, almost growling at the mention of what they were about to do and just how involved it was most likely going to get.
More than willing to start things off on the piano, Tee leaned up, almost on his tip-toes as he returned the kiss. From there he almost hoisted a leg up, intending to climb on the piano and on top of his newest lover, before he gave a thought to how much weight the top of the piano might be able to hold. He was all for ending up on the floor, so long as this continued.
First thing first... that offending shirt had to go. Tiegen started pushing Cayle's shirt up, trying not to interrupt their kiss as long as possible. Once he had it bunched up as high as it would go, Tee pulled back enough to pull the thing off. He also used the break in their kiss to ask a very important question. "You think the piano will survive with both of us on top of it?" He had never tried it with his own before.

Cayle considered the piano he was sitting on. It was pretty solid and it wasn't as if he routinly had lovers on it. Nornally, he never put anything on the piano other then papers and pencils. He highly doubted that it would suddenly fall apart, the thing was solidly built. "We could give it a try."
He assisted Tee in taking off the shirt he'd pulled on that morning, happily flinging it towards a corner of the room. He entangled himself from Tee and scooted back just a bit and laid back on the piano. He crooked a finger at Tee. "I would imagine that if some people feel comfortable to roll around on these things that we can managed this. Why don't you take that shirt off and come on up here."
Once he was shirtless and hovering over him, Cayle yanked him down so that their bodies were aligned and kissed him. Gods above but he couldn't get enough of this man. He wrapped one leg back around Tee's hips just to keep him there for the next little while. The other leg was bent at the knee, braced against the piano's lid rather then left hanging off the edge.

So they were going to try a little roll around the top of the baby grand before moving on to alternative surfaces. Tiegen was definitely okay with that. When Cayle shifted to lay back on the piano, he was -without a doubt- okay with that, and he couldn't pull his shirt over his head fast enough.
Tee kicked his shoes off for good measure and was up on the piano as fast as he could manage, hovering over him and using his photographic memory very much to his advantage. Damn, he really liked to look of this man laid out on a piano beneath him. There were no protests from him as he was pulled down into another kiss, and he had no problem reciprocating.
Tiegen was letting one of his hands wander down Cayle's side and over his thigh before making its way back up. He just couldn't see to get enough of touching this man, and he was rather annoyed that there was still clothing keeping his hands from having access to everything. He pulled back from the kiss far enough to start kissing anywhere else he could reach.

Cayle didn't that he had ever responded to anyone is such a manner. Maybe it was because Tee was a complete stranger and thus, a mystery who happened to have a mouth that should have been made illegal on him. Cayle tightened the leg around Tee's hips, wrapped an arm around his shoulders and let his head fall back, exposing his neck to the man.
He allowed Tee's hands and mouth to wander where they pleased. He liked just how that mouth and those hands felt running across his flesh. He loosened the arm around Tiegan's shoulders and slid the hand attached to the arm up his neck and into his hair, where it fisted. He attempted to direct Tee's mouth to the sensitive flesh of his neck for that was one of his spots.
He didn't speak, he just moaned and groaned whenever Tee's hands or mouth hit just right, using the speechless noises to inform his lover just how much he was enjoy this. Hell, somewhere in the back of his mind, he was thinking of getting this piano bronzed. Or moved into the bedroom.

Tiegen groaned as he felt Cayle's leg tighten around his hips, unable to keep from giving a little involuntary shift of those hips. His eyes were drawn right to the exposed neck just waiting for him, and he couldn't just ignore his lover's wishes. Tee avoided keeping his mouth on that neck for too long, moving on to explore Cayle's shoulders and chest, but his hands were busy everywhere else he couldn't quite reach with his lips.
He was reveling in the sounds Cayle was making, paying attention to what he did and where he was when he heard some of the more passionate noises. Tee hissed as his hair was fisted, but it was far from being a sound of pain or displeasure. Quite the opposite, in fact. He groaned when he realized where he was being directed to, but he gave in for a short time and reattached his lips to Cayle's neck.
Tiegen wasn't sure how much more of this he could take before he went crazy. Everything about Cayle was intoxicating. He kissed his was up to his lover's ear before pausing. "We need to get naked soon, or I'm going to lose my mind." And he accentuated his point by giving a little tug on the waist of Cayle's pants.

Cayle grinned as his own hands fished for the fastenings of Tee's pants. "Wouldn't want that to happen. Would be a great tragedty."
Later, once Cayle thought that he might have regained the ability to think properly, he turned his head and looked at Tee. "Well, the Piano held up for that." He looked down at himself. He was naked, save for a sock. "I suppose I should offer you something to eat or drink after that. Or another go on a softer surface." Cayle scrambled off the piano. "Do you know where you flung my pants?"
Once he had his jeans on, but not buttoned or zipped, merely hanging from his hips, Cayle left to go scrounge up something to eat for both him and Tee. "What do you like to eat?" he yelled back to Tee.

Tiegen snorted when Cayle commented on the staying power of the piano. He was so pleasantly tired at the moment that the thing could fall out from under him and crash to the floor and he probably wouldn't bother to try and move. Tee was only just started to realized how uncomfortable a piano could be when trying to relax while sprawled across the top of it. A softer surface was sounding very good, as was something to eat. His stomach gave a little grumble at the mention of food.
He laughed when Cayle asked where his pants where and motioned off towards the general direction he had flung them. Once the pants had been found and pulled on, Tee watched Cayle walk out of the room before sighing and deciding he should probably find his own pants.
His pants were found quickly, as they had been kicked off right by the piano, and he pulled them on. Tiegen zipped and buttoned his, however, just to keep them from falling off until he -wanted- them off. Just as he finished he heard Cayle yell out to him.
Tee wandered out instead of yelling back his reply, finding Cayle in the kitchen area. "Anything really. Though, if we want to keep up this pace, we should probably make sure to eat carbs."

Carbs. Cayle didn't really have anything containing carbs in his pantry. Then again, he mused, there wasn't much of anything in his pantry. When was the last time he'd gone food shopping? Cayle spotted a lonely, and slightly dusty box of pasta sitting on a shelf. He snapped up the box and waved it at Tee. "I've got pasta and thats about it. We could eat the pasta, and I'm not sure how long I've had this box, or we could go down to the little Italian pizza place. It's a few shops down but, sadly, we'd be required to keep our clothes on. But we'd be fed."
While he waited for Tee's answer, Cayle studied the box of questionable pasta. He wasn't sure when, or if, he'd bought the box. It could have been a leftover from the apartment's previous occupant. He'd have to go shopping soon. If just to feed Tee in order to keep his stamina up.

Tiegen raised a brow as he watched Cayle rummage for something with carbs they could eat. It really shouldn't have been that difficult to find something, he could even name several quick and simple things to make with carbs. When Cayle emerged from the pantry with only one dusty box of pasta, he could see where their problem was. However, Tee couldn't help but snicker a little bit. Seriously, how can someone, especially a human, survive with no food in the house?
He smiled when Cayle stated that their food alternative required clothes. "I'm sure I could live with keeping my clothes on long enough to eat. Though, with you around, that may be a bit more of a challenge than I think than I think it will be." Tee gave Cayle a little tug on the waist of his jeans. Hard enough to get his attention, but light enough to keep the things from falling off. "Lets get some clothes on. The faster we eat the faster we can get back here and get naked again."
